'I can't believe he lied to me.' You thought angrily.

It was weeks ever since you last saw him. He didn't give you his phone number nor his address so you have no ways of communicating with him. He never called you nor invite you to his place so you completely had no clue about his whereabouts.

"Fuck it, I have to find a way how to communicate with him." You whispered to yourself.

You really wanted to talk to him about matters. Really important ones like, why did he not tell you he escaped, and why did he have to lie. Because, in a relationship, trust is very important factor, and he was lacking it.

Relationship, are you really in a relationship? An annoying voice whispered in your head. What if he was only playing with you?

'Shut the fuck up. He said so himself.' You shot back. 'He can't be playing.'

The voice was gone, thankfully. But a new voice came in, it was your dad.

"Sweetie, your mom's calling us for dinner." He said. You nodded and exited your room with him.

"Dad, is it true.." You started to say. "Is it true that someone escaped the jail?"

He gave you a grim expression. "Yes it is."

"And that the guy who escaped...was 2413?"

"Mhm, he's the guy you took care of, you know." He told you, like you ever forgot.

"When did he escape?" Your voice became softer. Would it be better to hear it from your dad or Kanato himself?

"Weeks ago. I think just before Valentines." There's the answer. The reason was obvious to why he left. But he could teleport, why not leave earlier?

"You have nothing to do with his escape right?" Your dad suddenly turned stern.

"No, of course not." You lied. "Why would I?"

Your dad patted your back. "Good."
