《House Of Omen: Indomitable Oathbreaker》As a Spiritknight

Over 17 tonnes! The average peak Honour Level Spiritknight couldn't even lift that much. But Darius was capable of this, without using any spiritual essence at that! This was, simply put, absurd! Hope didn't even bother to mask the disgust on her face as she stared at Darius, "Innate Divine Strength?"
Darius struggled with all his might to keep holding the weights and nodded lightly. He could barely even speak at the moment, even that one action of bobbing his head once had taken him all he had. However, he had no intention of letting go. Why you ask? Because he was experiencing incredible benefits at the moment! Absolutely huge.
The miraculous pill he had been given after his battle with the Serpentis was not simply a healing pill. It had quite a few incredible side-effects. One of which was shown in full effect here. Every time the pill taker got injured, the pill would start exhuding hidden healing essences that would not only repair, but even improve whatever parts were broken!
Darius had been told of it and wondered where and how he could exploit this but he decided to take his time. The pill effect would be available for the next 10 years. Of course, after those ten, whatever would be left would sink into the body as nutrition. That, however would be a waste considering the circumstances.
As Darius held those 17 ton weights, he could feel countless muscle fibres ripping, and along them many cracks were forming in his bones. But each was repaired as soon as it happened, becoming stronger than before. It was as if his body was being refined in a magical furnace at the cellular level. This was the biggest reason that gave rise to the pill's mainstream name. The Cellular Refinement Pill!
The destruction and repair was happening at an incredibly fast rate and high level thanks to the pill. Darius was someone who had incredible sense over his body. If so much as a hair fell off his body, he could sense it. This was one of the perks of being a Spiritknight for the boy.
Over time the weight slowly increased till it reached just over 20 metric tons. By this point, there was no more damage to his body as his physical quality had already reached a higher state. Putting it simply, the Darius holding the weight now and the Darius holding the weight at the beginning could be said to be two entirely different people, down to the cellular level for most of the body.

Hope was not sensitive to such things, but Ro was. He could sense that Darius' vitality had increased many times over in that short time span. He nodded his head and said, "Irie." No one paid attention to this small detail and they continued on with proceedings.
"Now inject spiritual essence into the weights while fortifying your body with spiritual essence." said a once more stoic Hope. Darius nodded and did what he was told. Spiritual Fortification or armorment was a basic skill for anyone who could use spiritual essence. It just meant fill up your body with spiritual essence and compact it as much as possible. This would result in increased strength, speed and reaction speed. There were added effects depending on the user and their own affinities. Darius had the strength attribute, so he had plenty of strength type spiritual essence. The weight could sense this and thus reacted accordingly.
Using spiritual essence, Darius felt like like the weights were like plastic bags. It was ridiculous when he recalled the intense pain from just moments earlier, but the situation changed so quickly it left him breathless. The weights started becoming heavier causing the numbers on the screen on the side to change. 'Iries' were being thrown left right and center by Ro while Hope's expression became uglier by the second. The value stopped at just under 40 times. That was basiclly a twofold increase. For a freshman that was ridiculous. Not to mention that he had once again smashed a record. To hope this one hurt because this was a record she had set.
She knew it would eventually be broken but not while she was a student. As she got more depressed, the Cellular Refinement pill went into action. The same process that occurred before happened, but it was a bit more intense this time. The weight slowly started to increase bit by bit, causing Hope's heart to sink in despair.
Darius stopped at over 67 tons. Hope sighed in resignation. But the test had to go on, this was being recorded after all. She could mess up the reputation of the martialists at the academy!
"As you are a spiritknight the test has one more tier. Use as many skills as you plus spiritual essence to reach your strongest state. Darius didn't want to make to big of a splash, alas it seemed that he had gone overboard. He saw Hopes face and was drowned by a wave of 'iries' by Ro. He did not want to experience that again. So this time he only activated one ability, Indomitable.

Darius had incredible control, but he was far from being able to use his body's full potential. The average human could barely pull out a third of what their body could do.
Indomitable had two skills. One that increases mental focus and increases the minds control on the body, while another skill gave him an all around physical boost. "that should be enough," thought Darius.
Hope could feel a change in Darius. He was a simple existence before, but now he oozed killing intent. He mind told her that he was somewhat of a threat, which sounded absurd to her. But her instinct was never wrong. This caused her perception of him to change. "Perhaps this was why teacher sent me here. Somethings can't be felt by electronics." she surmised.
But Darius was not done. He did something that caused Ro and Hope to nearly fall on their butts. His weight value jumped up straight to a hundred tones. This was ridiculous! The weight itself was impressive but he did not pass the record. There were some Spiritknight skills that could boost strength to ridiculous proportions. Darius had a few of those but intentionally decided not to use them.
What freaked the duo was that the weight rose instantly. That meant his elevation of strength was also instantaneous. Which was extremely rare. Strength skills normally took time to activate. And the weights were programmed to sense this. Even in his previous two tests his strength increase had been steady and gradual.
But now…
This meant that Darius could go from normal to a 100 tons of strength within the span of a second. That was a frightening concept. Martialism was all about utilizing your enemy's weakness while increasing control over ones strength. If Darius was to gain control over this ability, he could easily gain a 100 tons of weight in a fraction of a second! Not to mention he could still add more strength skills to his collection.
"Put down the weights, the test is over. You don't have to be gentle, not even a million tons could crack this floor." said Hope.
Darius was relieved and dropped those weights. Then she eyed Darius like a hawk. Darius flexed and stretched his arms a bit as they were in pain. Then Hope shouted, "Measure physical endurance."
Darius saw lights coming from random corners of the room scanning him. Then a new number appeared on the screen, the same size as the weight value. It was a percentage. 99.98 percent was the value. Ro and Hope were once again flabbergasted. Darius was confused so he looked at Hope and said, "Uhm. What does that mean."
Hope sighed and said, "It means after going through all that, you are still capable of using 99.98 percent of your physical capabilities."
The number changed once more, causing Hope to frown, "Excuse me, you are capable of using 99.99 percent." her words were polite but her tone was far from it. Ro added some more of whatever he was smoking to his pipe and said, "Young blood, u be a scary modafocka."
After going through all that strenous work, the boy had barely any strain to his body physcially. He was basically still in tip top shape. This was the most prodigious thing Ro and Hope had ever seen. Physical endurance like this was virtually unheard off, at least to them. Hope send a voice transmission straight to Ro and said, "Does he have some sort of special constitution?"
Some people were born with unique bodies capable of giving them incredible abilities. The flame king constitution made one highly compatible to fire skills and made one immune to most fire attacks. Innate Strength was a unique contsitution as well, but it was so common that it wasn't considered a real one.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Leonardo Montes, the incoming Captain-General, was both feared and loved by his subjects. Souls of Savagery
Souls of Savagery is a series of short stories intended to function much like a comic book series. However, to experience the complete story in a logical order you should read the volumes in numerical order, starting of course, with Volume 1: A Bloodbath by Any Other Name. Each volume is told from a single point of view and that will change from volume to volume. Though, the narrative will require later volumes to return to characters that have been featured previously. I hope you enjoy.
