In the blackness of space, the Guild vessel rests somewhere between stars. It has spread its sensor arrays across light years, as the Guild keeps their vigil.
The wait for their next target can sometimes take millennia. Life aboard the vessel goes on, as lifeforms on nearby planets evolve from amoeba to complex and thinking creatures.
The oldest organization in the Universe, the Singularity Guild, protects the fabric of the Universe. The very integrity of time.
They search for the next technological singularity, and every time they discover a society on the brink, it filled them with sorrow. Sorrow for what might have been, if only the civilization had not reached.
An alert breaks the endless night. A small G-type main sequence star with a young civilization is exploring the three ingredients of their doom.
Artificial Intelligence, nanotechnology and faster than light travel.
The Guild vessel begins to retract the sensor array.

Comes with a dash of The Office and Office Space plus a side of Super Hero satire. Office Days is episodic in nature. So each story is standalone and may vary in length and focus. The Monday Case is the first episode and serves mostly to introduce the characters broadly. Comments get +Rep for effort. This setting was intended to be a comic series but I never found an artist for the job... probably for lack of trying. The "art" is for concept only... it took me far too long to make and it's still all sub-par.

It's quite easy to get into and be engaged by at the moment, imo.
