《The New World Rising : How to Build a Dungeon Kingdom》Chapter 21 - The Second Goblin Village

Two weeks after I divided the labor force to optimize our efforts in developing the New World, I decided to lead a small group to pay a visit to one of the other goblin villages marked on the map we received from our sole trade partners. This time, I decided to take different races with me rather than Lilith to make sure the goblins believe us on sight as I lost my summoning skill. This time, I am not a one-trick man that can appear before the outer world goblins like a prophet. I need to make my case with support. I can also mention that we learned of their existence and location from our trade partners, but that might be risky - against even the slightest of chances that the village I decided to pay a visit to is hostile against the one we received the map from, our relationship might go sour with the new one. I do not want to endanger our partnership when it’s not even there to begin with. So, I will keep this information to myself and tell them that we found them by chance.
I gathered goblins, hobgoblins, and some imps. I eventually decided not to take any orcs with me as we were only taking three fanged wolves and no wargs - orcs could ride wargs, but not three fanged wolves because they were too big. I wanted this to be done as quickly as possible. Plus, three different races should be enough to convince some goblins to trade with us. Especially because we are already bringing the exact stuff they want to see. That this, of course, shiny stones.
Although I am not an experienced merchant who has years of trading experience with goblins, I can already confidently say that there is nothing a goblin would be unwilling to give to you when you bring enough shiny stones to the table. I am very lucky to have an interdimensional storage. Not only does it come handy now in our trades with the goblin tribes, but I believe it will be ineffably useful in the future when our trade partners increase in number and diversity. That is, of course, assuming that we will be able to find different trade partners on the outer world who are willing to trade with a country of monsters. Still even if we are unable to find such trade partners I believe this interdimensional storage will prove useful in different ways.

After mounting a three fanged wolf myself, I led the group to the cave entrance. Soon I noticed how they were looking at their surroundings as if they were just born. That moment I realized that they were out of the cave for the first time. If, however, everything goes smoothly they will be able to go outside the cave almost every day. I feel sympathy for them. For some reason, I want to provide them with the opportunity to see the infinite sky when their lift their head. Is this an effect of my passive skills, or is this a motive every leader possesses? Essentially, does not working for the benefit of one’s country mean working for the benefits of the citizens of that country? Is it not my duty to not only protect my domain, but develop it?
Or is it maybe because I was a human? According to what Lilith said, no dungeon master had expanded their domain to the outer world like I did. Did she not also mention that it is very rare for a human to reincarnate as a dungeon master? Are these two connected, or am I overthinking. It makes sense, though, at least to me it does. If we keep our racial characteristics or habits when we reincarnate, even as a subconscious will, this would explain.
While pondering about these questions, I did not notice how much time had passed. Standing in front of around 20 armed goblin guards, I order everyone to dismount the wolves. Also, these wolves have three fangs in both left and right sides of their mouth, so would it not be more accurate to call them six fanged wolves? Anyway, I will just keep calling them three fanged wolves and do my best to strike a good deal with this tribe. We can hopefully get some more stock animals or tools. And if I catch a sight of something that might be of any use, I also want that.
