Chapter LXIV: Dead End II
Demonic Wildlands
Month of the Tortoise 33, 172 ,328 DE
After Vorn takes the female to a different room, I stare at the corrupted male. Vorn stripped him naked before tying him up, and his swollen balls have turned into an ugly mix of black and purple. It looks painful. The stench of Chaos corruption filling the air around him makes me want to puke, but instead,
Purify him.
Without replying, my swords float away from my shoulders. Between themselves, they begin to draw the same pattern they used on the corrupted female. It seems to take form a little faster than the last time. It seem like they might have been winging it the first time, but this time they are sure of what they need to do. The swords are not as knowledgeable as they pretend to be. I will have to pay better attention to what they say. If they give me bad information, it would be bad.
When my swords complete the pattern it descends on the corrupted maile. He squirms and struggles in an attempt to move away from the pattern, but Vorn pulled the corrupted male's bound feet behind his back all the way up to his hand and hogtied them. Before he moves more than a few centimeters, the pattern engulfs him and turns into silver and black flames.
The ropes binding the corrupted male ignite and turn to ash in a matter of seconds, but he despite the burns appearing on large swathes of his Body, he no longer even twitches. My swords' spell has completely robbed him of the ability to move.
After a portion of the flames sink into the corrugated male's Body, oily, polychromatic liquid seeps from his pores. His hair develops a faint polychromatic glow, and after turning to powder, it disappears, leaving just a faintly glowing cloud of polychromatic energies behind. In just a few minutes, much faster than with the female, the silver and black flames rise from the corrupted male's skin and scour the polychromatic from it.
Floating in the air, the silver and black flames begin to burn away the Chaos energies.
The male looks miserable. Where he was bound by the ropes, bloody meat shows through cracks in his burned skin, and blister rise the red burned skin covering the rest of his body. I dig my fingers into and pick him him and lift him off the deck. Seeing his unconscious head loll to one side, I slap his face a few times.
"Aaaarrrrrr." Releasing a pain-filled groan, the man opens his eyes and glares at me.

I slam him into the outer bulkhead and grab his head with my other hand. "First question. Where did that cunt you call the Handmaiden of God go?"
The corrupted male snarls at me. "Burn in Diyu, heretic!"
In the corrupted male's Mind, I see fragments of a scene that more or less matches the female's memory of the bitch aunt leaving on that odd airship.
After five or ten seconds, I smirk and hammer my knee into the corrugated males already abused balls. He gasps and passes out. I slap his face until he wakes up and clamp my hand back on his head.
"First question. Where did that cunt you call the Handmaiden of God go?"
"Fuck your mother!"
As I see replay of the same scene, I hammer my into corrupted male's balls, again. After waking him, I repeat the process. When I get to the twelfth repetition, I no longer see the memory.
"She went to Saheli Dugu!" The only thing in thing I get from the males Mind is the desire to the pain to end.
I smile. "That's a lie."
Crunch!
"AAAARRRRRR!"
My heel hammers into the corrupted males instep, crushing the bones, and in this enclosed room, his pain-filled shriek rings painfully in my ears.
My hearing is too sensitive. I need to find ways to strengthen my ears without degrading my hearing. The same applies to all my senses. As I grow stronger they will become more acute, but the toughness of my sensory organs does not seem to be growing at the same pace.
With the Chaos energies eliminated, the ball of silver and black fire disappears. My swords move to hover behind my shoulders, and as the male sees them, fear fills his eyes and scent.
"Second question. What is the cunt Handmaiden's purpose?"
For a moment, the corrupted male's eyes open wide in confusion, then he narrows them and clamps his jaws shut. A scattering of scenes from his time on the mountain flood through hid Mind, but none of them are useful. He seems to have no understanding of most of what he say.
"AAAARRRRR!"
With heel grinding into the shattered bones in his foot, his scream goes up a couple octaves.
"What is the cunt Handmaiden's purpose?"
"AAAARRRRR!"
After a half-dozen repetitions, the male's will breaks.
"I don't know. I serve God. I serve his Handmaiden. I don't ask questions."
The images in his Mind have no context. While he has witnessed experiments on Ferocious Beasts, Beastmen, and humans, he has no understanding of their purpose. His lack of understanding seems to have made his memories of the chemicals and tools vague.

"You're not lying. It's time to talk to your bitch companions. If she tells me something you've forgotten, instead of kicking you in the balls, I'll cut them off."
The male does not try to say anything, but his fear spikes into raw terror. After a moment, I smile at him. "If you try to move from this spot, my swords will hamstring you."
As I leave the room, my swords more closer to the male's face, and he slump into a sitting position against the wall.
In the other cabin, Vorn leans against the wall next to the door. Lying on the floor, the female locks her stare onto me. Most of blisters have been popped by her rough handling, and she is a miserable sight to see.
"You really made that ball-less bitch scream." Vorn uses the Northern Trade Tongue.
"He still has his balls, but they're a lot more swollen. He was lying to me and needed some persuasion to talk."
"What about this snake bitch?"
I smile at the female. "She doesn't have any balls, but kicking her in the cunt will be just as painful. If she stays stubborn, we can start cutting or burning things off."
Squatting next to the female, I pull the rope out of her mouth and clamp my hand onto her head. "You never told me where that bitch Handmaiden of God went to."
The female trembles in fear, but does not say anything. The only images in her Mind related to Vorn's bitch aunt are ones I have already seen. The scene of her leaving carries a sense of loss and dejection.
"Aaaaaaa!"
As my kick drives into the female's cunt, she shrieks in pain.
"Tell me or I'll heat up a dagger and how much you can really scream."
"I DON'T KNOW!" The female's shriek leaves my ears ringing, but no new images enter her Mind.
Kicker her and asking the question a few more times yields no changes in her memories. Like the male, this female probably has no idea where she went. They are a pair of traitors to their Realm that were abandoned by another traitor.
"What was the cunt Handmaiden doing here? What was her goal?"
"I don't know." With the female's whispered words, a flood of memory fragments flows through her mind, and terror rises from her Soul.
The female seems to have no understanding of most of what she saw on that mountaintop, and she also has memories from the mining compound and a city I do not recognize. Based on what I can piece together, the city lies in the western foothills of the Kami Kaze Mountains. They used a string of valleys pass through the mountains while guarding the transports on a regular basis. She was nothing more than a hired, fanatical thug. The War Knife was nothing more than a patrol ship used to guard the virtually unarmed transports.
Pretty much ignoring the female, Vorn has his attention focused on me. I look at Vorn and shake my head. "We've hit a dead end. This female is basically useless for any sort of useful information. The male is not better. They're just flunkies, who never learned anything of value."
"What do you plan to do with them?"
Looking down at the traitorous female, I grin. "See if they can fly. Drag her to the main hatch. I'll get the male."
"We're a kilometer or more above the ground." When I drag the male to the hatch, Vorn has it open and is looking down. Holding the female by the rope tying her hands to her feet, Vorn carries the female like a basket.
I shrug. "If they can fly, one kilometer or ten kilometers is no difference."
Hefting the female, Vorn flings her out the hatch.
"Noooo!" The female's terrified shriek fades away as she falls.
Not even struggling against my grip on his biceps, the male glares at me. "God will condemn you to Diyu, heretic!"
"We'll see." With a casual toss, I throw the male out the hatch.
Looking out the hatch, I meet the males glare as he falls silently to the forest below.
"They couldn't fly."
I shrug. "Looks that way. What are you going to do, now?"
Vorn scratches his bearded chin. "There no point in run around randomly looking for my traitor aunt, and the examination teams for the Cultivation Colleges hold the exams for backwaters like the Sengoku Empire in the Month of the Pangolin. I'll just stay in Shizukana Gake until them. The girls there give the noble ladies around the royal palace in Amber a run for the money when it comes to sluttishness and dog-baiting is a great sport."
"Go fuck your mother." My rejoinder has no bite to it, and I feel a headache coming on.
