《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 262: Creed in Comic-Con I

As 'Fanboy' drifted along the crowd and wow-ed at what he saw... he eventually got some of the gists of the entire event.
Of course, he also formed a preliminary map of the entire venue as well, so it was only a matter of time before he reaches his goal.
In any case, Comic-Con does have a lot of sights and attractions and him being somewhat lost was the convention's fault and not his.
As straightforward as the entire layout is... it is still confounding to navigate when you are drawn to every sight that you see.
By the time that 'Fanboy' got through all that he could go through, he eventually arrived at the section that he wanted.
From all the major forums, panels, and show or film-catering areas... he eventually got to the Creed area that he longed to see.
And... oh boy... wasn't it quite the sight?!
-----
Even though Creed and its properties were way too young compared to the rest that is prevalent in this convention, it was still one of the prime spots to go to!
A lot of factors made them stand out in this industry and a lot of people know about the whole lot of it.
Of course, a lot of factors made them stand out in this convention as well... and 'Fanboy' can't wait to seam through and soak in all of them!
It wasn't going to be an easy task though... because the entire Creed area was packed and it is going to take a lot of fanboypower to bulldoze through the crowd.
Still, he was motivated to do it... and you can bet that he will!
-----
As soon as he reached the closest Creed booth or panel... the usual comic books that should be prevalent in an event like a 'Comic Convention' wasn't there!
Instead... what 'Fanboy' saw, along with the rest of the Creed section stragglers, was a grand assortment of toys!
It was the acclaimed Creed Toys that are bunched to their specific and respective comic titles.
From Dragonball down to the latest Back to the Future film project, it was a surprising sight that was no less than how Creed Toys debuted so many months ago!

It truly was a level up to it... because aside from the new Creed installments, it also had advancements to the old ones as well.
For people who closely followed the Creed Toys catalog and also were up to date with Creed Comics' stories... they can tell which was which.
There were a lot of new nuances to Dragonball toys as characters had their own progressions as well.
Bulma's toy selection had pretty much matched her Capsule tech. Then, there were the last arc characters that hadn't really been given their toys yet.
Like Chichi, her father, and so on and so forth.
For the most import... there's Goku in an orange gi with a character on his chest and back that is meant to say 'Hermit'.
This toy had ditched the original blue gi in place of the Goku that is now learning from Master Roshi. Of course, there was the hateful bald Krillin toy right beside him as well... as they were both disciples of the Turtle Hermit in the new arc.
Upon closer inspection... the Goku toy is also without its signature monkeyboy tail as this was the only solution against Gorilla Goku's rampage after all.
It had to be said that Gorilla Goku or Great Ape was considered one of the most shocking events in comic history by many... and it was right there with the acclaimed Dragonball wish being used for panties!
In true Creed Toys' fashion... it had toys depicting those moments. With Oolong toys having the wasteful panties on their heads.
It was quite impressive how they were able to achieve the panties-draped-in-head look despite it being a plastic toy. Creed Toys' acclaimed attention to detail was not without merit!
Of course... what's more impressive is the Dragonball figurines that could very well not be toys anymore.
Far away from Comic-Con goers' reach... there actually were 2 Great Ape Goku figurines that are in relative size to the Goku toys!
A lot of people practically gulped at the sight of these 2 Gorilla Goku behemoths!
Who in their right mind approved the production of these baby Gorilla-sized toys?

Also... who would even buy these things?
The last one was a stupid question though as a lot of Dragonball gi-costume folks were already haranguing the Creed representative in charge of the Dragonball displays.
'Fanboy' could pretty much hear them shouting bucks of numbers and trying to one-up each other as if it was some bidding war.
He also wanted to partake but he was too poor compared to these excited folks. Besides, the representative hadn't really clarified whether Creed will accept their show of money or not.
Of course, the shocking Gorilla Goku "statues" aside... what was quite mysterious was the mysterious screen in between them.
It was literally just a wide TV monitor like most people had at home... but being placed in between two shocking statues must mean something!
The circulating rumors about Creed making a big splash at this Comic-Con was all the more becoming believable.
-----
With smart positioning, 'Fanboy' eventually got himself to reach the front of the Dragonball viewing crowd.
After waiting for his chance against the "statue bidders", he got to ask his question to the representative. "Excuse me! But what is that television set for?!"
"All I can say is that its Dragonball-related." The Creed representative answered while also taking this chance to put in what he had long wanted to say. "Also... the Great Ape Goku's would stay put until the very last day of the convention, so it is completely unavailable as of today! Please don't waste your words with the bidding you drummed out of nowhere. You're pretty much just advertising to everyone how much you're carrying!"
"I advise you to just practice patience and maybe just turn your attention to the other toys on display!" The Creed representative was probably bottling up his frustration and wasn't really expecting these kinds of enthusiasm from a lot of people.
He was previously just the headquarters-type after all... and he now knew what comic book store owners and retailers had to deal with whenever they release an exciting new product.
Of course, he was paid to do his job... so he must do it. He didn't really want to announce this now but he may as well do it to help himself.
"Also... if you didn't know... there are Dragonball toys here, aside from Great Ape Gokus, that are only exclusively sold at this event. You might not want to miss out on that!"
"What do you mean by exclusive at this event?" Fanboy really had a knack for asking straightforward questions to Creed employees. From Creed Store clerk to Creed Comic-Con representatives, perhaps he could make a career out of it.
"Well... there are specific toys here that won't be mass-produced to the market." The Creed representative really didn't expect that he'd be explaining things when 'exclusive' is right in his words. "Right here on this event... there would be a toy design/designs that would only have 100 units or 10 units in existence. It's just up to your luckiness or smarts to find out which is which! A limited edition as my boss would say!"
Well, that really didn't help out the Creed representative's case of being overwhelmed!
He may have gotten rid of the overbearing bidders but he was now up against the entire riled-up crowd.
It clearly didn't help that he said 'limited edition' and had 'boss' in his words.
'Limited edition' just meant rare and 'boss' just meant Alexander Creed. How could these passionate Creed fans not be hyped up by that?!
An excitement bubbled up in the whole lot of them, extending to the rest of the Creed area!
A hubbub grew from that... and the rumored Creed splash may have just begun!
Of course, with all that had happened, it was clear that Creed was finally in Comic-Con!

New kingdoms expand as the old decay. This is a story of those who lived in the times of change. Dear Reader, Thank you for stopping by! This is my first attempt at writing something of more substantial length and would be incredibly grateful to receive feedback and advice. The plan is to post at least a chapter a week and more if I find time. Also, in order to not disappoint any expectations; the story plays in a fictional world reminiscent of the real world 17th to 19th century with some supernatural elements, but no obvious magic or game-like system.

Three Hundred Years After The End Of The World
Three hundred years after the end of the world as humanity knew it, the gears of an old plan slowly begin to move again, as a group of self-imposed reincarnators, along with their equally unlikely companions, gather once again to set things right... but does the world they plan to restore need, or even want, their help? Follow the misadventures of an eclectic bunch of genius misfits as they attempt to assemble and fix the world they accidentally devastated in the past. ~~~ Author's note: This is actually the first volume of a novel I wrote nearly a decade ago for the VNDB discussion boards, taking inspiration from the random off-topic ramblings that characterized the golden age of the community. After sevear years and countless rewrites, it is pretty much unrecognizable, but while it is not fit for professional publishing (due to the fact that several fragments and older versions are still out there on various forums and blogs), I decided it is a waste to just let it sit idly on my hard drive forever. As such, I decided to share it somewhere where people could maybe appreciate it, so here it is.
