Hawaii
Thursday, the arrival.
Laura was hyped as ever. She couldn't wait for her little mini vacation with Matty and Dusty. She was thrilled that they'd spend some more time together before he leaves again. The annoying part though is that Nash was tagging along with Cameron. Cameron wasn't a big deal. Laura came to agree he was a chill dude. But Nash... he's just too much. He curses more than Cameron and Dusty together, talks about more sexual things intended... and is a cocky jerk. So to say the least, Laura couldn't stand his natural existence on planet earth.
How lovely.
She shook the thought away and walked inside her room with Dusty, both of them, setting their luggage down and laying on the bed from a very exhausting flight.
"Goddamm." Laura let out, taking off her glasses. "I'm tired," She lets out with a yawn.
"What?! Oh hell no, you're coming with me, we're gonna have dinner," Laura's best friend starts going on from the bathroom, walking out fully dressed and ready. Laura only groan.
"Dusty, pleaseeee, I'm really tired," Dusty's shoulders slump.
"You must be real tired if you're turning down food," Laura lets out a tired laugh.
"Yes. I am. Just go and tell Matt I said hey,"
Dusty frowns and sits next to Laura. "What's on your mind?" Laura shrugs.
"Tell meeeee," Laura groans with a smirk.
"Stop whining, I have jetlag," Dusty snorts.
"Hawaii was a three hour trip, you can't have jetlag, now.. tell me what's on your mind."
Laura sighs, turning to her side to face Dusty. "I've been thinking about what you said,"
"About getting a new car? Because that piece of junk is literally-"
"Dusty no." Laura cuts her off. "And don't talk bad about my baby." Her best friend grins sheepishly.

"I was talking about what you said before we came here... about me loving Matt." Dusty's gray eyes go wide and she clamps her hand over her mouth.
"You love him?" She whispers.
"I don't know. Like.. I'm so young to love.. how would I know what love is?" Dusty composes herself.
"Laura.. we all have different ideas of love. Sometimes love is something like not being able to live without that person. It's sometimes feeling as if you're not completed if they're not with you. Sometimes.. love is just the way the person makes you laugh until you can't breathe." Laura was starting to feel more overwhelmed because there was a big possibility she's fallen in love with a boy she's known since she was a little kid. Her eyes start to get blurry and she lets out this squeak.
"I don't wanna cry," She whispers to her best friend.
"Then don't."
"I'm scared. I've never felt this way towards anyone before..I don't want to get hurt, Dust." Dusty plays with her hair, sighing with a sad smile.
"Sometimes, the worst part of falling in love is getting hurt, but in the end it's worth all the pain. Trust me love," Laura sniffles and nods her head. She flutters her eyes closed drifting off into a deep sleep, while Dusty puts a blanket over leaving the room to the guys.
Dusty was worried about her best friend. She wanted her to be happy and actually embrace her feelings. But she won't say a damn word to Matty. It's obvious he has some type of affection towards her, the way he tries to make her smile it's adoring. The way he looks at her.. every girl wants to be looked at like that. And Laura is too blind to see that.

Literally.
----
The way to the beach was kind of Turing considering the flight but Dusty couldn't wait to see Cameron. They started to develop feelings for one another. She could tell Cameron had a thing for her, but she was never the one to admit things first.
When Dusty got to the shore she already saw the guys setting up and getting things ready for the small together. Matthew saw her coming and frowned. "Where's Lo?" He asked, walking towards Dusty.
"She's, uh not feeling well," I lied, partially. Dusty knew Laura was having a war with her feelings right now and needed some alone time.
"I'll go see her," Worry flashed all over Matt, and before Dusty could protest, Matthew was already running back to the hotel.
---
Laura was having a hard time sleeping. She wanted this god awful headache to go away. She wished she didn't feel this way. She wished her feelings for Matt would fade. She wished she didn't care that having him feel the same way mattered. She wished that she could disappear at this moment.
But she couldn't. And she hated the way she was feeling. Ever since Matthew came back into her life, things have been harder. She's fighting this war inside of her heart.
She couldn't bare it at all. She despised every inch of it. She hated when Matthew would be near her, causing this electrifying feeling in her soul, like both of them were setting off charges. She hated the way he made her feel and she wanted it all to go away.
Sadly we don't get what we want all the time.
Moments later she hears the door open, not bothering to look the other side. "Dusty, I told you I'm not feeling well, you-"
"I think it's sad you get my gender wrong, Lo," Laura's heart stops beating and she furrows her brows together.
Turning to the other side and sitting up, "How'd you get in?" She noticed the shirt Matt was wearing wasn't buttoned and his toned abdomen was bare. His skin was flawless with freckles here and there.
He smiles sheepishly. "I uh got a spare key," Laura rolls her eyes with a small smile.
"Anyways, are you feeling alright?"
"What makes you think-"
"I came barging in and you said you weren't feeling well and Dusty said you weren't feeling well, too."
I snort. "There you go then." Her chest felt like it was caving in just looking at him. So she decided to close her eyes. She felt the bed dip beside her and she huffed.
"Matt, can you leave. Please." It was more of a demand than a question.
"No." He said bluntly.
"Seriously-" Laura turns to face him to have his own face proximity close to hers. Dangerously. A small breath left her mouth and looked into his eyes. The color of them never ceasing to take her breath away.
His hand rested on Laura's, her mouth parting.

A Simple Bar In The Multiverse
I'm Lucas, 30 years old and single. I went to drink with some friends that day and when I was walking home, I found some weird glowing door on a wall on which I've never seen anything before. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I instantly tried to open it. Behind it was that weird silver light which I also touched with my bare hand. Don't judge me! I was very drunk. It has nothing to do with my intelligence... Anyway, I seemed to have been transported in a magical room and an invisible female entity has just just given me an offer: Turn this bar into the best bar in the universe where you'll work forever. In exchange I would get great powers with great responsab... Wait! That's spiderman. Anyway, great powers and unlimited lifespan. I think I'll say yes... Follow the story of Lucas, the manager of the Simple Bar, while he turns this seemingly innocuous bar into one that becomes known in the entire Multiverse. Or at least in a big part of it. I mean, the Multiverse is virtually infinite, so... A part of the story will take place in the Divine Realm of the Wanderer's Realms from my first novel 'The Life of a Goddess and a Fox in the Cultivation World '. I will post 1 chapter every week at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday.
