《CARNAGE CARNIVORE - A dragon devouring faeries...-》FIRE!
The ummites gathered their main fleet around the arctéfact stone. They feared it and it had a devastating effect on them, turning them into a kind of rabid, contaminating zombies. Many of their worlds and planets were ravaged and only the earth produced the required effect. This is why the Ummites wanted to turn the earth into a kind of laboratory, using the deportation of different races... but this did not apply to them and they planned to take away the souls of the people enslaved by theirs in order to have an immortality for all... except for Tyrant who was the only true "Immortal", a bit like a queen of a beehive... All their attempts, however, resulted in the death of the host and they planned to add runes to the stone in orbit to finalize their plans and, with the armada and troops assembled in full, take advantage of the opportunity and receive the desired results... but Carnage was... the grain of sand and they decided, even against established laws, to act... as if for state reasons.
The visits, the officials and the submissions... they were all part of the scenery, much as prostitution was part of the drug trade. One was always linked to the other.
It was power/show and extravagant costumes were added to show their superiority.
It was the nature of things... everywhere in the universe.
And the serious stuff was about to begin...
An imperial cruiser made its descent near a track arranged with an elven temple with the colors and blazons of the Lord Tyrant.
This cruiser, practically unarmed, served as an elevator for officials, the public and fans of the Ummites' show politics. Everything about them was extravagant and showed their superiority in strength, power and technology... But of all the subjugated peoples...and not yet subjugated, only the humans with their knowledge were able to compete with them, if they had been given time...
Soldiers, officers and seconds from Mondeville were on board... Elven priests were invited and some pro-Ummite fanatics. All of them wanted to put on their grotesque horned helmets...and parade with black boots here and in the universe...
The day went on..and they disembarked in an imperial shuttle 50 times bigger than the cruiser...
The.. Tyrant was waiting for them... in his mystical form. To show the difference between a God and mortals...
It was also untouchable and intangible, a bit like a hologram but there was no projector.
There were guards at gunpoint for all comers, in case some fool tried something, and a whole clique of generals from different worlds were waiting for the earthlings and elves for the show.
Once made comfortable, it was explained to them that Ummite society was Salic with a God, emperors, kings and noble generals. Here, there were only generals and nobles guarding Tyrant, but mostly the ship. Tyrant could of course survive the absolute vacuum.
The number of horns showed the order of the hierarchy and only Tyrant could have 3 pairs.
The kings and emperors had 2 horns and the nobles and generals had one pair of horns. These were the horns of dragons in other worlds... and this was the fate of Carnage's young... as they grew to the required size.

Mondeville understood the Ummite scheme and system... harsh and cruel with Tyrant... his name linked to his title. The Ummite tyranny!!!!
Quickly, after the introductions, Tyran offered a single audience per life...Bored already by the lost time, he then moved things forward.
Tyrant returned to normal size, easier to communicate.
After kneeling, the living "God" ordered the general to stand up.
Tyrant: "General Mondeville... I am listening."
"Lord God of the Ummites, it is an honor to be part of your empire. We are but a handful of survivors and we have received your sheep slain by Carnage..."
Tyrant: "But you have accepted the hospitality of the 'Beast' and I sincerely believe that you owe this hellish creature a debt of life. But the Ummite people will make amends by integrating you into the empire. Never again will you die and old age will be a bad memory but in return, your births will be very limited..."
The general swallowed his saliva. seeing that nothing is free, even from a God..
"Thank you Lord Tyrant for giving us the floor... But we are soldiers and the elite of our almost extinct race and we would like to join your armed forces to serve you even better..."
Tyrant... "all your soldiers are here? Yes!!! I see... then the rest is useless....If you want to join our army and be knighted, I want you to slaughter all the remaining humans... don't worry... the artifact will be activated as soon as the ceremony is over... I want to see your determination to serve me in deeds. not in words.."
Mondeville added. "The Vespalians have an army and will attack you.
This made Tyrant laugh... then, with a gesture, he dismissed everyone to the shuttles.
He then gathered his entire armada around the artifact and ordered that the rune including the humans be engraved... but also the transfer of souls... without anyone knowing.
He was amused by this dramatic comedy, and all these visitors were just puppets making a spectacle of themselves.
Then, withdrawing, he went to see his "protégés" in the eternal ice. The dragonets were frozen except for their heads and they were crying... sleeping and crying after their mommy and daddy. Tyran waited for their horns to grow but Darkia watched over them. But any intervention would draw Tyran in, and he would do as Darkia did, altering reality as he pleased. And so he was only vulnerable for a brief moment, the time to go to sleep, to dream, and to get the desired results. And these dreams consumed the vital essence of the souls pumped out during the resurrections. Such were his powers as a primordial "God". But he was only a shadow... a poorly made copy, a sample, a test of the true primordial gods... devoured by ENKA...
Tyrant then ordered the destruction of the hive and its army...
3 corvette bombers broke away from the fleet and the bombs fell on the structure which collapsed.
Many bladders and elves tied up in cardboard Vespalians were annihilated...
The cardboard tanks... went up in smoke and the fuel and oxidizer tank for the Doom exploded, lifting the entire floor and marking the success of the bombing.

There was blood everywhere and the Ummites' scanners confirmed a hit, comparing the traces of living beings before and after...
The Vespalians, far from being stupid, had already left with their dwarf and Kobold allies.
An hour later the corvette captains confirmed the destruction of the nest.
It was a radical example of rebel extermination.
Atrocious music was played for the event, but it was appreciated by the Ummites, sounding a bit like solar flares, so it was atrocious to our ears but a delight to them.
In case of an external attack, the ships were to regroup and offer protection. But with the rebel army defeated, there was no other order than protocol.
The guests remained on the cruiser ship in orbit, but Mondeville had the privilege of staying with his most loyal soldiers aboard the flying palace.
The ship resembled a Greco-Roman galley-with the look of a Japanese galleon, the cannons,
It was a ceremonial but very functional ship.
Meanwhile, Darkia camouflaged the DOOM as best she could and launched a small meteorite, well a pointer, covered with stone and looking like a small pebble. All under a reduction spell. So, a stone from space and the trajectory was not to collide with anything.
And I was getting ready for the fireworks.
The remaining humans, about 300 people, left for the woods, leaving everything behind so as not to arouse any suspicion, on the pretext that the light of the city spoiled the view of all those ships orbiting the celestial body, the artifact.
The elves also followed and dispersed, some wanting to stay, and others wanting to follow the soldiers and their families.
Many felt betrayed when they were asked to give up their armor, possessions, gold, the most precious gems and throw them into the gaping hole in the temple.
Then to conclude, on their knees, by shedding all the blood they could without dying.
Of the 49500 elves... only 500 followed the general, more out of loyalty than religion, but they felt that something was wrong.
The next moment, the 500 evaporated, disappeared... which caused panic on the ground. But the Ummites were busy elsewhere.
I was in my base and saw that 500 elves and 300 humans arrived via the darkness in one of the huge rooms of the spared area.
From there, they could see on a giant screen the operations in progress.
Vespalian Mantises were around me, but especially the Kobolds dragons.
"It is time to finish all this!. Is the palace ship out of range?"
The black fairy was aboard the Doom and had launched the pointer.
"According to our telemetry, it is out of range. "
me: Good... we have a minute!
In the center of the village, there was the river, but the bottom was false in places and revealed an unfathomable abyss.
Black Fairy: "There will be many victims!!!!"
I sighed and assumed my role as Enka's son.. it was all vermin and tame beings . The Hans in me agreed... My children first!! we can always rebuild afterwards... but not without my children...
Me "Exterminate these bastards!"
The power sent from my underground base to the runic cannon was sent and the whole structure came to life. And... in a few moments, faster than Tyrant could enter a trance and alter reality, the monstrous cannon surfaced.
Its barrel was almost a kilometer long and almost as much in diameter.
The ground shook, like an earthquake, causing the river to overflow, and the lake in the center, tons of water ravaging the surrounding gardens and windows.
Thousands of fully charged rune stones were just waiting to spit their energy towards their target... the little meteorite... the pointer...
It was an entirely new weapon developed by my genius... The draconic magic unknown to the Ummites...
By the time the alarm was raised and they saw the gun pointed at them, precious minutes were needed to begin an evasive maneuver. But it was too late.
The equivalent of a dozen tsar bombs was concentrated on one point and released a destructive fire. A sort of very powerful gamma ray, causing nuclear reactions on impact and wiping out any electronic or artificial intelligence system.
The ray of death.
The sky lit up on impact, the resulting fireball encompassing the entire fleet, the flagship and the artifact.
In an instant...millions of lives were destroyed...sacrificed for Enka the Destroyer, the Destroyer...
The mothership curved as if in space-time but broke like a plate and melted away, leaving only an armored outer shell.
The debris accelerated to near light speed and punctured all the cruisers and their shields, so active only twisted and broke the structures, revealing the interior to the flames of hell.
Some were more fortunate and were ejected, but the occupants almost all ended up like eggs inside a crate...dropped. They burst under the G's.
But the most terrible thing was for the 49,000 elves... and the delegations in the palace cruiser. It was a bit out of the way, but the blast was devastating and cracked the hull and knocked out the engines, causing an uncontrollable fire and a direct fall to earth.
Like a flaming torch, it slid like a stone and the friction of the superheated air from the unshielded re-entry turned the ship into a kind of pressure cooker and it crashed into the sea where it sank immediately, leaving no survivors.
The entire Ummite fleet was vaporized but many cruisers remained, badly damaged and those who could rushed to save the artifact but it was too late...it was falling and starting to glow.
Tyrant stood up in disbelief and for the first time...he was afraid. He didn't even know who his enemy was...and it wasn't a male dragon capable of such deceit...
"Launch shuttles and raze that cannon to the ground!" he ordered... and hundreds of shuttles left the belly of the burning cruisers and his own palace...
"NO... BUT!!! " and he headed for the throne to sleep and reverse the reality of things but he felt something was wrong...
TIME!!! time was forbidden to him...
"ENKA... It's you... you came to finish the job you monster!!!"

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

The outside world now slowly unfolds. ------------------------------------------------- BTW, since the review title wasn't edited. I have to say, my work is not a poem compilation. I'm writing fiction. But I'm not a writer, I'm just a reader. :) P.s ------------------------------------------------- Story Progress: 1. Blurb is fulfilled on Chapter Three and Chapter Four 2. Story Arc One, The Savior is fulfilled on Story Arc Five 3. Yes, there is fighting scenes. Three Calamities have been Eliminated in Dandia -- The wide island. 4. The prologue is nearing to begin. 5. Too many conflicts. ------------------------------------------------- Past tense - When I just narrate a past without much actual actions. I mean like a news, or just telling or reporting the past. Present tense - Current event. And flashback with actions. I love flash fiction so world building is not on this story, like narrating a room, narrating a character's traits, etc. As possible, I want them to think, have their decision, etc. etc. etc. etc. Hallo guys, Help me locate my typos on Story Arc 5. I still don't want to edit Story Arc 1-4. I can't wait to reach story arc Chapter Six(I won't spoil). My outlines and very huge flowcharts are waiting. Sorry, about that, I can understand English without format so, each time I'm looking for typos I was hooked in my story and I didn't realize I forgot about them.
