Katherine sobbed loudly with a sense of overwhelming gloom weighing her down. Then suddenly, her pain was replaced by bitterness and self-hatred. She hated herself for the simple task of not making her man happy.

She still didn't understand why her body could be repulsive to somebody her heart and mind loved. A person who filled her world with love, happiness and affection. A person who was now likely to be a past in her life. The thought further pained her and made her hate herself more on the possibility.
