《The Bartender at the End of the Universe》Ch 236: Tearing through Realities

BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
The wolf stumbled as the third bullet exploded a chunk of his back.
Schwink!
As the robotic hand flew down towards Sentenza, Bakade and team Death crossed paths in front of the fist, and with her claw, and Death's scythe, they cut through the reinforced metal and forced the hand to pull back.
As Bakade landed on the ground, she wavered slightly, but managed to keep her feet. Quickly, she put her hand up against her stomach and her teeth crushed against each other.
Sentenza's eyes studied her as he quickly reloaded his guns.
The wolf didn't let up his assault in spite of his injury, and neither did Bakade.
"Come on! We can't let them have all the fun!" Og'drimun cheered as his hands sent a glowing aura around the scythe's blade.
Oh, they haven't seen anything yet! Death cheered.
The pale horse looked like it wanted to whinny, but it just stared intensely at the wolf. Emotionless, yet determined. Seemingly certain and definitely self-assured.
However, the robot stepped back. It looked down at its damaged fists, and then clenched them tightly.
"Reboot complete."
Everyone froze as the childish girls disembodied voice rang out all around them.
The robot twitched and jolted around as it was forced to bend forward.
Bakade turned towards the metal giant as it doubled over. If it was made of flesh and bone, it would be obvious that it was in immense pain.
BANG!
Bakade's head flung to the side as a bullet ricochet off of her antler. As she was twisted to the side, the bullet changed direction towards the wolf who was almost upon the girl.
The wolf twisted his body, and the bullet ended up just grazing his cheek.
Bakade fell to the ground, and as she tried to lift herself back up, her arms shook. For a moment, it seemed like she was going to collapse back down, but with determination, she managed to pick herself back up.

Uh...that seems like a problem. Death said.
"What do you mean? He's way smaller now." Og'drimun scoffed. "That's the opposite of a problem!"
Death pointed a single bony finger down towards the robot as he reminded Og'drimun, But wasn't Sid in there? He definitely won't fit anymore!
"You thought he was still alive?" The tiny demon said with clear shock. "He totally got obliterated way before we even left the room."
Give the dude a little credit, he...
As the two of them argued back and forth, Sentenza, Bakade, and the wolf turned to look at the robot. It was now much smaller. Why, it was much closer to Trizel's size.
The robot was humanoid. But it had an extra pair of arms on its chest, and two smaller pairs down its back. Its main set of arms were massive, almost more like a pair of cannons strapped to it. Surprisingly enough its legs were fairly normal looking and unobtrusive.
The head was completely nonexistent. Just a series of arms and a pair of legs on a powerful looking torso.
"Well, that can't be good." Sentenza sighed.
The wolf lunged towards the robot. But just before it could reach it, the machine held up one of its massive hands with an open palm towards the canine. A black portal appeared between them, and the wolf disappeared within it. As the last but of his tail passed through the threshold, the robot lowered its arm and the portal disappeared.
"Okay, maybe you're right about it being more of a problem now," Og'drimun piped up after he watched the wolf disappear into the void.
"Wwwaaaiiittt....iiiisss....iiiisss ttthhaaattr hhhooowww wwweeee gggooottt hhhheeerrreeee?" Bakade asked as she raised a finger to point to where the portal had been.

Sentenza narrowed his eyes and spat out his cigarillo. He stomped on the nicotine stick and ground it under his heel.
"That thing didn't exist like that until a minute ago. So that couldn't be how we got here," Sentenza lied.
Death pointed forward towards the robot as he held his scythe up in the air. Charge! He cried.
And his pale horse did indeed charge forward towards the machine.
The robot seemed completely unphased and held up its hand again.
As another portal appeared, Og'drimun piped up. "Uh, is this really such a good idea?"
Dumb ideas get cool results all the time! Cheered Death. I mean, remember the beach problem we solved?
The fuzzy demon smiled as he seemed to reminisce. "Ah, how could I forget." He said with a lecherous grin.
The horse didn't stop, and as they ran into the portal, the horse's head passed right through. Much to Sentenza and Bakade's surprise. While Og'drimun and Death looked ecstatic.
It worked we did i...
Death was cut off as even though the horse seemed immune to the portal, it became very clear that Death and Og'drimun were not.
The horse came to a stop just past the portal. It was looking straight ahead, which was right past the robot. As the horse stood still, the robot slowly lowered its arm. The portal disappeared, and so did the connection to Og'drimun and Death.
The robot turned towards the horse, but the horse just stood there, unnervingly still.
"Idiots," Sentenza sighed.
