Snow falls, it's cold outside

Tears freeze, my hands shake

Why do I feel this way during a time

where I'm supposed to be happy?

December, a month I'll always remember

The time where battles begun

Where I cried so hard at night

And I felt like I was dying

There are so many memories

So much trauma

Too much heartbreak

And too many silent screams

War broke out in my body,

between the heart and mind

The demons wouldn't shut up, it made me go insane

But when we opened presents, a smile was on my face

December, a month I'll always remember

Times where it was hard to breathe

Moments where I appeared to be fine

A time where I was dying inside

and I didn't think I would survive...
