《In Naruto With Gamer System》Chapter 259: Meeting of old monsters

Bakorio's Sharingan revolved silently as he analyzed Raiko's simple slash yet his eyes couldn't help but widen the more he stared at it
'This is…' Without a trace of hesitation, Bakorio instantly tilted his whole body backward and barely dodged the attack, and he didn't regret this decision in the slightest as the area behind him turned into a scene of absolute destruction as countless trees and hills were cut in half by the normal looking attack.
"Oh… The Sharingan is truly interesting" spoke Raiko with intrigue in his voice, although his expression was still hidden by his hat…
"Teacher, are you okay?" Asked Yoshino when she saw the level of destruction caused by the simple-looking attack. However, Bakorio remained silent as his eyes narrowed
'He used at least ten times the chakra I used and focused it on his sword with such an ease that it appeared completely natural, yet very destructive at the same time… This guy is strong'
After concluding his thoughts, Bakorio simply sheathed his sword and spoke calmly "It seems like you are truly skilled, however, that's not good enough if you want to teach Yoshino, just good chakra handling techniques aren't enough"
Raiko seemed surprised by how calm Bakorio was acting despite him showing the disparity in their strength and he couldn't help but grin and was about to challenge him again but a voice suddenly echoed in his head and he was so surprised to the point that he felt a chill as he quickly turned around to stare at the damage Bakorio's attack caused..;
"Don't tell me…" Raiko had a look of realization on his face while Yoshino simply held Bakorio's clothes and asked "Teacher did you lose?"
Seeing the damage that Raiko's attack caused made it seem like he lost, and Bakorio simply pointed behind Raiko and a gust of wind suddenly swept causing the normal scene to drastically change, although in a different way than Raiko's…
Behind him stood a giant tree with plenty of leaves, but as the gust of wind blew on it, Yoshino saw something so shocking to the point that it would remain with her for the rest of her life…

Every leaf on that giant tree was split cleanly in half! And as the gust of wind blew them, they slowly fell down to the ground while Raiko stared at them silently… This was Bakorio's ingenious attack that was actually hundreds of small slashes constructed into one!
"Teacher this is amazing! How did you do that? Didn't you only use one slash?" Yoshino's eyes were sparkling to a fanatic degree as she couldn't understand just what kind of magic is capable of this, but her intuition told her that it was something unique!
'Such terrifying mastery… it seems like the master was right, this man is not ordinary' thought Raiko before he turned to Bakorio and clasped his hand before he said "My master wishes to see you, would you like to accompany me?"
'It seems like showing my terrifying mastery of controlling chakra paid off and the fish took the bait' thought Bakorio with a smile before he nodded at Raiko and said to Yoshino "Come with me, this could be a good opportunity for you as well, although I will have to inform your grandma just in case"
Then, Bakorio created a shadow clone and sent it to inform the grandma that they might be late before he started following Raiko who suddenly asked "Excuse me for my rudeness but I haven't asked for your name yet"
Bakorio's eyes were calm as he said "My name is Uchiha Sakai"
Raiko faintly smiled and said "No, I meant your real name"
Bakorio paused slightly and Yoshino couldn't help but stare at him in shock, however, he didn't mind and simply said "Your master Murakumo is quite good at observing people"
Raiko didn't respond when he heard this but Yoshino was overwhelmed with all of this information 'Teacher's real name isn't Sakai? But why is he hiding his identity? And are we really going to meet that legendary swordsman?'
The little girl found herself lost in her thoughts, but it wasn't long before they ventured deeper into the forest and suddenly found themselves in front of a giant waterfall that had a simple house built beside its shores…

"Waa, this place is so beautiful, but how come it's not snowing here?" Asked Yoshino curiously and Bakorio calmly responded to her "This is thanks to a formation we entered that teleported us here, we are not even in the land of iron anymore… This is the land of mountains, quite the distance from where we were"
"Ehh really?" Yoshino's eyes widened in disbelief which was soon overwhelmed with curiosity while Raiko simply froze and stared at Bakorio in disbelief as he thought 'How does he know?'
However, an old voice suddenly sounded from the house, and soon after exited an old man. He had long white hair and a long white beard, but his body appeared fit and youthful in contrast to his voice as he spoke "Bakorio Uchiha, you truly are a terrifying genius of this era"
Bakorio calmly stared at the man that appeared in front of him "Murakumo I assume? I'm honored to know that someone living in seclusion like you knows of my existence"
As Bakorio said this, he found it was not needed anymore to keep his identity hidden, he only did it In the first place to avoid worrying the people of the land of iron with his presence since he only appears in case of emergencies…
Yoshino watched in surprise as Bakorio's short hair grew in length until it reached his lower back and his wide eyebrows turned sharper…
"This old man lives in seclusion but I keep an eye on the world in case something interesting happens, please come in" Spoke Murakumo calmly appearing like any gentle old man you would find in your neighborhood, but Bakorio could feel the terrifying sharpness hidden in every single one of his gestures…
'I can't measure how strong this guy is..' Bakorio's eyes shined with interest as he nodded his head and followed after the old man while Yoshino clung to him tightly…
After sitting down, Raiko went to prepare some tea while Murakumo observed Yoshino silently and asked "Little girl, you have the talent to become a great swordsman, would you like to be my second student?"
Yoshino was shocked, she was actually sitting in front of a legend yet he was actually interested in making her his disciple… She felt over the clouds with happiness, but she suddenly wondered 'Who's teacher then? Why would such a legend accept meeting him?'
She couldn't help but hung her head down, especially when she saw Bakorio leave the decision up to her, but eventually, after clenching her teeth, she looked at Murakumo and said "I will do as teacher says"
Bakorio smiled slightly at the little girl and he couldn't help but poke her on the forehead "I'm not your teacher" And she simply retaliated by punching and kicking him on the leg.
Murakumo on the other hand was surprised by this but he simply smiled and turned to Bakorio and asked "What do you think?"
Hearing this, Bakorio's smile suddenly disappeared as he turned to stare at Murakumo and this time he was serious… A terrifying coldness and killing intent gushed from every cell of his body along with a strong aura of death that made Murakumo narrow his eyes as a terrifying sharpness gushed from his body
"I want to ask you something first… What's your position on the situation of the world?" Bakorio couldn't give him such a talented girl just to let him groom a future enemy for him and Murakumo seemed to realize this as he said
"You want to know what our purpose is?" Replied Murakumo calmly as Raiko calmly placed the tea between them although he was also releasing a terrifying aura when he heard his master speak to the shock of Yoshino who started trembling and directly hid behind Bakorio who calmly nodded despite facing two monsters and the oldest one of the two calmly spoke
"My purpose is simple, free my brother who fell to the darkness"
"Brother?" muttered Bakorio, this was truly far from the answer he was expecting…

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
