"So anyway, I was wondering..." Izuku said, "Will you be taking anyone for the work-study, Gran Torino?" he asked

"You ignored me? You've turned into a big shot, huh, kid?" Gran Torino said, "Sorry, I'm working on something else right now, so I can't take care of you." he said, "Oh yeah!" he said, "You were a powerful successor at the sports festival who did get a lot of other offers, huh?" he asked

"It's because I'm a Powerful successor that I want to do everything I can to get even closer to the number one hero!" Izuku said

I'll show you how well I can use you." he said, "And then, I'll become the next leader." he said

"Sorry, Yakuza boy, we didn't come together to be under someone." Magne said unwrapping his giant magnet, Overhaul is covered in blue energy then was pulled toward Magne "I met up with my friend the other day." he said, "She's reserved and shy, but she's someone who is still my friend even knowing my past." he said, "She told me: Those who are bound by the chains of common sense laugh at those who aren't." he said

"Kennie, you're not bound by common sense." Magne's friend said, "I don't have the courage to break away from it with you." she said

"I'm here because I don't want to be bound by anything!" Magne said not knowing Overhaul is removing his glove "We will decide where we belong!" he said hitting Overhaul's head but then Overhaul touch him then Magne's upper half blow up, shocking everyone

"B-Big sis Mag!" Toga said as Magne's blood rained down onto the floor

"You all made the first move." Overhaul said, "Argh, that's filthy." he said, "That's why I hate stuff like this..." he said trying to clean Magne's blood off of him then Compress jump toward him

"Wait, Compress!" Tomura said

"This guy's trouble!" Mr. Compress said, "I'll use my Compress to seal him away." he said but then a small bullet hit him with him knowing causing his Quirk to not work "I can't use my Quirk?!" he asked

"Don't touch me!" Overhaul said blowing up Mr. Compress's arm then Tomura attacked another of the same bullet was shot but it misses Tomura "Shield!" he said then one of his lackeys appear in front of him taking Tomura's attack then he fall apart, Tomura then back away

"I see..." Tomura said then the wall behind Overhaul was destroyed revealing more of Overhaul's men "If you'd started with that, it would've been a lot easier to understand what you wanted." he said

"That was close, Overhaul." Joi Irinaka A.K.A Mimic said

"You're late." Overhaul said

"I missed a shot." Hari Kurono A.K.A Chronostasis said, "But there was enough immediate effectiveness." he said

"Wait, where did you...?" Twice said, "We weren't being followed!" he said

"It was probably someone's Quirk." Tomura said

"It'll be hard to make objective decisions like this." Overhaul said, "Right. It's unproductive to cut down each other's forces, anyway." he said, "We're even right now with one corpse on each side." he said, "It's a good time to stop." he said, "Let's cool our heads and talk again another day." he said, "We'll own you an arm." he said walking away

"It doesn't have to be right away, but the sooner the better." Overhaul said, "Think carefully... about your own organization and stuff." he said throwing a card "Give me a call once you've calmed down a bit." he said then leave with his men

"Wait, you bastard!" Twice said, "Why did you stop me, Shigaraki?" he asked

"Jin, more importantly, take Atsuhiro to the doctor." Toga said

"Can you stand?" Twice asked

"My Quirk... wouldn't come out..." Mr. Compress said, "Damn, that hurts!" he said

"Tomura, I'll cut those guys." Toga said

"No." Tomura said

"Tomura?" Toga asked

"Not yet." Tomura said, "You failed again, huh, Tomura?" Tomura think back to what All For One said, "But do not be discouraged." he said, "Just start over." he said, "Start Over as many times as you need to." he said, "That's why I'm here." he said, "Everything is for you." he said

Meanwhile, at Tartarus All For One is smiling on his cell

"You need a plan in order to achieve your goal." Overhaul said, "And I have a plan." he said

"Shie Hassaikai..." Tomura said, "I'll demand a lot in repayment for this..." he said

"About the hero work studies that are like a more serious version of the internships, where you go to where Pro Heroes work and help them... " Aizawa explained, "We talked about them at our faculty meeting yesterday, and almost all the teachers, including the principal, thought you shouldn't do them." he finish

"WHAT!!???" Everyone in the class yelled

"After we had that big meeting about it?" Eijiro asked

"But thinking about why we ended up in the dorms, I guess that makes sense..." Denki said while playing with Ojiro's tail

"Just because you probably wouldn't be able to participate...." Parad said sweatdropping

"But some think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with our current policies, so we came to the decision that first years will only be allowed to go to agencies with a good track record of accepting work-study students." Aizawa explained which pissed off Bakugo

"I wonder if Gunhead's place will work..." Ochaco said

"Maybe I'll try contacting Selkie..." Tsuyu said

"Damn it!" Bakugo yelled angry that he could do the Work-study

'An agency with a good track record of accepting work-study students...' Izuku thought

"Don't you think All Might can introduce you to a bunch of people?" Gran Torino asked, "For example, his former sidekick..." he said

Later, Izuku went to meet with All Might

"You want me to introduce you to Sir Nighteye for a work-study?" All Might asked

"Yes! He's one of the few heroes who has worked under you!" Izuku said but All Might shhh him

"Sir Nighteye, huh?" All Might asked, "Where did his name come up?" he asked and Izuku tell him, "I see... You wanted to get a head start on the work studies, so you called Gran Torino, huh?" he asked

"Please!" Izuku asked

"I refuse." All Might said, "I'm not saying that to be mean." he said, "There are three reason: 1. In the meeting yesterday, I opposed the work studies. I think first years don't necessarily have to start now." he said

"I agree." Thirteen said

"Can't the school just support the kid who wants to go?" Midnight asked

"2. I think you should power up One For All before you participate." All Might said

"I think the kid's already extremely overpowering, though." Ectoplasm said

"There's still a lot of room for improvement before it can be used reliably." Cementoss said

"3. Sir Nighteye." All Might said, "There are reasons that make it hard for me to talk to him." he said

"Letting personal feeling get in the way, All Might?" Present Mic asked, "Personal feelings!" he said, "Personal feelings, personal feelings..." he said

"Mic, stop that." All Might said

"HA!" Mic said then leave

"All Might, someone like you can't always lay in the groundwork for me, and think about it, my quirk is so similar to yours, if I'm working for Nighteye, he'll know exactly how to help me improve it, I need to get so much stronger than I am now, I got more work to do then anyone." Izuku pleaded.

'Is he that impatient to succeed me, probably not but still?' All Might thought

The Big three were walking down the hallway when suddenly they heard an announcement from the speaker.

"Crazy he wants to see me, I wonder what it's about?" Mirio wondered being happy.

"Hey Togata hey, what did you do, are you in trouble or something, what gives?" Nejire asked

"What business could All Might have with you?" Tamaki asked

"I don't know, but, 'I've To-gata go see', get it?" Mirio joked with a wink as he realized that his friends weren't laughing at his joke. "Man, that was extremely unfunny, wasn't it." he said

Mirio is sitting next to Izuku and All Might is in front of him.

"Oh yeah, you are here, sorry couldn't help myself, I just got super excited you wanted to talk to me." Togata said

"Um, I don't really understand what's going on right now." Izuku said in confusion.

"Right, I'm completely clueless too." Mirio agreed

"You've met young Togata right, he's currently doing his work-study at Nighteye's agency." All Might informed

"Woah seriously, that's so cool!?" Izuku said in surprised

"Yep, I've been working with him for a year now!" Mirio explained.

"Then you're like guaranteed to become his sidekick once you graduate." Izuku said excitedly

''Well as long as Sir doesn't change his mind then, yeah." Mirio agreed

"That's awesome!" Izuku said in excitement.

"Alright, I'm going to get straight to the point here, tell me young Togata, do you think this first year has what it takes to work beside you at the agency?" All Might asked causing Izuku to get surprised.

"Oh, now I hear ya, that's what you called me in here to talk about huh, you want me to take Midoriya to him, for an introduction." Mirio realized.

"Yeah." All Might replied.

"But wait a minute, why do you have to go through me, I always see him watching old video clips of you in his spare time, I'm sure he'd be really happy if you called him up yourself." Mirio said in confusion

"I can't practically face him right now, because he was dead right, I ended up precisely where he warned me to be." All Might informed

"So, do you think, Young Midoriya has what it takes?" All Might asked

"Oh man that's a toughie, why don't you tell me what kind of hero you wanna be?" Mirio asked Izuku.

"What kind?" Izuku said as he remembered asking his mom if he could be a hero like All Might when he was little

"I want to save people with a smile and-" Izuku trailed off as he remembered how worried his mother got after the encounter with Shigaraki

"I want to be strong so I won't worry people, I want to always win and save everybody, I want to become the greatest, got it." Izuku explained

"Sometimes it's easier to organize your thoughts out loud, I've been through some intense times, and the more I see how hard it is to become the Hero I want to be, that's why I have to become stronger." Izuku narrated

"Wow, that was a lot. There's no reason for me to say 'no' though so yeah." Mirio said with a thumbs up

''You mean it, oh yeah, thank you so much." Izuky said in gratitude.

''Sure, I always figured sir would take a liking to you anyway" Mirio claimed

'I hope he does!" Izuku said in excitement.

"Don't get too excited I don't know if Sir will agree to take you on." Mirio warned as All Might watches the two and remembered the conversation talk with Nezu.

"I have no doubt that someone worthy of your power walks the hall of our fine school." Nezu said putting Mirio's file on the table.

"Mirio Togata, huh, and who is that?" All Might asked looking at the file.

"Well, his grades aren't anything special, but he certainly has a lively presence, there's near-constant laughter in the halls whenever he's around, and even if he fails a test his smile never disappears, doesn't it sound like he aligns with your philosophy?" Nezu explained.

'This kid, if I haven't met Young Midoriya when I did...' All Might thought and wondered what would have happened if Mirio was the successor instead of Izuku.

"And then, it was the weekend." Izuku narrate

"A day off, huh?" Denki asked as he and Mineta brush their teeth

"We were rushing around with the special training and provisional licensing exam, so I'm glad we can take it easy today..." Mineta said

"Morning!" Izuku said as he and Parad ran past them

"Take it easy, man..." Mineta said

"Those two over there have their provisional license training course on the weekend, huh?" Denki asked as he watched Shoto and Bakugo leave

"You should be thankful to the teachers." Shoto said, "Even after you fought with Midoriya at school, they didn't take away your chance to retake the provisional licensing exam." he said

"Shut up..." Bakugo said

"We need to catch up to them as soon as possible." Shoto said

"I said, shut up!" Bakugo said, "Walk behind me, damn it!" he said

"We're having a study session with Yao-momo today. You guys wanna come?" Denki asked

"Sorry, we're busy today, too." Eijiro said

"What side dishes should I have today...?" Mineta asked

"Everyone's got their own lifestyles..." Denki said

They arrive in front of Sir Nighteye agency

"An hour by train from UA..." Izuku narrate

"This is Sir's agency." Mirio said

"Wow, not a bad agency." Izuku said

"Yeah." Mirio said, "Oh, I didn't get to tell you this before, but sir's really strict." he said

"I'm aware." Izuku said, "A famous for being strict and harsh on himself and others..." he said,

"Even just watching him on TV, his sharp gaze through the screen made us shiver." Parad said

"That's true, too, but Sir has a different side to him than what you see in the press." Mirio said

"Huh?" Izuku and Parad said

"If you don't want to be turned away, then before you finish talking Sir today, you need to make him laugh at least once." Mirio explained confuse Izuku and Parad

"Wh-What do you mean? Make him laugh?" Izuku asked
