《Let's Play: Chronicles of Zurefgar》Intermission: Rushvatte

I can’t believe this one hell of a rock head would actually listen and take the bear form. However, I strongly believed that he had done so because of the words of my deskmate and Pitoy. If I was the only person talking about it, he wouldn’t even bother.
What a sassy brother he is….
Anyway, he actually did more than I expected. When I heard that he took the bear form, I thought he would just use the bear form as a supplementary form without much investment with it. Boy, I was wrong. He gave the form half of his custom ability slot, as well as specialisation point, and utilised the form not just to survive damage but actually opened up opportunities for his tiger form.
The constant switch between bear and tiger form is something you would normally see when Rushvatte dived into the fray. A rare sight indeed, since most panther based mystic would rarely gave away the spotlight from the form.
His bear form had an array of custom abilities that is aimed towards breaking through someone’s defences, as if it was specifically designed to deal with heavier armoured targets. [Hammer Dunk] was clearly inspired from basketball, it simply stun a target by forcing them flat on the ground with massive force. [Brutal Impact] is used to close gap or throw the opponent away. And [Wild Drive] is… I am not sure what it was supposed to be. I mean it could be used to drag allies and foes alike, thus maybe it is aimed as a target relocation tool or something. Imagine if he threw Macepaw with his acidic armor like what he did to me, there would be chaos.
[Wrathful Roar] is shared between his two forms which is available to him due to the Harmony effect. If not mistaken, it becomes a completely different ability if his hp drops below 40%. Nevertheless, I never saw him use it that way.

Finally, despite what I have said about his bear form, his tiger form was still the main source of danger from Rushvatte. His tiger form is really opportunistic and could easily take over any advantage even for a split second. [Saber Slam] is in a way similar to the one in his bear form, it is just that this one seemed to be used to stop people who are running away. On the other hand [Lightning Grip] is a more notorious version of the bear form’s [Brutal Impact]. Both are a distance closing ability, yet [Lightning Grip] has a close quarter version which increases his attack speed after the manoeuvre.
Finally, the most dangerous one is actually [Blitz]. Due to its hyper speed, the ability cannot be blocked in any way possible. I don’t even think it could be evaded as well. This finishing attack type ability also ignores any armour or shield protecting the target. Thus, it would be effective even on the most protected targets.
Geez… some heavily armoured player might really have triggered him.

MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.

His house was beyond fun and games during the summer for a young girl who was taught to love adventures. Now years later she is about to find her own way to adventures she never dreamed of. And maybe, never wanted.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
