《Azurlane: Future Prosperity》Chapter 14: Lost Control

Assessing a stack of papers from the comfort of his well lit and heated personal Office. Admiral in charge of fleet operations against sirens appearing in the Baltic sea for Iron Blood was Naval Base Kiel Admiral Hans Paul Jaeger . He recieved a report consisting of new ships secretly sent over to his base, and the one who sent it was someone he didn't like.
"Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Admiral Hipper and Prinz Eugene were sent to Kiel under a secret operation requested by Professor Himmler himself."
(I'm going english for his pov. And Native languages for the modern ships.)
Iron Blood was not controlled by Chancellor Adolf Hitler, instead the rulling party still remained for the Kaiser of Germany as the first world war never occured. Though he may not be in charge his presence was still felt via the Nazi Party. And standing before the Admiral of Kiel was an SS Officer appointed in the SS Division a paramilitary force sending the message of approval from the Chancellor himself.
"Did the Kaiser approved of this farce?" There was a clear hostility between him and the SS Officer. "I would remind you that my Power in this region is absolute and I shall not join in this Treasonous Act!"
"The Kaiser does not need to be informed of such little things. This is a Secret operatiom to strengthen Iron Blood's Technology, the Kaiser does not understand the importance of technology for victory. He is already and senile his son is not as influential as he. If we continue to be led by the Kaiser we will be faced with civil war all over this beautiful Fatherland." The SS officer spites the Kaiser without hesitation. His loyalty was only to the chancellor and to his Party not the country or it's people that was clear for the admiral.
"This is Treason! Do this in another naval base. Not my territory!!" The Admiral yells fully showing he has no intention to defy the kaiser. However his sentiment was not shared with the SS Officer.
A Gun was then drawn to his head. A Mauser C96, one of Germany's marvellous handguns that nearly everyone would be familiar with.
"Treason? Nein. If it is for the greater good of Iron Blood then a mere senile old man should have no right to decide for everyones future!"
Admiral Hans Paul Jager knows this is merely bullshit. The Nazi's don't care about their subjects, their like a failed artist trying to make the perfect piece. Making things overly detailed, complicated, Granduer and distastefully unique to compensate for his lack of taste.
(Yes I just insilted Hitler's art. What are you gonna do about it?)
"The Hypocrasy...." The Admiral grumbled with a mutter underneath his breath. "Fine! But if you bring the Kaiser's wrath I will have no involvement with your Fanatic Racist Group."
He slammed his book shut finally allowing the illegal activities he had tried to shut down quietly, but they can now move freely and under his authority.
It frustates him to no end that some horrific experiment is going on somewhere within his territory of authority.
The SS Officer left with a smirk in his lips. Further angering the Admiral.

"Scheisse!" He slammed the table and sat in his chair defeated.
A Kansen curiosly peaked into the room with a worried expression for her Admiral.
Sensing the Girl's presence he calls out to her name.
"Deutschland, what're you doing here so early?"
The Kansen blushed upon her discovery. It was no surprise as one of the youngest Admirals by the young age of 31 he was quite popular with the women of his Territory.
"Admiral... I came here after one of those men came. Did they ask anything absurd like taking one of us?"
The innocent worry was enough to have calmed his nerves. His fatherly instincts (despite being single) kicked in and he smiled patting her head to calm her mind.
"Nein. They did not. Merely the bastards wanted their illegal activities to be left alone."
"What?! We've almost cracked their hideouts! Why stop now? We could show this to the Kaiser and finaly kick out that nasty chancellor off his seat!"
"Afraid we can't. He made a point. The Kaiser is dying. At this point the chancellor would sieze power and he'll rile up the masses. He'll break the temporary peace with britain and invade every country within this Continent."
"Is there nothing we can realy do?"
"Yes, there is. But that'll be defection, which that bastard can use to further rile up the massess deposing me as a potential revolutianist leader."
Deutschland frowned her lips curved down. Saddened by the news, she looks up to him again only to look down again.
"The Nazi's are on the path to victory."
He mutters as he looked across the Window and into the port. There a familiar Battleship towed by Tugboats into a dock.
"Scharnhorst..."
And in the distance famous ships were seen in the broad horizon. Deutschland was disturbed by this, the Power of the Party became clear from this show of force alone. If they can move the Tirpitz out of her Norwegian Port then it is simply impossible to try and oppose them now.
Immediately a sense of urgency and dread washed over Deutschland she looked to the Admiral still mesmerized by the view and let out of her voice.
"Admiral, I'm afraid there is something here that could not be explained through my mere words alone."
As though not listening and still mesmerized by the view outside the Admiral paid no mind and did not give a response. She was worried for second till she notices he was squiniting his eyes into the skies.
She looked to the direction and conjured a telescope. Up above was a streak of white clouds like a line within the sky it drew parabollaly. It arched down and the following became absolute dread. Hundreds of Arrow shaped warheads impacted the base hitting ships and defenses.
"We're under attack. Send a message to the destroyer fleet to immediately blockade the territory." The Admiral was quick to take an action and issued his orders however he was immediately shot down.
"ADMIRAL! I'M RECIEVING TRANSMISSIONS FROM MULTIPLE SQUADS THAT AN UNKNOWN KANSEN FORCE HAS INFLITRATED! ONE OF THE HIDEOUTS OF THE NAZI'S WAS ALSO BREACHED."

"Calm down! And say it slowly."
"Haah... Yes. One of the Nazi illegal buildings have been breached and all roads and districts leading to the area was blocked."
"Cancel my first order, tell everyone that we have an Unknown Kansen force infiltrating our base and destroying our town! Blockade the sea and open fire on the mainland, but only to the places clear of civilians!"
"Sending message now."
He looked out the window in despair. Seeing how easily his force was being taken care of within the first 15 seconds, he could not bear it any longer and grabbed his coat leaving Duetschland in the room.

Ford waited for confirmation. Today was a very frustating Day for the leaders of the Remnant Force.
"Ford, I've confirmed intel from 'Snow White'."
"And that is?"
"Enterprise."
Ford moved from the wall and grabbed a phone from one of her pockets in the trench coat she wore. "Yes. Do it."
30 seconds past and Pyotr's fleet fired a Missile Bombardment continuosly.
"So... who'll watch over Snow White?"
"Bakunawa would be enough."
"Are you sure? She's a Pathetic and Useless Womanizer whose also a Freeloader leeching off of everyone."
"You've got the wrong perception of that person. Sure she is a freeloader lazy bum, but she's very efficient in doing "chores"."
"I know that. But unlike Mirai, The Moon Light Maiden Art... was mastered by this Womanizing Destroyer even before Mirai or the war existed."
In Bakunawa's side, the Moment she dived into the sea to rescue Youzui. She was obviously ambushed, surrounded in all sides by "Rippers" Siren Midget Submarine fleet that deals with Anti-sub Warfare gaining a terrifying reputation which almost ended submarine deep dives.
"I just wanna lay down..."
Bakunawa's pleading voice was silent and tired. After she finished her sentence all Rippers immediately headed for her, with their cerated teeth ready to tear armor and flesh.
"I wanna be a musuem ship..."

"Shit..."
The Admiral Hans Paul Jaeger curses as he threw away the radio talk box. He is beyond furious, one thing after another casualties are being reported left and right with the SS Officer who he just had talks too threatened to have him hanged publicly for this failure.
He curses why the Nazi was even alive despite their compound being the target of the Kansen force, now a new problem arises.
>
From the barely broken radio came a familiar voice, Deutschland. Admiral hans immediately picked up the communicator and spoke.
"What is it Deutsch?" He asked using the daughterly nickname he gave her. That was misunderstood to be a couples calling.
>
His position was at stake and he'll be using it as a bet, if he wins he gets a slap in the risk but if he loses the noose will be waiting.
So his following orders were simple. "Ask this Invaders for a Truce."
There came silence over the radio. > it was a albeit late answer leading for admiral to suspect doubt in his decision.
Hans laid down the talk box and pulled out his gun pointing it to the only door that leads to the Bunker.
There stood a Shadowy figure, of a woman with no riggings by her side. Instead her hand was stretched out and holding a Boxy handgun (Glock 17).
It was difficult to confirm the figure as the light she blocked barely showed her identity, what was obvious though was her unifrom color which was oddly dark blue instead of the Kriegsmarine's Dark Grey.
"Who are thou to disturb my town?"
"Hilarious Question Kraut, then let me ask you as well why did you kidnapped and experimented with one of my Harem members."
There came an awkward stiff Silence. Though tense the two were seemingly composed. Observing each other's speech patterns it was clear the Female intruder was confident even if he pulled the trigger.
"... Did you come here for a Ceasefire?" The ice was finaly broken by nonother than Deutschland who came after hearing the happenings over the radio.
However she was mostly concerned for the Admiral's safety more than anything else.
Deutschland pointed all her guns to the woman's back head. Ready to fire if she hastly moved to do something.
"Not so fast German." A stiff German sentence was said with an American Accent.
"Philippine Sea, disarm the girl. Wait no not the literal kind I meant confiscating her weapons."
"Understood my love."
"I'm your Commander. Not your Lover."
"Okay wife is being mean."
The Unknown admiral just sighed giving up.
"So what're you planning. You're american right? Are you Eagle Union?"
"Eagle Union? Hahaha. I'm a patriot. Out of this World kinda thing."
Hans counterpart lowered her weapon and he soon did to.
"Sirens have come."
"We know. Infact we wanted to have a cease fire but to think your side also wants it is pretty much surprising since I've been dealing with alot of prideful people lately."
"It just says I'm different. Admiral Hans Paul Jaeger of the Kriegsmarine under His Kaiser's service."
He stretched a hand to her in which she took and shaked.
"Rear Admiral of the United Nations Peace Enforcers of the Sea, Jess Loraine Hood. It is refreshing to meet someone like you out here Admiral."
As a Temporary cease fire was agreed upon the two cruisers from opposite sides were immediately on their messaging devices each decades away from one another.
"So this is where Hood has been hiding!"
That voice was familiar, for the Admiral. Very few Kansens knows how to deal with this Siren Seeker, and the fact she now stand by the door inches away from USS Philippine Sea creates a situation in what can normaly be called "Oh Shit We Gotta Run."
Loraine knew she couldn't run and as the Bodyguard Philippine Sea imediately tackled the Seeker outside.
"Rear Admiral! Run!"
Philippine Sea will now fight this Seeker, having been retired and recommisioned for the Pacific War Philippine Sea knows she won't be able to win.
"I'll back you up!" Deutschland says as her cannons aimed for the Siren.
"No! Run, This Siren isn't one you have faced in this WORLD!"
"How Brave. My name's Apex, Let's dance somewhere else—"
"SHIT—"
Philippine Sea and Apex was dragged into a Mirror Sea. A Dimension in which Deutscheland won't be able to interfere.

Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

During the New Sith Wars, The Black Sun, worried about their business goes about investing large resources into a project they dubbed Harbinger; to act as the safe guard against the Jedi, Sith and other syndicates that would be intent on removing them from power, if the opportunity shows itself. As such they created a one of kind killing machine, made up of some of the most dangerous races in the known galaxy. But due to unknown sabotage their plans are ruined and their organisation set back centuries in the many plans. Follow this entity on it's journey through the galaxy, as it stumbles upon one mess after another and tries to find its purpose in this vast galaxy. This is my own little star wars fantasy and wish fulfilment so don't come expecting overly complex plots and fully fleshed out galaxy. Hopefully I will be able to make this fun. Also I won't be decribing the species often, so you're going to have to look them up yourself. There are just too many to constantly be describing them beyond their garb.

Aeternalis
One born of nothingness. A world born of everything. To return all to nothing. Or surrender to everything. A man born into an infinite world, trying to find his path to the top. Trials and tribulations come from friends and foes alike until all bow before him. ------------------------------------- Author here! This is my 3rd story on RoyalRoad, the other two having long since been dropped years ago. They were a mess of ideas and had no real substanence to them, leading me to begin hating writing them and eventually just stop writing altogether for about a year and a half. Finally, after reading hundreds of thousands of pages of novels, from low fantasy to sci-fi litrpg's to thousands of pages long xianxias, I finally feel ready to write a real story that isn't a cesspool of ideas blended together. I plan to see this out to the end, as I already have the first few major arcs planned out unlike my other stories where I thought of ideas as I wrote. This story takes place in a world with a litrpg system, as per tags. This isn't a VRMMO or Reincarnation story. The main character exists in and is from said world. There are some differences from other litrpg's which will be explained in author notes in the few few chapters. I plan to publich 6-7 chapters a week, each 2-3k words long. If i fail to do so I will create a back-log I have to eventually make up but as of writing this it's the summer for me so I'll have plenty of time to write. Enjoy, and welcome to the world of Aeternalis.

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons.
