"The story of your life is amazing!" Katelyn told the lover with a sweet smile in the house kitchen. It had occurred to her that Lei was exactly the man she had wished to date. She always wished to meet a man with attributes and values of honesty, respect, thoughtfulness, intelligence, charm and fun to interact with. Yet still, a man who was open, communicative and innovative. She still could not believe the wish had come true, and that one could actually find a partner with the desired values and qualities to look for, "I am blessed and lucky to have someone like you." She happily said.

"I will be needing such compliments regularly from you." Lei smiled and winked at her as he mixed light refreshment drinks in two glasses on top of the kitchen counter.

Katelyn stopped him and held his hands in hers, then looked at him with her head tilted and eyes softened, "Lei, what I feel for you is so strong! Ever since I met you it has been growing strong and stronger, and I feel absolutely great with it. I feel on top of the world every time my heart beats of your love. Your love fills my world with happiness. I don't know why this love is so strong on my side, even the mention of your name always flutters my heart in a way that I find special."

She took one hand from Lei’s and tapped at her heart with it, "You are full here; all over my heart. You have incredibly dominated the whole place, and my love, these are not just words from my book because I am a writer with romantic themes. No, these are words I strongly feel and mean. I am telling you what is truly in my heart. You are the first lover of my life, the first and the only man who has completely touched me with happiness and romance. You complete me in all the ways that I had never imagined!"

"Wow!" Lei felt more appreciation and admiration toward her, "I mean that much in your life? I guess it is even more than a blessing and luck to have me in your life."

"Absolutely!" Katelyn spoke from deep inside her heart, "You mean the world to me. I am even sure what I feel for you surpasses what you feel back for me."

Lei laughed, "You have no idea how I feel towards you, woman." He continued mixing the refreshment drinks when his hands were let go, "You are the only woman who has ever disturbed my thoughts, and that is a big deal to any man out there. When we get attention from a woman to the point of making us restless, that woman will mean everything in our lives." He briefly stopped with the drinks and came to her eyes in a loving and reverential manner, "That woman will be a great treasure. You mean exactly that in my life."

"I believe that." Katelyn brightly smiled.

"That's my girl." Lei leaned and gave her a kiss, "Now, get me two plates over there..." He pointed to where kitchen utensils were.

Katelyn went to the kitchen sideboard and got the two plates, "My love, what if you are not you?" She gave the lover the plates, "What if you are not who you are, not human? Let us say you are a being from another planet, a god or a warrior, sent to explore earth- you know, like how science fiction franchise put it. Then you unexpectedly fall in love with me, a human?"

Lei stopped putting bread sandwiches on the plates he had been given and amusedly turned to her, "I think I pretty much recall you saying that science fiction is not your thing, particularly the types that involve aliens or extraterrestrials beings." He looked amusedly interested, "I would really, really like to know where this is coming from."

"Well, your whole life story is fascinating and interesting. Your knowledge and intelligence, the way you remarkably saved me, the way you amazed people at the swimming pool and, throughout the story of your life that you have told me. The list is endless! Your life is marvelously extraordinary and intriguing, and that doesn't look humanly."

Lei felt his heart warmed by the lover's thoughts. Men like to hear such praises and tributes from their women. Tributes and compliments that compare them with gods. His admiration and adoration for her soared with great love and affection.

"Hmm..." He got to her and put his hands around her waist, playfully, "I never knew any human would easily come to know of that. My superiors, the elder gods, are in fact waiting for my final analysis and report." He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "They want to conquer and rule earth, but I have a plan for the two of us. Wanna hear and see if you will like it?"

Katelyn divertingly nodded with love, laughter and joy, then wrapped her arms around his neck.

It was as if he was newly seeing her beauty with the laughter she had let out and the brightness on her face. Oh, God, let it be like this forever, so that her beauty keeps on striking me, and I never look at another woman who may interest me.

"There is this planet next to where mine is." Lei friskily enthused, "It's called planet Vernorexia. The goddess of love lives there. It is a planet full of romance and passion. Its nature and landscape? Totally breathtaking and spectacular. We will go there, I make you immortal and we live forever just the way we feel towards each other, and of course, with a couple of hundreds of kids after every millennium."

Katelyn humorously laughed, "Wow! Sounds like a fantastic plan, apart from where kids come in. Is there a way you can make me barren? Kids is a story that kills love."

"Woman, I can bring back your virginity, restore your boobs to their original versions and bring back your stunning figure, but there is no way on earth, or Vernorexia as a matter of fact, that I will ever make you barren. Five hundred kids after every millennium, period."

Katelyn still laughed, in the best of moods she had even been in her entire life, "Okay. You win. I would wish for us to live exactly like that."

"This is for a start, then." Lei slowly leaned in and tenderly started kissing her lips. This time around he did it gently and affectionately, bringing about a deep and penetrating passion between them.

After a minute, Lei stopped and looked at her. She slowly opened her eyes, with evidence of passion and pleasure in her expression.

"How do you do that?" She whispered, feeling an intense sense of affection and warmth, "How do you make only a kiss feel this incredible!"

"I believe a moment ago we all came to realize that I ain't no human." Lei smiled at her, "Just know that I will be amazingly surprising you with stuff from my planet." He looked at her candidly, "I promise to make you happy and always put a smile on your beautiful face, and make you laugh. That will be my number one priority in this relationship, my love. I promise."

Katelyn nodded with a loving look and a smile into his eyes. The feeling in her heart brought about a satisfying and pleasurable sense of completeness. Is this how a romantic relationship feels like! She wished to have such an amazing feeling as long as she lived.

Lei picked up the plates that had the sandwiches and gave them to her, "Let's go and watch a movie." He then took the glasses of refreshment drinks and they went to the living room.

"My love," Lei put the drinks on the living room table and went to the entertainment rack where he and the friends kept the house movies, "The problem with people living in this house is that they don't have the movie genre you like. We mostly like action and science fiction."

"Pick any interesting action." Katelyn sat on one of the living room couches.

"I know one that you may like." Lei sampled through the movie collection they had, "It is comedy, drama and action. Really beautiful movie."

"Okay." Katelyn nodded with a smile.

After Lei found the movie and was about to put it in the DVD machine, he realized there was no power, "I almost forgot, darling," He disappointedly looked at the lover, "Power has been off for like... an hour and a half ago."

"Yeah." Katelyn also looked disappointed, "When I was coming, I saw power guys out there."

"They are replacing a worn-out pole. But since then? They are almost taking eternity! Though they won't spoil this beautiful moment." Lei said and went to the magazine rack on the table, "There are plenty of nice magazines we can enjoy ourselves with." He took one magazine and joined the lover on the couch she was on.
