《The Adventurer's Academy》Spirit Orchestra, Part Eight

{Xhez}
Just an hour later, the sprite and the singer were wrapped in each other's arms, naked, at June's hotel. Rin walked back to the Academy on her own, telling Xhez that she hoped she enjoyed her night. Xhez didn't think there was much doubt that she would. The only issue was that, unfortunately, this was going to be far shorter than she wished it could be. That didn't stop her from trying to enjoy the present moment as much as she could, however.
As June spread her legs out in front of her, Xhez's tongue dove between them to try to elicit that feeling she'd managed to produce in the other woman the last time they'd met.
[Is this the sort of thing you can get better at?] She wondered as she licked away at her.
Now that she'd done this a few times, she began to notice some patterns. The way June moaned loudly, the strange scent that filled the air, the way her heart beat rapidly. All of this, coupled with the warmth that flowed throughout her body, made this activity addicting.
[Would Rin make these same sounds?] She asked herself as June let out a loud "FUCK." [I would like to see that.]
Xhez flinched when the singer's hands went to the back of her head, landed on her sensitive hair, and pulled her closer.
"U-Um," she stopped, which made June look down at her when she noticed that the sprite's tongue had detached itself from her. "Could you... refrain from touching me there?" As Xhez saw June's confused expression she added, "i-it is strange, but I... It is related to my condition."
"Oh," June replied, quickly taking her hands off of it. "Sorry."
"Do not worry!" Xhez replied with an awkward chuckle. Then, she just lowered her head and tried to get right back to it. June's moans picked up right where they left off, with the singer saying some appreciative-sounding things like, "you're so fucking good" and "your tongue is magic", which Xhez liked to hear.
Her legs wrapped around Xhez's back, locking her into place, as her sounds reached a fever pitch. And then, just a few more laps of the sprite's tongue was all it took to bring June to what Xhez had learned was called an orgasm.

Her back arched, the legs pressing down on Xhez's body pulled her a little more harshly, and when it was done, June fell onto the bed, looking exhausted. Her chest rose and fell with every breath she took as she stared at the ceiling.
Then, she asked:
"How much pussy did you eat in that forest you grew up in? You're really good at that!"
Xhez laughed.
"Really?"
"Yeah," June replied with a giggle as she turned onto her side. Xhez moved up the bed so that she could see her slightly better. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say it's almost like you worked at that brothel we met at."
That statement was what made Xhez realize what had actually been happening.
She hadn't worked at that place, but Rin had. And, it was Rin whose memories Xhez had felt, had seen, and had now emulated during this act.
"Ah, well, you have my sister to thank for that."
"... What?" June asked, raising a brow.
"Yeah, I... Ehm, I learned everything I know from her."
The face June made when she heard that made Xhez feel like she'd messed up somehow. Wide-eyed and stunned, June remained silent but her lips were parted as though she wanted to say something but couldn't think of anything.
Eventually, June asked:
"... You mean, she told you how to... do this, right? That's it?"
[Oh, right. Humans can't see memories!]
Xhez took the conversational escape route she'd just been given and made a note of not saying anything like that again.
"Yes! Yes, she told me. She spoke it, and I remembered!"
"Oh... Whoa," June laughed, then. "For a second, uh... Never mind. But, yeah, you're really good at this." Her tone changed a little when she then asked, "so... I can't return the favor, right?"
A slightly deeper, more alluring voice asked that question of Xhez, and, sadly, the sprite could only shake her head and say:
"No. My... condition prevents me from accepting that offer."
[As much as I might want to,] she added in her mind.
"I see. I... I can still kiss you though, right?"

"Yes! Yes," Xhez replied, nodding. "You can do that."
Just like that, their lips came together and June embraced her as they kissed each other.
That was it. As much as Xhez wanted to go further, and explore more of this activity with the singer, she couldn't. Unfortunately, this was a case where even if the woman knew about her being a sprite, she wouldn't be able to do it with her, as the problem was there was just no telling what would happen if they tried it. Maybe nothing would result from it, maybe Xhez would end up with a daughter of her own. It was too big a risk to take.
After that, they both got dressed and Xhez felt her Spirit beginning to dry out. She would need to get home soon, but, first, she wanted to see June off as she left the city. June, of course, wanted Xhez to be there to say goodbye as well. They rode in a car all the way to the northern gates of the city, where June's bandmates had organized transportation for her to go to her next destination.
A small caravan equipped with a few horses and carts, along with the people who June would soon be joining in boarding them, waited for the singer just by the side of the road. A few steps away, June stopped and Xhez paused as well.
"... Here we are," June stated, letting out a sigh. "Thanks for spending time with me, Xhez. I had a lot of fun," she let Xhez know as she smiled warmly at her. "Hopefully, I'll get to see you again. Though, I have no idea when that might be."
"I hope so as well," Xhez replied.
At that moment, a brief silence settled between them. They looked into each other's eyes as the cold of the nighttime air hugged their skin, and June took a step forward to place a brief peck on the sprite's lips.
As soon as it was done, she took a step back and said:
"... Alright then. I'll see you around, Xhez. May the Divine bless you."
[... The Divine?] Xhez thought, tilting her head momentarily.
"You too," Xhez replied, however, trying not to make things weird in what could be the last time she saw this woman. At least, for a while. "Goodbye."
With that, Xhez was then alone, as the woman walked over to her friends. She waved at her as she did, and Xhez waved back.
[Ah,] Xhez thought, looking away and chuckling to herself. [It is almost like the feeling I had when I left my mothers to go with Rin. How vexing. I wish she could stay for longer.]
---
Shortly after that, just as her Spirit had all but dried up and was a few seconds from timing out her spell altogether, Xhez arrived back at Rin's room. The door had been left unlocked and, as Xhez went in, she found Rin and Elisa both asleep at their respective beds, though, one of them stirred as soon as Xhez entered.
"H-Huh?" Elisa asked as Xhez stepped inside. She seemed startled, rubbing her eyes to better see who had come in.
"Hey," Xhez replied quickly. "I just... I came back. Hello."
"Oh, Xhez, shit," Elisa replied, calming down. "Did your thing go well?"
"Yes, it did."
"Good... Happy for you."
Just like that, the woman was turning over, throwing her sheet over her body, and trying to get back to sleep again.
Xhez closed the door behind her, disrobed, and allowed the spell to expire. As it did, the exhaustion of the day's activities instantly fell on top of her like those colorful blocks Rin had called "bricks" weighing down her shoulders. Once she was naked and ready, she opened her bag up, jumped, diminished her size, and landed inside of it, as she'd all but mastered at this point.
As soon as she was in the water, in that familiar space, she felt relieved.
Though, the sadness of parting with her friend, even momentarily, did not go away.
[... Maybe I will see her again soon,] Xhez thought. [I hope so.]
