You know, every human has a nice perk, intellegence. I don't know too much about them, but beasts only have mastery that they can gain on their own. But beasts aren't real 'things' exactly, they're made through mana, not having true souls. Meaning that their minds are constrained to a certain degree, I think? Erebus has been showing adapt learning ability, without problems to do with that, and the others are just to dumb to test.
What perks do humans have? I asked to myself so many times, a lot of times with all my free time. I came up with all types of answers. Adaptabilty? Numbers? HIgh mana levels? Courage? Fear? Evil potential?
I came up with the answer today, dispairity or potential. All humans can be between trash and supreme talent, they have no real 'limits', only suggestions to stop growing. If they wish to with all their might they could even slay a god, it isn't that hard with 'gods' not being real gods. They're just born of chaos instated into an elemental origin, they're dependant on believers to live, but starving them is only one of many ways to kill one.
I won't say I'm the most talented person in reality, I'm not that arrogant, alright. But I've seen real dispairity in the making, those two children, then were taken out with just a punch and a kick. Appearantly they aren't allowed to get beasts until they're nine, so I couldn't feed them to Erebus, which was sad with how weak they were.
And this red hair is the pinnacle of idiocy, something about hair color making us who we are? I didn't really listen, and was planning on making sure not to kill her. Can't be too safe, actually, you can.
"Trash," I said disdainfully "That little speech about how your red hair 'Signifying' something, I'll do it better." I walked ontop of the red head's reeling body "Black is the color of emptyness, it overpowers all things in the end, slowly biding it's time until ruin can take hold. It is unkillable, always reapearing no matter what you try. Eternal, if you will. But it is also the color of the void, origin of all things. From the emptyness chaos expands outward, unlimited by rules or reason. Creating myth and destroying legends at the same time, that is what black reprisents, that is a fragment of who I am. For hair color does not decide who we are! We grow from our experiences, our lives! Your talent and bloodline alone will never make you reach a point all wish to stand at, the 'Pinnacle', no matter how large a fantasy it might be to reach. I am limitless like all humans, just not ready to take the first step to eternity. But preparing for it, unlike worthless filth like you, which will stagnate at the 'top of the duchy' or something."

I didn't need preperation or me wanting more prestige, at a certain point you just don't care anymore. I'm so far above my peers that I could kill them all with a punch, I never even used a sword or a skill. My pure disdaid could make a small speech about their idoicy, no need for refined speech, no one was worthy of it anyways.
I walked to a kid that stood straight, I punched him in the gut "Why aren't you prostrating yourself, arrogance breeds insolence. And I can't have that, could I?" A complete change in tone and poise, a straight back and a confident tone instead of casual equality with all. These trash don't deserve my act, they should just bow down to their ruler.
I walked to a family pair I saw, the kid was familiar. Etome suspect 1! She was drawing something with a low-quality quill and I was interested in the three year old's creation, so I snatched it away from the unsuspecting girl's hands and looked at it. Anime, I gave my review immeadiately "Not to bad, but your doing your weird style a little too 'pasionately' to make something beyond that."
I took out a quill, a good one, since I have that. Skin a bird, and a free quill comes to you! "First you need to get a basic model of the face, oval is best, not this weird square. Then you need to create a basic cross through it in a symmetrical way to get the proportions right, since this is a sketch it isn't a problem to use ink, the mouth can be the basic curved line with a piece of it missing. The eyes can be more refined version of what you used, the hair can be added on later, and the body. Let's keep it basic without anything extra, so no clothes or pervy bits. Let's keep the limbs nutral for add-ons at a later date, should I give it a sword? Actually, I'm drawing quite well, maybe I should make a dragon or something? That's a way better use of my time."
I dropped the note book with complete abondon, who cares about that anyways? The school day's over, and I got insperation for dragons now! Let's do that dream star dragon! Yea, that's a great use of my time! Not like I've got better shit to do. The little student guide seemed to try and stop me "Hey stop right there! What makes you think you can do that to a talent?"
I punched him in the gut "This." It didn't leave a bloody hole, but a decompression did happen, I actually tried to punch this time "Weakling, even if you had the same bloodline as me you'd still be trash before me. The name's Able, my dad's name is Duke." The guide started to tremble with fear, a good trash that knew his name.
I turned around after a few steps "Minion! Ask around for the two shits I beat up in a duel and tell them to go to my house for a visit, I need to teach them what a true noble is." I walked out the door and walked out, towards my house. I have a note book, more like a giant empty book and scroll box, got a bunch.
First the base sketch with circles to set up proportions, no that's wrong, another! Good! Second is the connecting lines, this was easy. Third is making it a bit more 'Natural' and 'Real', remember, each stage needs to be redone on it's own since ink isn't eraseable right now. Third went well, I'm quite talented, aren't I? Fashion sense still needs some help though... Wait... Classic thing forgotten, gold chain! Put a chain on my pants! Make it fall down like a parable, fashion sense temperarily aquired! Call it up through a servant.

What was I doing again? Painting would be good I guess, I have some paints around. Wait... I was drawing a dragon with ink, why was I doing that? I'm sure I have some charcoal around somewhere. So dumb, forgetting such things "Ugh, I'll feel better after grinding some nice essence again, wonder what level my sweet baby is at now. Oh! Level fifty! Great! Elder drake, here I come!"
I looked behind me and the stupidity duo "Luna! Get over here right now!" I called for the slave girl, like any good slave owner would!
I saw her reluctantly walk over, I said like a parent coaxing a child "Luna." She pouted, and I stopped being a nice person "How dare you pout! Do you have any idea how annoying that is! And trauma, PTSD to be exact." I turned from emotional central into dark and cold king mode at the drop of the hat "Hey!" I said with a happy tone "Do you see that corner over there?" I asked sweetly with cold dead eyes, Luna nodded, not yet realizing 'cold' me came out "Go sit there like the dim child you are, come back to me when you know what you did wrong." I said in a cold tone, filled with disdain.
She started to shake and jitter, with an obvious fear of me disliking her. I'm litterally the only one that cares for her slightly more than roadkill, like her emotional anchor, you understand what would happen when you feel you might lose it. Don't know if she loves me though, don't care to much either. Love+emotional anchor makes her more dependant on my aproval and lets me play with her body when she's older, but I don't really care about that. It's better, way better in those regards, but I'd still be happy if I was only an emotional anchor.
I snapped back my head to the two women, they were beautiful for their age, not yet developed enough to be deserving of a passing glance of mine, which will be their peak since they're not my 'type'. And, I've seen my fair share of 'sexy' in my life, sexy is just sex. Which would be their only use to me, and... I've had enough of that already. As 'sex-slaves', they'd be great. They look good and they're prideful, good for the feeling of domination. But I had enough of sex when I had the power to make one, luckily escorts have more things than just sex. Like how I always wanted a child that wasn't trash, I bought some kid with good qualities to put my son in his place. After which I put him high up in the corperate ladder for how much better his work ethic was than I thought, a child that only worked hard if there was a purpose, unlike me who tried to make the most out of every second due to my fear of lacking time at every moment, again. I had a messed up childhood.
Anyways... "Ah! Good that you're here! I've been needing training dummies for my beasts, it just isn't the same when you're using a tree to practice skills, I hope you understand." I said in a refined way, after which completely throwing away the nice aditude and becoming the true noble inside "Not like I care for the thoughts of vermin."
I picked the both of them by the neck and threw them to the great horde of 100 & 1 dyntiles {Bob! Have fun and make sure not to kill them, no other restrictions} This was the best use I could think for them, this was their new home anyways. I should be able to get a few commoners under my command later, not like I care enough about it. Just one of the many things about nobles have it over commoners, I'm supposed to scour through the classes and at the end of the week who to become my 'Retainer', it's more of a S-class thing though. But if a commoner came into S-class they definently wouldn't be able to do that.
I started to berate them for their weakness "How could you be pushed down so much!? How trashy are you?" "I can't believe you're considered talented!" "Are you still in a dillusion? You're a weakling!" After which I just enjoyed their screams of pain, I even saw them with broken legs once, it was befiting of their trashy disposition.
Luna walked over with her answers "First... It was considering the two of them good enough for even the slightest bit of interest of yours." I nodded proudly with a small smile "Second... It was the pout." I nodded grimly, as if remembering a horrific war story, it was just my mother beating me though. Which was still worse than the average torture at the time, you don't get PTSD easily, ok!
The next day... "I challenge you to a duel! If I win you will free those poor girls!" Xerxes was here! The dumb kid that didn't bribe me like a good boy "Then bet something of equal value, trash."
Xerxes gritted his teeth "If you win I'll give you my lion!" I paused, he took his beast everywhere unlike me who just had one that was too large to walk with right now. It was light element, 1st rank, must've been taken from some royal line of lions. It seemed to have a certain edge my other beasts except Erebus lacked, determination. But what I said shocked him "Those two are worth way less than that lion, they are valued at less than piece of shit on the road side. But I won't reject your generous donation to my cause. But let me get my main beast too, wait until then like a lion cub waiting for its mother to come home with the food."

Rise of a Scarlet Devil (Regular+Draft Version)
A young girl slain during a war was brought back to life by some unknown force millennia later. She could only remember a vague face within her memories, uncertain as to who it was but there was one thing she did know. She needed to kill that person. But she was too weak, she needed to hide, to grow. She needed to flee from the battlefield her enemy reigns over. And to do so, she needed to run eastward, towards Helios, a safe haven for those who have lost their homes in the war. And where she would grow to become the strongest Hunter under her own strength. What was it that brought her back? Only time will tell. #Author's Note The novel is organized like this:Regular Chapters (Act, Title, Part (ranging from 1 to 9))Draft Chapter DisclaimerDraft Chapters (Entry Number, Perspective, Title, Part (ranging from i to ii)) Regular chapters are edited chapters that reflect the story aspect more while Draft chapters reflect plot progression more. An occasional interactive chapter will appear in the drafts but nowhere in the regular chapters. Expect changes when reading between Regular and Draft chapters as some events in the story may change in length or entirely removed/changed. Only read the draft version if you want a future view and/or opinion on the story and design elements. The main character is a human from a fantasy world reincarnated as a devil. The story possesses Reincarnators, Transmigrators, and Summoned Persons. though mainly focusing on Magic and other abilities such as Aura and Skills. Wizards (those who prepare arcane spells) and Mages (those who use elemental magic) are separate but seen as the same by common inhabitants of the world but clearly defined as different by more influential persons and by the circles themselves. The main character WILL not be a Mage or Wizard but will incorporate mana into her attacks to aid her as does any high-rank combatants. The system in the novel quantifies a person's abilities and keeps record of them but does not define natural ability, occasionally granting special abilities as skills to a person once prerequisites are met. There is no leveling system and no occupational systems in the novel featuring only a stat based and skill based system. Also, this novel is my first and will most likely be trash.
