Lei and Katelyn walked together as they headed to her room in the female student's hostel building. They reached the room's doorstep and stopped, Katelyn getting out the room keys.

She opened the door and walked in, "Welcome."

Lei smiled as he entered the room, his hands in the pocket. After he was in, Katelyn closed the door.

Lei looked around and admired the room. It had a vanilla-scented flavor on a burner and an odour of the lady's perfume. The pink floral wallpaper, white carpet and the neatly and lavishly arrangement of items in the room with adorned and amplified details were outstanding and superlative.

"Your room is wow! Really wow!" He had no words to describe the grandly imposing nature of the room, only complimenting in meritorious admiration.

"Thank you." Katelyn smiled with appreciation.

Lei walked to the bookshelf in the room and looked at the books, his hands still in the pocket.

"They are all the latest updated versions of IT and Telecommunication coursebooks." Katelyn slowly walked behind him, "You can also find them helpful."

Lei turned to her, "Thank you."

"You are welcome." Katelyn said, then silence followed. When the silence lengthened, it made Katelyn nervous. She quickly turned to the study table, unable to know whether she could concentrate on the study with what she was already feeling towards him, "Let us start." She promptly moved to the table and sat.

Lei was able to notice her nervousness, and so, thought of something that could make her comfortable and relaxed, "Kate," He slowly moved to the study table and sat beside her, "I was once in the military army, for around five years. Sweet five years of my life."

Katelyn looked at him with raised eyebrows, pretty much knowing how the words were likely to be a lie.

"I was among the heroes who fought with Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia, Palestine, Israel, France, USA, and even our brothers here; Uganda and Tanzania." Lei intoned humorously, "Sweet old days. There is nothing memorable like an army's life."

An amused smile came on Katelyn's lips, "Kenya fought those countries? Or am I the one in a different country?"

Lei leaned towards her with a whisper, "We called it operation... C42 confidential. It was underground cold war. I am not even supposed to tell you, even though I resigned."

Katelyn's amused smile widened, now feeling relaxed and open upon the man's jokes, "And why are you telling me, then?" She sweetly said.

Lei sat back on the study chair, "It's just something about me. You know we haven't yet known more about each other."

Katelyn turned to her books and opened them, now fully relaxed, "Lei, let us start. Time is moving."

"Okay." Lei nodded. He was now sure they would comfortably study.
