Uneventful days and boring weekends had to pass before Monday arrived. Every thought you had was about Kanato, and it was the first time you were excited to go to school.
Your thoughts were mixed though, it was a combination between good ones and bad ones. Sure you were excited that he's back and finally free.
Free? Are you sure? The voice that gives you doubts would always counter with you whenever you think for a second that Kanato was free. You heard it from the police yourself, 2413 is a free man.
Then how come you have this notion that he wasn't?
"You're spacing out again."
Keith's loud voice pierced your train of thoughts, you looked at him with a questioning look.
"So what?"
"Do you even know the reason our mother sent me to drive you?"
"No. Why, should I know?"
He let out a frustrated sigh and ruffled his hair. "She thinks your still depressed and shit that's why she's counting on ME and that's why she woke me up in an EXTREMELY early time."
You rolled your eyes. "Yet you didn't stop and dropped me off somewhere near home, just so you can return early in the house." You pointed out.
He scoffed. "You sound like you don't know your own mom. Do you think that she'll believe that I truly dropped you off when I'll be returning in such a short time?"
You were supposed to retort back when he stopped the car. "Get down, we're here." He told you.
Once you shut the door, it took you minute to realize that he didn't scamper off quickly. He was still there, looking at something.
"Aren't you going to go?" You mouthed to him. The moment those left your lips, he quickly went away.

You turned to the direction he was looking at, only to find the trio of brothers. They were also watching you, the two other boys had a smirk and Kanato's got a frown
"Who was that?" He asked you once you walked up to them.
"Chill that was my brother." You said, sensing jealousy and anger from him.
"If you needed a ride to school, you should've told me." He grabbed your hand and
held it protectively, glaring at the two. "See, no one's sharing her, and she wouldn't allow it either. She knows that she's mine alone, don't you, Y/N?"
His actions sent your heart palpitating as you nodded. "Yeah."
"Tch, fine let's go before we get late." The red head's, who was called Ayato, smirk was wiped off as he and his brother walked away.
"Those shit heads." Kanato grumbled, still not letting go of you.
