"Astraea, we need to leave now! That thing is about to explode!"
"Hurry! Follow the blood trails, they will lead us back."
"Got it!"
"Nix, you have to use your void plane now to give us more time to escape."
"That's impossible, there are conditions met before I can fully use my void plane."
"I can't explain them now, we need to get the hell out of here!"
They ran across the bloodshed and into the bodies that they previously ran past through. Astraea noticed that some of the bodies were missing.
"Nix!"
"What?!"
"Some of the bodies we're missing!"
"We don't have time to mention that just run!"
As soon as they were about to run, a dead body began to lunge at Nix and bite his leg. Nix yells out as he tries to let go of the dead.
"Nix!"
Astraea kicked the dead as they regained composure and ran towards the denser forest.
"Nix! I recognize this place where you killed an owl!"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"If we can locate where the dead owl is, we can find the near exit!"
"Good idea"
They seem to be lost track of where they have to venture into the forest when suddenly Astraea figured out that Nix usually leaves purple stains after he attacks.
"Nix, wait!"
"What!"
"Remember when we first met, when you killed one of those creatures you usually leave a purple mark on your targets.."
"Yeah? What about it?"
"If we can find one of these trees with your mark on it, we can find a way out of here as well..."
"Okay? Where should we start?"
As soon as Astraea was about to leave she spotted another mist in the distance. She hovers her flashlight around the area.

"Over here...."
A very faint voice struck over Astraea's head after she saw the thing.
"Nix, I think I found a way out of here..."
They passed around some dense bushes and Nix realized that he was standing on something between his shoes.
"Astraea! I found it! We should run across these trees and we're out of here"
'"There! Those purple marks! We are getting close!"
They ran as fast as they can, out of the forest and they saw the road just up ahead.
"Man, that was a good vacation place. I needed that... It's been so long since I had such a nice time.", Helios said.
Helios spotted Astraea and Nix leaving the forest as the taxi's headlights hovers around them.
"Wait! What are they doing here?"
As soon as Helios is about to call them. A huge explosion suddenly resonated across the forest, the impact is so strong that his taxi stumbled and flipped upside down.
"Hello! Mr. Taxi guy? Are you okay?"
No response from the taxi driver. Helios tried to open the door to the taxi but it was jammed, so decided he kick the door so hard for it to be open.
Helios crawled his way out of the car and realized that they were gone.
"How could this be? Are they involved with this?"
Early that morning, Professor Yamamoto is about to give out some announcements.
"Class, there is been a terrible incident lately. The Aokigahara Forest famously known as the "Suicide Forest" has been bombed by unknown criminals, I believe that there was one casuality during that explosion. The Japanese officials stated that this could be a terrorist attack and they are planning to attack soon. I hope that the citizens of Yamanashi Prefecture are safe during these times."

Helios began to sweat heavily as he felt at both Astraea and Nix were staring at him. So he carefully look behind him, he looked at both of them terrified.
"Helios! Are you okay, over there?", Prof. Yamamoto asked.
Helios nodded.
Helios is aware that if he confessed to the whole class what he saw last night, the whole campus might be in a panic. Or it might be worse they must have explosives with them and Helios doesn't want the whole campus to be blown up. As he carefully reads the situation both of the culprits seem to be relaxed and composed.
"I don't have any reasons why would I accuse them of such terrible crimes... but in that night. We were the only people that nearby that explosion which is enough evidence for me. Before I decide hastily I must observe them..."
As soon as the class ended Helios realized that Astraea and Nix are very close lately. He followed them around the campus and try to dodge them at the same time.
"Everything is normal.. I know something is up between the two of them."
After all of the classes were ended Helios began to stalk them. He followed them wherever they go, at the coffee shop, at the mall, at the park. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary.
Hours passed, and they decided to walk through a dark alleyway. Helios is tired of following them at this point but he's determined that he must do this for the sake of everyone else.
Helios followed them in the corner and suddenly he realized that both of them are gone.
"Dead end?", Helios said.
"Hey, asshole why are you following us?"
"You've been following us all day.. What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"Wait? Nix let him talk first. There might be some misunderstandings"
"I will kill him now if I have to, Astraea so don't try stopping me!"
"I knew you guys are up to something! You guys are fucking terrorists!"
Helios began to scream as loud as he could for help.
"Help! Help! Everyone help me! The terrorists are here!"
"The only terrorist here is your Lord, your God doesn't save you now.."
Helios tried and tried so hard to yell but he keeps on choking for air instead, Helios cried and sobbed desperately for air to breathe. Nix began to grab his neck and stabbed him in the stomach.
Nix dropped his body and he leaves him bleeding.
"Nix! Stop! What the hell is wrong with you!"
"I need to protect the Lost Oasis, Astraea. Even if I end up killing my friends..."
"Hey, assholes! I'm not done yet!"
Helios began to stand on his legs with an exposed stomach.
"I can't let you terrorists kill my parents! I will kill you even if I die right here!"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
