《Fake Girlfriend || NamjoonxReader FF》Ch. 9- A Fake Date? pt. 2

As I walked though the hall after our last class, right behind Namjoon, I got more and more concerned about him.
He was acting so... awkward. But then again, I wouldn't blame him for feeling uncomfortable around me. After thinking back to what happened at the cafeteria, it probably made him feel so embarrassed.
I just hoped that he wouldn't feel like that towards me for too long. He was a special person to me. I felt like I could myself around him, and all the bad things just disappeared.
From his adorable dimples to simply being in his presence, I felt relived.
We both went out the doors, and after some time, arrived at the bus stop. While I waited, I decided to sit on a metal bench I saw.
When I lowered my hand to touch it, it was burning hot. Like flaming.
I yelped in pain as I yanked my hand from the seat.
I felt arms wrap around me from behind and drag me away from the bench.
"What were you thinking? As hot as it is, you shouldn't touch metal."
My arm still shivered after touching it. I hesitantly looked to Namjoon who moved from behind me, the grabbed my hand gently to look at it.
"I -I'm sorry..." I felt like gushing my eyes out from the pain.
"There is no need for you to be sorry. Just be more careful."
I nodded, then wiped my face with my other hand.
"It doesn't look like it was bad burn. I think you will be fine" He released my hand, then moved his hands by his sides.
"Ahh... okay. Thank you."
He smiled, and as he did, I noticed the bus arrive behind him.
We climbed into it, and took a seat.

I was glad that these seats weren't sizzling like the one outside was.
As we rode the bus, Namjoon seemed to be like in another dimension. He was staring straight forward, almost seeming like whatever he was thinking about filled up and took over in his mind.
I simply pursed my lips, not daring to bother him. A lot happened today, and I didn't want to make any more mistakes.
He suddenly, without a warning, darted his head aggressively towards me. His eyes stared directly into mine, and he leaned slightly to me to lower his head to mine.
Although he was acting really direct to me, I did notice that he must have been slightly nervous due to his body shaking ever so slightly, as sweat formed on his head.
I began getting worried about "Namjoon?.. Are you feeling oka-"
"Let's date Y/N."
I widened my eyes and dropped my jaw in shock.
"Wh-what did you say?-"
"Did you really not hear me the first time?" He deeply sighed then moved his glace away from me, and leaned against the window. "You have no idea how hard it was for me to say that."
I honestly had no idea to handle this. After making so many mistakes, I was so afraid to say something wrong. I didn't want to hurt him... he was the only one that makes me smile, and I don't ever want to lose him.
"I-I mean I did hear you the first time... I just.. was not expecting you to say that.."
"So.. what's your answer?"
I felt like wrapping myself into a ball and disappearing into thin air. My mind was too clouded to even think of a answer to that question.
He furrowed his brows. "You are my girlfriend for the time being, so why not?"

"FAKE girlfriend, plus, Why would we go on a date.. It doesn't make any sense to me..."
"Then let it be a 'fake date'."
He seemed to passionate about this. I wondered a little where he ever got this idea.
Twisting his hair on one finger, he looked back at me, but not as frightening as before. In fact, this time it was more gentle. From his sparkling, innocent eyes to his baby like dimples, I felt like seeing this heavenly face forever.
"I mean, if we are a fake couple, then this shouldn't affect us, right? Its just a fake date. Nothing more or less. No strings attached. Plus, it would better convince people that we are together."
I mean, as long at it is fake then I suppose it could be fine. This shouldn't affect us at all.
"O-okay" I hesitated a bit as I made my final answer.
He looked at me, surprised. To be honest, I was as surprised as he probably was. I think my answer just feel out my mouth. I didn't even think it though right.
There was an awkward silence between us, so I interrupted.
"So, let's go on a fake date"
He cracked a smile, and nodded. "Fake date it is"

LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
