"Are you ready Y/n?" Eunji's voice echoed through the hallway as she knocked on the door.

"I'm coming," I yelled as I tied the shoelace and opened the door.

"Let's go!" I locked my door and we both made our way downstairs.

It's been almost a week since we were back at our place. My examinations for the program had already started two days ago. The system of examination system was a bit different here. Today I had to give a presentation in front of a small board of teachers, who were in our semester. It was more like an open viva. like they would be asking questions related to my project work and such as well from the presentation. And yes,

I was nervous.

"Nervous?" Eunji asked as we sat in her car. She was dropping me to my university today.

"Well yes, it's been so long since I attended any in-person class. And suddenly I need to give the presentation." I replied doing hand gestures.

She chuckled, "You will do great Y/n. You are preparing for this for so long, it will be worth it." She started driving as we were on the main street now.

I gave her a small smile, nodding.

"Also, will there be some acquaintance in your group? Did you get to know? And which block is allotted to you? " She asked, her eyes focused on the road.

"Ah, Suho had told me he will send me the roll number sheet as soon as he reach there. Lemme check."

I pulled my phone out and that's when it clicked in my mind.

I swiped open the chat and,

I sighed and scrolled down to message Suho. After I was done, my finger was again hovering over the same contact.

He must be busy...,

I mentally scolded myself and shook my head.

"He still hasn't replied yet?" Eunji asked, slide glancing at me.

"Ani. He must be busy. Its n-"

"Didn't he call you his friend? Shouldn't he at least reply? It takes only a minute to do so"

"He isn't obliged to do so Eunji. Don't make it sound as if he is doing something wro-"

"He helped you with that project and still hasn't replied yet? Jungkook we know isn't like that? Earlier he never left you on seen." She raised her brow at me and I pursued my lips.

Jungkook hasn't been replying to my messages.

I messaged him a few times.

I glanced back at the one-sided chat on my screen,

JK: Who is it? [6 days ago, 12:48 p.m.]

Y/n: It's Y/n, Jin Oppa gave me your number. We couldn't talk properly last time.. [6 days ago, 12:51 p.m]

Jungkook? [ 4 days ago, 7:29 a.m.]

I hope you are doing fine. You aren't replying to my messages. You must be busy with your schedule. Take care of yourself :)) [4 days ago, 7:32 a.m.]

I'm going to present the ppt we made in a few days. Letting you know cus you had said so. [4 days ago, 7:46 p.m.]

I miss him so much.

He behaved strangely on the last day. I don't know but I'm having this uneasy feeling inside me.

I threw my phone on the couch again and sighed.

I need to ignore her.

"Jungkook! You are next," The director's voice echoed through sets. And in no time two staff were almost there to escort me.

"I'm coming."

Jin POV

"Something is up with him," I muttered to myself as I saw Jungkook entering the set with a blank face.

He IS usually cheerful and goofy whenever there is some shoot. Especially since it's been a good time since we started. He usually opens up to new surroundings by then. Trying to annoy me, but he didn't even glance at me for once even.

He is actually like this since the day girls left. Y/N left.

No, something happened in Jeju and he isn't telling me at all.

I would have called Y/n, but she must be having exams, as she told me. Our phone numbers had changed the same day girls went, for security reasons.

"You are right hyung..." I was startled at the sudden familiar voice beside me.

"You scared me yoongi.." I shook my head.

"Anyways, It can't go on like this...Look, he is getting scolded for a third time this week." He remarked at the scene in front of us.

"You are right... we need to open him up to know what is going on,"
