《The Devil's Parcel》Chapter 17: Extracting the Crystal

"What is Abel thinking?" That is what Lilith thinks when she brings her son to Amays so she can heal him.
On the way to Amaya, Cerberus stops abruptly.
"Why did you stop Cerberus? We need to get to Amaya."
Lilith looks up and sees Abel standing in front of Cerberus
Abel walks over to the boy and places his soul back in his body.
"There, he should fully control himself when he wakes up."
"Why don't you ever make anything obvious? Why don't you make your intentions clear!"
"Because if you don't think for yourself, you'll never grow as a person. Think about it, Lilith. Your child had no control over his emotions due to his being premature, and it was obvious from the beginning that he would be born prematurely."
"How?"
"Did you really think a dragon egg would incubate properly in this climate? He would be dead in that egg if he wasn't Alastor's son."
"How come you never told me."
"It's not my job to father an egg that isn't mine."
"If you were an upcoming parent and someone knew how to properly have a kid, then wouldn't you want to know?"
"The difference between me and that analogy is I know everything. I know how to take care of my child. That's why she won't come out premature."
Lilith's expression changed from anger to curiosity.
"You're having a baby with Lillia?"
"Yes," Abel said with a calm tone
"Does she know?"
"Yes. And were both very excited."
"This doesn't mean I forgive you for hurting my son."
"Hurting him? Just because Alastor didn't give him power doesn't mean he's some weak child. He's still the child of a dragon."

Lilith stood quiet
"Where is your boyfriend anyways? I need to talk to him."
"He's not my boyfriend."
"I'm right here." Michael hopped off of Cerberus's back
"Good, Take the boy home and keep an eye on him." Abel thought for a bit before asking. "By the way, Lilith, what will you name your child?"
"Adam."
"Alright then, let's go, Lilith."
"Wait. Where."
The Land around Abel and Lilith is transformed by stretching and changing color until they reach their destination.
"Where are we?"
"Heaven."
Lilith's mind starts racing; she starts bracing herself to not be overwhelmed when she saw the gates of heaven. When she turns around she becomes horrified
The gates were destroyed, the top of the dome building was set ablaze, and the buildings were destroyed.
"What happened here." Lilith's voice was horrified
"It was destroyed by Alastor and me a long time ago."
"What about Leon's soul."
"Don't worry about the souls. They're in New Heaven."
Abel and Lilith walk up to the gate. Lilith tries to open the gate, but it's locked.
Abel puts his hand on the gate and sends them flying.
The two walk into old heaven, and they head for the center.
"Hey Abel, this is a cool place and all, but why are we here?"
"To extract the crystal."
"What crystal?"
"So many questions Lilith. Just start thinking."
Lilith tried to think of what Abel was talking about, but she drew a blank. Lilith also didn't want to bother Abel, so she stood quiet.
The two reached the center of Old Heaven, and the surrounding area was completely destroyed. The buildings were nonexistent, and there were missing chunks of floor spanning miles.
Lilith looks around to survey the damage but what she finds is a man with dark-colored wings.

"Abel, who is that?"
"He's an Angel. They protect this place from intruders like us. There are probably a couple hundred just watching us."
"Then why haven't they stopped us?!"
"Because I'm here."
"But aren't they really strong?"
"Yea, in terms of strength, they are about as strong as Michael going all out."
"How do you know how strong he is going all out?"
"It comes with experience."
"Oh."
"Let's just hope they don't realize I'm not that strong right now."
"Why?"
"As I am right now, they would definitely win."
Abel started saying an incantation that lasted five seconds. When the incantation was completed, the area around the two of them was completely restored to its former glory. The buildings were rebuilt, A fountain appeared in the middle, and the ground was rebuilt, revealing thousands of shards.
"Aren't those."
"Yup. Shards of heaven."
Abel told Lilith to stand before the fountain to begin the extraction process.
Suddenly chains burst out of the floor, binding Lilith in place.
"What is this for."
"I'm going to need you to stay still,"
Abel walks up to Lilith and puts his fingers on her stomach. Abel says a few words and starts pulling his fingers away; as he does, a reddish-black aura comes out of Lilith's stomach.
Lilith starts to scream in pain.
The Angels come out of hiding and go to attack Abel.
Chains burst out of the floor and bind all the Angels.
Abel keeps trying to pull, but he isn't strong enough to pull out the Aura entirely. Abel Looks at the shards and calls them to himself.
With the power of thousand shards, Abel pulls harder but can't entirely pull out the Aura.
Abel looks at the Angels and takes all their power. Abel can finally pull the Aura out with the power of a hundred angels and thousands of heaven-shards.
The Aura crystallized in Abel's hand.
The binds release Lilith, and she falls to the floor unconscious.
"We're one step closer to getting her back, Alastor." Abel was talking to no one in particular.
Abel took the power he gained from the Angels and returned it. As for the power of the crystals, it got exhausted when he got the crystal.
Abel picked up Lilith and dropped off Lilith at home.
After dropping off Lilith, Abel went to see brother once more.
"Your visits are getting more frequent you know."
"Brother, do you know what this is?"
Abel lifts the crystal in the air for Brother to see
Brother senses who is in the crystal.
"Abel isn't that..."
"It is."
"I was wondering why Alastor was so fixated on Lilith, but now we know why. It's because Nora was inside.
"Abel, you know what will happen if we release Nora."
"Yea, yea, The end of the world will begin."
"Yes, because once Alastor gets Nora back, nothing will stop him from letting the world destroy itself."
"That's the plan, is it not?"
"What plan?"
Abel begins to walk away.
Brother shouts at Abel.
"What plan?"
Abel keeps walking and disappears.
