《Emerald》78

I ran as quickly as I could down to the great hall.
As I entered, the Slytherin house was being escorted out by Mr Filtch.
Students were running in all different directions.
Once of the large windows, behind where the professors sat, had a large hole shattered in it.
"Whats going on!?" I yelled as I approached Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
"You missed it! McGonagall and Snape had a wand duel. Then, Snape flew out of here!" Ron yelled.
"What do you mean by that?" I questioned.
"Snape is a deatheater." Hermione whispered.
"Why is everyone running?" I asked.
Professor McGonagall ran up to us, and took a long deep breath before she spoke.
"Hogwarts is in danger. The Order is on their way. We need to secure the grounds." McGonagall spoke proudly.
"Why isn't she locked up in the dungeons with the Slytherins? Being Draco's girlfriend and all?" A second year Gryffindor boy spat in my direction.
"Keep your comments to yourself, she is not a risk to us!" McGonagall snapped at the boy.
"I'm not his girlfriend, you ignorant biscuit head!" I spat back at the boy, flipping him off.
McGonagall turned her head to my direction quickly, and a small smile appeared on her lips.
"Sure you're not." Professor McGonagall winked, before walked away.
"Whats the plan Harry?" I quickly asked.
"Ron, Hermione, go to the chamber of secrets. Find a basilisk fang, and destroy the Horcrux. I'm going to look for Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem." Harry replied.
Ron and Hermione nodded in agreement.
"What am I supposed to do?" I questioned.
"Just... start looking!" Harry exclaimed, before running off.
"Harry! Harry!" Luna yelled as she followed him out.
Where do I even start looking?

Only things I've ever lost, were things that them damn pixies took.
If I were a pixie, where would I hide something?
Somewhere no one would look.... but I guess that's the whole point.
Where would be a place that is hard to look?
The room of requirement.
"The room of requirement!" I yelled out loud to myself.
I ran and ran, back up to the 7th floor, and into the room of requirement.
Cluttered, it was.
Random things piled everywhere.
That's where I found myself standing in front of the vanishing cabinet.
The vanishing cabinet that Draco had mended.
The vanishing cabinet that he used to let the deatheaters in.
Oh Draco, how did everything go so wrong so fast.
Did he even have any good left in him?
After all this time, did he have a heart still?
Or had it been shattered into dust?
Anger grew inside of me, the more and more I stared at the cabinet.
It truly was beautiful.
It was made with dark, beautiful hard wood.
Tall and eloquently crafted, like Draco.
There was only one thing I could do in that moment.
Which was picking up a hammer that was near by, and start beating the absolute piss out of the thing.
I beat the cabinet till I was blue in the face.
Chunks of the wood went flying, as I continued to hit it repeatedly with the hammer.
I took all of my anger and frustration out on it.
I had about 18 years of pent up rage in me.
It felt good to release it.
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" I screamed, as I beat the last remaining pieces with the hammer.
"What are you doing?" A voice echoed from behind me.
I turned around to see Harry standing behind me.

"Making a sandwich... what the hell does it look like I'm doing?" I asked sarcastically.
Harry stared at me, with a confused yet terrified look in his eyes.
"What are you doing here?" I asked Harry.
"After talking to Rowena, I realized it had to be up here." Harry stepped closer.
"Took you long enough to figure that one out." I scuffed.
"Just help me find it." Harry rolled his eyes at me.
After looking for a while, Harry held up a small box.
Inside the box was Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem.
Just in time, Ron and Hermione showed up.
"It's beautiful." I gasped as he held the crown up in the air.
"Well, well," a voice echoed from behind us," what brings you here, Potter?"
There stood Draco, along with Goyle and Blaze.
"I could ask you the same." Harry replied, as we turned toward the three of them.
They all had their wands pointed at us.
"You have something of mine, I'd like it back." Draco hissed.
Harry glanced at the wand in his hand.
He looked back at Draco, and lifted the wand into the air.
"What's wrong with the one you have?" Harry asked.
"It's my mother's. It's powerful, but it's not the same." Draco spoke sternly.
Draco looked at me, locking eyes with me.
"It doesn't quite understand me." Draco said, before moving his eyes back to Harry.
"Why didn't you tell her?" Harry quickly asked, "Bellatrix, you knew it was me. You didn't say anything. You begged them not to hurt Courtney too."
Don't bring me into this Harry.
Draco looked at me once more, and a wave of sorrow flowed over his face.
"Come on, Draco. Don't be a prat. Do it!" Goyle barked in Draco ear.
"Expelliarmus!" Hermione casted at Draco, knocking the wand out of his hand.
"Avada kedavra!" Goyle fired back, missing us by a hair.
"You little!" Ron yelled with anger, as he chased after the three of them.
It was kind of funny seeing them run, while Ron chased them.
"You almost hit my girlfriend!" Ron's scream echoed.
The room fell silent for a moment, before Ron's horrified cries filled the air.
Ron came running back.
"Goyle set the bloody place on fire!" Ron yelled, as he ran past us.
The room began filling with bright red flames.
"Oh, shit. Run!" I yelled.
"Don't kill her! Don't touch her!" Draco yelled from the distance.

They felt the golden dust of their divinity drift away from them, and the message of that wind became clear… This Winter will never end so that the Earth will.
