《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 5 The Evolution

After some time of observation. All he saw were ants laying on the weeds and gathering grass juice; He didn't see any mosquitoes attacking the ants. Then Rico saw that much of the soil was curled, seemingly by earthworms, beneath the dense, green grass. It was common to find earthworms there. As for the number of insects he brought inside, time will tell.
At this precise moment, an earthworm the size of a chopstick unexpectedly emerged from the dirt. The earthworm moved toward an ant that was biting a piece of green grass, then the ant vanished and the earthworm returned to the soil.
Rico was bamboozled. "How did they become carnivores; earthworms should be eating dead plants?" He thought.
All of the insect in my cradle appears to have evolved; the ants are now two centimetres long, and the earthworms consume them. Although the mosquitos have yet to exhibit any unusual behaviour, they should have evolved. Rico ceases his inspection after giving it one more glance.
After all, in the actual world, he was standing there unmoving and blank. What if a snake on the mountain bit him? That would be a drag, no?
Once Rico had stopped his observation, time started to move quickly once more. It was quickly filling up with weeds, ants, insects, and other critters, and Cradle was gradually growing larger. In any case, the Cradle can record how everything inside of it develops. Furthermore, he is now aware that the weed was planted two years ago from now, which is roughly 500,000 times faster than time in the real world.
Other Cradle species, like ants, mosquitoes, and earthworms, have also experienced modification. They have expanded. They appear to have evolved as a result of the additional origin that the genesis of this world left behind. The ants, earthworms, and mosquitoes quickly changed after entering the Cradle and absorbed the mana from the lesser version of Origin. They grew to be more powerful than their real-world counterparts. Their body structure has also changed and contains something distinctive, indicating that this is not a simple evolution.

The ant had become stronger, and their progeny had also experienced significant alterations. In terms of hardness, the carapaces of these second-generation ants are as hard as human fingernails. A geometric alteration has occurred.
Rico was overjoyed with the evolution of those animals since it brought him closer to his ideal world of mythology. What would happen if he absorbed mana as well? Will he instantly morph into a tank of muscle capable of destroying tanks? But he didn't dare to test himself since it was too soon. More monitoring is required.
Following death, the essence, mana, and spirit of an animal are used to feed the world's creatures, grow the Cradle, and purify and cleanse the atmosphere, in that order. The leftover material will be transformed into World Source, allowing Rico to use it on the Cradle in any way he sees fit while also preserving the Origin he held.
The more mana an organism absorbs from the environment, the stronger it becomes. It appears that mana is advantageous because, when absorbed by the body, it strengthens the flesh, making the body more solid and robust. Additionally, it adapts to the creature's genotype and drives evolution, whether it's for the better or worse.
Rico took a long, hot bath when he got home. After cooking—which Rico found to be tedious—it was 7:30 p.m, he decided to ring Old John.
How are you, old bloke? Rico enquired.
"I'm still here, healthy, alive, and lonely, but I have to go right away to take care of a matter at home," John responded.
“Okay, okay, don't worry I'll find someone to love you, just let me work my magic," Rico stated before bidding his farewell and retiring to bed.
When Rico awakened the next morning, he observe the Cradle. At least 1,800 years have passed since yesterday. It may be a peaceful, prosperous environment now, or it could be barren trees and animals.

But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her.
