《Heart Of Stone》Chapter 6

A group of men, with other smaller men standing next to them, sitting around a large table with some chairs, glancing at each other in complete silence, and the elderly head officer stands tensely by the door, waiting for the verdict. Finally, a big man, who was built like a brick house, with pale skin, a chiseled face with small pinched deep blue eyes and shaggy, spiky black hair coughs into his fist to break the silence. His eyes wandered to the other faces in the room, taking a breath before beginning,
“I think we all know why we are here, now does anyone have any ideas?” A young, slightly feminine dominate flicks his blonde, shoulder-length wavy hair over his shoulder, chuckling to himself,
“It’s obvious; someone has to take him under one of our wings. Yes?” A gruff voice responded,
“That brat needs to be put in his place and trained.” It was another large, husky dominate with light skin, round features, a big nose in between small, round amethyst eyes, and short, messy silver hair. He had a grumpy, stern look on his face. The first dominate to talk sighs, brows furrowed,
“He seems so..stubborn. Being hard on him may only make things worse.” The tougher looking of the dominates huffs, crossing his arms,
“Well, something has to be done. That kid is out of control.” The blonde-haired dominate smirks, laughing ridiculously
“Maybe some love will heal this poor submissive’s heart, Xander.” Xander loses his temper, slams a fist on the table,
“Love!? Really!? That is bullshit, and you know it, Marcus.” The two started to argue loudly with each other while the other dominate closed his eyes, massaging his temples. The fighting goes on for a while until he gets fed up with the fight and stands up abruptly, yelling at them,

“Enough! Arguing like this won’t get us anywhere.” The big dominate finally notices that the group is missing two more people after managing to calm the other two down,
“Where is Lucas and his submissive, Alec.” Marcus hmphs, upturning his nose snobbishly,
“Who knows, maybe they got caught up in a romantic venture. Again.” Xander tches, “Probably is, he’s too soft if you ask me.”
Suddenly two men burst into the room, panting heavily and hunched over, faces red. One was a tall, body-builder like a man with pale skin has an angular face with narrow, deep cerulean eyes and brown military buzzed hair. The other was a young, petite man with porcelain skin, small, oval-shaped face with a button nose, wide, round forest green eyes, and straight light blonde hair in a sharp bob. The new dominate gave the others an apologetic look,
“I‘m sorry we are late! We got caught up with something.” Marcus snickers and whispers to Xander about how he was right. Lucas sits down at the table while his sub stands near him with his hands fastened together before him. The black-haired dominate sighs in relief, smiling weakly at the pair,
“Glad you could join us. We were discussing who will take the thief.” Lucas soon becomes serious,
“It should be the dominate who is most equip to deal with this kind of behavior.” Marcus puffs up his chest, smirking confidently,
“It’s obviously should be me; my love could crumble the hard stone around his heart.” Xander rolls his eyes, shaking his head,
“That brat needs to be put in his place; it should be me who trains him.” The may-be leader of the dominates with deep blue eyes frowns,
“Well, I can’t take him, I’m worried he may upset my sub.” The other two candidates start to argue again, much to the calm one’s chagrin. Before the argument escalates, Lucas says something that makes the room go quiet after he shares a look with Alec and squeezes his hand,

“We’ll take him, Edward.” Everyone stares at him with wide eyes, and Edward raises a brow,
“Well, you are the most level-headed of us.” Marcus pouts but doesn’t fight with them,
“You make a good point, plus he is a good mix of all of us.” Even Xander nods his head, leaning back into his chair,
“I must admit, you do have a way with submissives and won’t be a wimp with training him.” The leader of the group smiles, clapping his hands together,
“Then it’s decided, Lucas will take the troublesome submissive, and hopefully, he will learn to love his submissive side.” Lucas and Alec smile at each other, eyes sparkling with happiness to know they are getting a new member to love. The meeting was adjourned, Jasper’s fate sealed. Everyone went to their respected homes, the pair who will take in the submissive thief were thrumming with anticipation for their newest member.

Cornucopia of Hope
The graduating class of Hope's Peak Academy has been kidnapped sometime after their graduation ceremony. They wake up in a beautiful, plush mansion with no idea where they could be other than the name Our Mansion of Plenty. The physical barriers of steel plates and locked doors might not be enough to cage them, if it weren't for the malicious mechanical fairy calling itself The Fey and ruling their new lives with an iron--albeit tiny--fist. While being kidnapped is bad enough, the fact that this fairy brat is telling them to kill each other is definitely worse. Apparently, murdering one of your fellow victims is the only way to get out of this luxurious mansion. But nobody would do that...right? Cornucopia of Hope is a non-canon killing game completely alienated from the the canon universe of the Danganronpa games. The things borrowed from the games are as followed: Hope's Peak Academy, and the structure of 16ish hyper-skilled teenagers trapped in an enclosed space and being subjected to a motive, a murder, an investigation, a trial, and an execution of the presumed killer. There are no spoilers, tie ins, or previous knowledge required of the series to read this story!

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
