We ended up staying in the inn for the night, Miko wouldn’t let me get two rooms again, which made the other people in the inn look at me with either disgust or jealous, a lone male in a room with three rather developed girls would be enough to make anyone envy of me. The four bed bedroom and five dinners came out to cost us 1 Silver shark coin, rather expensive if you ask me, Vnaa wanted to sleep in my bed, that’s why we only got the four bed bedroom.

“Master Udon, what is the plan today?” Miko asked making her bed neat, I still hadn’t told them I wanted to hunt down Neptune and kill him

“Hmm, we might as well level up while we are on this floor, what level does it say you should be around before we take the boss on?” I asked putting on my boots

“Hmm, let me see, it says the level recommendation is 37” 37!? Miko had the highest level of us all at 18, the rest of us were at 17, but 37! Thats 20 levels higher than we were, surly we won’t have to spend that much time on this floor

“That is quite higher than we currently are Hero Udon, do you think it’ll take long to get to that point?” Serena asked, she had dropped a fair amount of levels when she became my slave, but it was her choice to remain my slave, she had mentioned me not trusting her if she didn’t have that slave crest on her, which was true but still, that’s a cray reason to be wanting to stay a slave.

“We could go to the other town on this floor Sir Udon, they have a shop called ‘The Gambling Fox’ I wonder what that is” I had totally forgot there was two towns on this floor, still, I had to be teleported to this floor by Archey to avoid the Town Guards, I didn’t want to go back in a prison cell.

“I believe it’s a casino, you bet money on silly little games and if you win you get more money” Serena told Umi, those two seemed to get along, well, better than Miko and Serena anyway

“We’ll have breakfast and head out into the forest, we should try and level up quick, I don’t want to stay on this floor for to long” The leading Guild of this floor was the Adventures Guild, which meant Neptune had a fair amount of power on this floor, it did say the God Nino De Atocha lived on this floor, I had heard a couple of people refer him to as Nino in town.

“Sounds good” The girls said in unison, we headed out the room with our gear and towards the inns bar, I’d rather camp out than spend another whole Silver Shark coin, we weren’t hurting for money, but we still didn’t have a lot of it. If Ragar didn’t but those ointments off me, we might had been in trouble, we currently had 10 Bronze Brown Bear coins, 2 Silver Shark coins and 6 Golden Tigre Coins.

“The food sure isn’t varied around here” Umi said taking a mouthful of Karluo fruit, I had to agree with her, majority of our dinners had been unicorn-rabbit stew with stale bread

“It’s the same situation as Jot and the others, the Guilds hire people who have the basic cooking skills but don’t ever upgrade them, so they are stuck cooking the same dish over and over again” Miko told Umi, I wonder if that’s the same for all the floors? I was still considering my idea to charge people to upgrade their skills, it seems like I would make a killing with it, I could even charge them extra SP along with money, that would make it easier for me to unlock more skills, yes, yes, that would be quite the business plan, I wouldn’t have to lift a finger and I could get all the SP I want along with a butt load of coin

“Papa Udon is thinking something bad again” Vnaa pointed her wooden spoon at me,

It would make sense, no owner would want their slave to be over powered, they might even be able to break the slave crest if they were that much stronger than their owner.

“Fine, I guess we need to try and get some skills unlocked for you, are you all done?” I got up and slung the backpack over my shoulder

“Yep all done” Vnaa smiled at me showing her empty bowl

“Nice Umi!” Serena shouted out, we had been fighting in the volcano area of the floor, there was a lot of Fire baboons which Umi killed almost instantly

“Master Udon, there’s one coming from those rocks over there” Miko pointed just to my right, I saw a large Fire Baboon with its fangs baring charging right for me

“Awesome there’s something I want to try, girls get behind something” I duplicated my Ghost Seed and created a Grenade seed

“Wargh!” The hell was that? The Fire Baboon made some weird grunt as it lunged towards me. It had its mouth wide open, their teeth are sharper than the baboons on earth and it’s fire covered tail swayed in the air causing a scary sight.

“Perfect” I jumped towards the lunging monster and threw the Grenade Seed into its mouth, I rolled across the ground as I land and started running towards a rock, I jumped behind it and saw the Fire Baboon trying to grab the seed from out of its mouth, it had already swallowed it though

The Grenade seed exploded causing chunks of the monster to go flying over the place, the other defeated Fire Baboons got caught up in the blast and also went all over the place, it was a real mess of a scene, I didn’t really think it through.

“What the hell! I killed it and I still don’t get the most exp, I call rigged” I peeked over the rock to see the carnage of my Grenade seed, I upped the gun powder in the seed to 5 rather than 3.

“Wow” Umi and Serena said looking at the destroyed area, Miko on the hand…

“What in the hell is wrong with you! What were you even trying to do! Do you have any idea how dangerous that was! You heard the Gem this morning, people are looking out for explosion like this and you made one even bigger! You even destroyed all the monster corpse’s, we can’t harvest them now!” Miko was beyond angry, she did make some fair points, but I really wanted to see if the explosion would hurt any of us

“What were you trying to do!” Miko wasn’t dropping it

“You should, monster meat is a lot more tastier than the animal meat, and not many players bother unlocking the skill because they are the ones that have to cook the meat”

“Hang on, who has the skill here?” I don’t remember anyone of us having the skill, I looked around and none of them put their hand up, I knew it

“The skill is 63 SP, is it really worth that much?”

“I think it is, besides, there aren’t that much animals on the volcanic mountain, monster meat is far more easier to obtain, it will also help us when we go to higher floors.” Serena said sitting down against a boulder

“Wait, how do you know what monster meat tastes like? If you don’t have the skill how can you eat it?”

“Before I had your slave crest, I could eat monsters without a problem, I’m assuming the same can be said for Miko” I looked at Miko who nodded her head to me

“Fine, if you really think its worth it than we’ll unlock the skill” I caved, I was starting to get real hungry, I had fought monsters all morning and hadn’t even levelled up, I was already frustrated, I didn’t need hangry to be mixed in with it.

I unlocked the Basic Monster Chief skill, it merged with my Basic Animal Chief skill and became Basic Chief, Umi and Miko went out and brought back two dead Fire Baboons, I cooked them up and my mastery grew another level.

“This is rather tasty Master Udon” The girls all nodded at Miko’s remark

“I didn’t do much, the Ghost Seed is the one to thank” I had made salt, pepper and other spices and condiments with the seed, we were only have Roast Fire Baboon but the spices jazzed it up a bit

“Over there!” I heard a girls squealing voice in the distance

“What’s that?” Umi asked, we all stood up to see a group of people coming our way

“His also the one that burned the town down on the fifth floor! Neptune told us so!” What the hell did he just say!

“Arrr! His coming for me!” I took a couple steps forward towards the girl, she ran off in a panic

“Leave our children alone you criminal!” The old man shouted again, I saw the girl run behind a wealthy looking man, she saw me glare and her and poked her tongue out at me with a grin. Why you little shit!

“Your crimes are visible for all to see, come with us now so you can be trialed” The townspeople shouted in unison, damn it! I’ll kill that worthless man of a god!
