Wanjiku and her brother arrived home and were welcomed by an inimical countenance from their eldest sister, "You were supposed to be here four hours ago!" She said with a tone that bespoke her expression, "You are really going to make up for this!"

Bredin happily and excitedly got to her, "Siz, give me a hundred and I will tell you how the Kavinji family is going to change, and I mean CHANGE for good!"

Mariah looked at the brother irritably. She understood his mischievous ways and cunning nature, "What are you talking about?"

Bredin stretched out his hand to her, the other carrying a paper bag, "I ain't talking if there ain't a hundred on my palm."

"I can tell for my pleasure if you get no a hundred from anyone." Wanjiku tightly remarked looking at the young boy.

"Now, listen to me, you two..." Mariah fired querulously and impatiently at both the siblings, "You have wasted my four hours that would cover any a hundred and much more of it that I am supposedly to give out for God-knows-what! So, if you don't start telling me what in the name of Kavinji family you mean..." She looked at Bredin and his stretched hand, "I am going to start with this stupid hand and twist it until I hear the extreme point of your vocal cords!"

Bredin quickly got his hand back, "Okay." He smiled slyly with impish humour while gesturing at Wanjiku, "Our one, here, has just landed herself one of the gods of Paradise Fun. He is not even an American or British, but an Amigo from the South. A nice guy that I will get a lifetime of advantages from_"

"What is this devil talking about?" Mariah looked at Wanjiku.

"GO INSIDE!" Wanjiku ranted at the brother, and he slowly started walking into the house.

"Don't blow this one, young siz." Bredin looked behind while still walking in the house, "I won't handle the humiliation."

Wanjiku was still eyeing him as he got in the house, "I think it is the highest time we should do something about that brat's nature."

Mariah's eyes were also on the brother, "It would be my greatest pleasure, but Darwin warned of trying to change nature." She came back to Wanjiku, "Does he mean you have an admirer?"

A smile started hovering on Wanjiku's lips, "Yeah. A classmate, and white."

"Hmm, from the south?" Mariah interestedly smiled, crossing her arms over the chest, "Which south is this?"

"Argentina." The smile on Wanjiku's lips became sizzling, "He is an amazing and sweet guy. Totally great! I don't know if that is whites or just men from Argentina."

Mariah shortly laughed, "That is a whole new one to the Kavinji family. I think Bredin is right."

"It is, indeed." Wanjiku said with self-admiration, "A white guy interested in me! Sometimes when I think of it, it still surprises me."

"What about you? Are you also interested in him?"

"That is the problem, Mariah." Wanjiku said wryly, "He is great. Absolutely great. But I don't feel him! I don't feel any butterflies, tinglings or goosebumps. All I feel for him is the outward happiness when we interact."

"That shouldn't eat you much." Mariah comforted, "Just keep on knowing each other until you are completely certain about him. Let the feelings take all the time it needs."

Wanjiku nodded with approval. She hoped when she completely knew the gentleman, she would be able to feel something for him, since he looked complete in all the gentlemanly traits.
