《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 174: Dealing with the devil

Before the Warlords' meeting ended, Yuki made sure to get the den den mushi contact of both Mihawk and Doflamingo before everyone dispersed.
Well, he didn't leave Marine Ford yet since he still had something to rip off from someone... Sengoku!
"You said you have a special stone that can remove a person's devil fruit power temporarily right?" Spoke Sengoku to Yuki while the two of them sat in his office alone, or so it appeared.
"That's right, but I'm not so sure on how it works exactly, It doesn't work on all devil fruit users and only on certain people so it might not work on you as well" Replied Yuki trying to pad any holes in his story. After all, Sengoku might have some doubts and end up bringing someone else to test his fake stone on…
Sengoku had a frown on his face after hearing this before he said "Fine, you can test it on me, but you will have to hand it to us if it truly works, such an item is worth too much and might be the key to create a peaceful world!"
'It seems he's willing to use himself for his values… What an idiot... Well, I guess he's still being careful, I can sense many dangerous presences hiding nearby… It doesn't matter though, you are going to get fucked either way and I will make sure to milk you to the last drops…' Thought Yuki with a cruel light flashing through his eyes before he said
"That's impossible, this is my treasure and I went through a lot to get it, even if I have to throw away this position of warlord and be hunted by the lot of you, I will still not give it away just like that!"
*BANG*
Sengoku slammed his hand on the table shattering it into pieces before he yelled "Do you understand the significance of such an item? How selfish can you be? What will happen if it falls into the wrong hands?"
Sengoku was truly angry, but he suddenly froze when he noticed the cold smile on Yuki's face and heard him say "So are the Celestial dragons the safe hands that should hold this treasure?"
"Y-you.." Sengoku didn't know how to respond, he wasn't a naïve marine that obeyed the celestial dragons mindlessly, but he couldn't deny the hidden meaning behind Yuki's words, the existence of such an item can't be divulged…
Seeing that he hit Sengoku in his soft spot successfully, Yuki smiled warmly and said "I can't give you the whole stone, but I can give you a piece of it to study, hopefully secretly, this's my best offer"
Sengoku had a conflicted look on his face, but someone suddenly entered the office and stared at Yuki seriously before he spoke "Fine, but if you try to use it for a bad purpose, I will make sure to hunt you personally"

"Ah Garp-san, please don't say such a scary thing, I'm a law-abiding person and anyone who knows me can attest to it" Replied Yuki with a shrug, but he had no fear on his face which made the two old men fall into more doubt… although it wasn't related to how sure they were regarding his shamelessness...
"Let's see its effect first before we make the final decision" Spoke Sengoku with a sigh, and Yuki hurriedly nodded and took out a cheap magical stone from his storage that had a dark affinity to make it more realistic and they instantly felt an eerie aura surrounding it.
"Don't resist" Spoke Yuki calmly to Sengoku who nodded in response and watched as the young man in front of him held the stone and made it touch his skin.
The moment that happened, Yuki's path of evolution ability triggered causing Sengoku's devil fruit power to activate automatically and transformed him into a giant golden buddha wrecking the office in the process
"What's happening to me?" Muttered Sengoku in shock while Garp almost punched Yuki away from him but he stopped after hearing the latter say "This is just the effect of the stone interacting with his fruit power, it will stop soon"
And just as Yuki said this, Sengoku started to gradually transform back into a human form.
"Are you okay Sengoku?" Asked Garp worriedly and he only let out a sigh of relief when his friend nodded back at him and said "Ah, nothing seems out of place, but I feel weaker and I lost the ability to use my devil fruit"
"Well, this is the effect of the stone, although I believe you will recover quickly considering the type of your devil fruit so don't worry" Spoke Yuki while barely holding the giant smirk on his face as he stared at the notification that appeared in front of him
[Requirement for evolving Minotaur's talent 1/5]
"I can't believe such a thing truly exists" Muttered Garp while Sengoku opened a drawer in his office and took out handcuffs made out of sea stones and carried them with his bare hands, and surprisingly, he didn't feel any weakening from them!
"Incredible, did I really regain my ability to swim as well?" Sengoku's face was full of shock as he stared at the black gem-like stone in Yuki's hand with clear desire on his face, and Yuki wasn't cheap as he immediately retrieved his sword and cut a piece of the stone for them "Here you go as promised…"
"It seems like I don't have to beat you up to make you keep your words, too bad…" Said Garp with a sigh making Yuki feel goosebumps, but he ignored the sadistic old man and thought 'I'm going to go to hell for this aren't I… tricking old people… It feels good though'
Then he waved at them and said "Goodbye then, I have some stuff I need to do now" before he started running away, he was planning to go visit his old friend Crocodile in jail to absorb his devil fruit since it was an elemental one before he leaves marine ford and starts establishing his crew!

….
In impel down, Crocodile was currently staying silently in his cell and contemplating his defeat to Luffy with a depressed look on his face.
But suddenly, he felt a presence emerging right beside him, and he turned around quickly only to end up finding that it was none other than Yuki…
"How did you get in here?" Spoke Crocodile coldly with a slightly shaky voice at the unbelievable feat this man had just done...
"Well, how I came here doesn't matter, what matters is that I'm here to strike a deal with you… are you interested? If not I will just leave and you can rot here for the rest of your life without a chance to redeem your honor"
"What kind of deal you want to make?" asked Crocodile while clenching his hands tightly, and seeing this, Yuki simply smiled warmly and replied "I can give you your freedom back, but not right away, in exchange, I won't to use this stone on you"
Staring at the pitch-black stone Yuki was holding on his hand, Crocodile couldn't help but ask suspiciously "What's this stone going to do? And when do you plan to free me?"
"Well, it will deprive you of the ability to use your devil fruit for about a month or two, that's all and I will come to save you around the same period as well, maybe in three months at most"
Crocodile contemplated silently before he asked coldly "Why not right now?"
To this, Yuki simply shrugged and said "Cause I will be their number one suspect, and I still need this Warlord position that I just gained"
"You are the new warlord?" Asked Crocodile through his gritted teeth and Yuki suddenly froze 'Eh, did I hurt his frail feelings…' so he couldn't help but say instinctively "Please don't cry"
"Who's going to cry you bastard!" Yelled Crocodile and tried to punch Yuki but he easily dodged it. However, it attracted the attention of the other level 6 prisoners causing some of them to start muttering
"Did Crocodile lose his mind already?"
"Guess he's just a weakling"
"I heard he was defeated by a new pirate that didn't even set foot in the new world yet HAHAHAHAHA"
"How disgraceful…"
"These bastards…." Crocodile stared coldly at the other prisoners before turning to Yuki and noticed that there was no ridicule in his eyes when he heard him say "You can get stronger, but you will have to train your Haki… Otherwise, you won't have a place in the coming new era"
A few seconds of silence passed before Crocodile finally agreed to sign a deal with the devi- Yuki and had his devil fruit ability absorbed from him… He wasn't the type to trust people, but he didn't have a choice, he can't stay locked up like this.
Before leaving, Yuki smiled at him and said "You won't regret this decision" Before throwing him a packet of cigars, his favorite brand at that, and simply disappeared just the way he come.
"This kid did his research…" Thought Crocodile while staring at the cigars in his hand and quickly put one on his mouth only to finally realize… Yuki didn't give him a lighter.
Biting the cigar in his mouth in half, Crocodile couldn't hold himself from yelling "YOU DID IT ON PURPOSE DIDN'T YO-"
But just as he did, Yuki's head popped out of the wall beside him with a wide grin on his face, and threw a pack of matches at him before he said "It's just a joke lighten up… And you can only blame your weak observation Haki for it… See ya"
Crocodile caught the pack of matches with a dazed look on his face, and in the midst of the mocking and ridicule he was receiving, he muttered softly to himself "Was he showing me just how weak my observation Haki is? It seems like I really wasted my life trying to master a devil fruit and stopping my Haki training… Time to change"
With this thought in mind, he put aside the cigars and sat down cross-legged, and entered a meditative state to focus on the voices that were mocking him and find out who they belonged to… He vowed to kill all of them once he gets out!
….
In the air far away from Marine Ford, Yuki and Yurei were currently floating alongside each other, Yurei have been busy these days and he managed to get them a ship from some unlucky pirates, but it wasn't good enough so Yuki was planning to travel to Water seven to build his own ship.
Along the way, Yurei suddenly asked "What do you plan to do next Boss? Any unfortunate target in mind?"
Yuki was laying on his back and allowing Yurei to carry him with his psychic powers, and after considering his future plans, he calmly smiled and said "It's time to invite our neighbors over… I think they will like this world"
"I don't think they will if you end up working them like you are doing to me" replied Yurei with a hushed voice prompting Yuki to smile warmly at him and ask "Did you say something?"
"No Boss" Replied Yurei hurriedly.
"Good, make it quick then, I can't wait to see the temporary ship you got us"
And so, the unfortunate Yurei carried his boss along with him, but soon he will not be the only unfortunate one to have to deal with Yuki…
