Katelyn brought her car to a stop under a tree in a beautiful enchanted neighborhood surrounded by inspiring concrete apartment buildings. She stepped out of the car into the day’s absorbent blue sky with sweetened air of baking scones and started walking to a house she had been to on the previous night, passing by a couple of emergency power men fixing a power pole in the ground.

Lei stopped what he was doing in the kitchen and walked to answer the house door. He opened the door and the figure at the doorstep elicited a joyful and pleasing spirit in him, "Perfect timing. I had already missed you." He buoyantly told the figure.

Without a word, Katelyn moved and tightly hugged him, her hands wrapped around his back, "My love," She uttered, the words bringing pleasure inside of her, "That was nobody important to me. He is just a friend." She came to his face, her hands still wrapped around him, "A friend who has this tendency of bringing me gifts and presents. But it is going to stop. I have already informed him to stop."

Lei smiled at her, "I am not worried about any guy out there who comes on to you."

"But why did you leave in such a manner? Were you not mad?"

"No." Lei put a hand on her cheek, "I only felt uncomfortable near the guy. I usually hate him, and a slight nonsense from him could have made me disfigure his face."

Katelyn now smiled, her heart relieved from the tension and stress it had, "I thought you were unhappy with the flowers he came with. Even though he came with a bunch, yours meant a trillion bunch special and I will always treasure it even if it withers. I can bet on anything I have that you are the most romantic man on earth."

Lei’s joyful spirit soared with the lover’s compliment. He gently held her hands and led her to the house kitchen, "Come with me, sweetie."

They walked to the kitchen and stopped, Lei still holding her hands, "My love,” He came to her eyes and focused on them, “You are a beautiful girl, the most prettiest thing God has ever created, and there is no man on the planet, the entire planet, who can't see your exquisite beauty and even ignore it. This means men will be giving their shot on you, some with gifts and presents. Others may be overly obsessed with you and will send gifts and presents almost regularly. It won't be your fault and it is never your fault for the gifts to be coming to you. You didn't choose to be born this beautiful. That is why I will be totally okay with all the gifts you will be given, including bunches over bunches of flowers if ever there will be. I don't want you to ever worry about me, okay?"

Katelyn admiringly and sweetly nodded, looking bright and vivacious. Is there a man like him!

"But," Lei was still at her eyes, "If the gifts and presents start meaning anything to you, or if you let them mean something," He slightly pressed her hands in his, intoning lovingly but firmly, "That will kill me, like literally kill me.” He then changed his tone, looking playful, “But before I die I will cross the line of normal jealousy, and it will make me do nasty things to somebody's son. Got that?"

Katelyn amusedly laughed, "I hear you, baby, that is why if I ever get any gifts or presents from other men, I will send them back and warn them. If they don't listen, I will come and tell them on you."

"Great! Then I break somebody's nose, right?"

"Uh, ah, easy there, tiger. You will go and politely tell him that the girl is booked. If he persistently proves stubborn, then breaking of the nose will be on the table."

Lei as well amusedly laughed, "I like that, sweetie."

Katelyn eyed him with a tender look, clearing her smile, "I will never let gifts and presents from other men inconvenience what we have." She wrapped her hands around his neck with love hovering in her gaze, "I have never felt this good in my life. I will always treasure this feeling in my heart as long as I live. I will never let anything ruin it." She dragged her eyes to the gentleman's lips. Lei understood the gesture and leaned in to kiss her.

When their lips met in a passionate kiss and their arms locked around each other, Katelyn hoped there won't be interruptions this time. She wanted to stay in the passion for as long as possible, even if it would be until the next day.
