"Here goes" I said to Harrison as I pressed answer on the FaceTime call from our parents. "Harrison! Y/n! How are you? Mum beamed. "Hi Mum" Harrison said. "We are good thanks, how about all of you?" I asked. "Well your father is watching tv, Charlotte is in her room and I'm sat in the kitchen" she said laughing. "Um...is it possible if all of you could be there please. I have something to tell you" I said nervously. The phone started shaking in my hand so Harrison took it from me. "Guys!! Y/n wants us to tell us something!" Mum shouted. Dad came in first. "Hello! How are you?" He asked. "We are good thanks Dad. You?" Harrison answered. "Yeah not to bad thanks" he said. "CHARLOTTE!" Dad hollered. "ALRIGHT I'M COMING!" Charlotte shouted as she entered the kitchen. "Hey Lottie" I said. "Hey" she replied. "Now what did you want to tell us?" Mum asked. I looked at Harrison and he took my hand in his. "Um...I am so sorry okay. Please know that I didn't mean for this to happen" I said starting to well up. "Y/n darling. What's wrong?" Dad said concerned. "I'm 7 weeks pregnant" I said. Mum's jaw hit the floor, Dad's eyes widened with anger and Charlotte was grinning with happiness. "Say that again" Dad said getting angrier. "I'm pregnant Dad" I said gripping Harrison's hand tighter. "Before you say anything, the father was killed in an accident" Harrison butted in. Dads eyes were still filled with anger and I realised he was not going to calm down. Mum starts crying. "Oh my poor baby" she sobbed. "I can't believe it. I'm going to be an auntie!" Charlotte squealed in excitement.
"Y/n, how could you? Your 18!" Mum said still crying. "Mum I'm so sorry. I know I'm 18 but I've got everyone around to help me" I said. "I'm so disappointed in you y/n. We talked about this. You are coming back over here and that's final" Mum said as she stopped crying and I could see the anger forming. "I am not going back! I hated it and still do!" I said getting angry myself. "I am your mother and you will listen to me!" She said. "Mum, calm down. If she doesn't want to come back then she's doesn't have to!" Charlotte said. I could feel myself at breaking point. "NO I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU! THE ONLY PERSON I'LL LISTEN TO IS NIKKI! SHE'S BEEN MORE OF A MOTHER TO ME THESE LAST 3 YEARS THAN YOU! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN OVER TO SEE US! ALWAYS EXCUSES" I shouted and left the room. I could hear Mum crying. "She's right Mum. You lot haven't been over in 3 years and you always do make excuses. You know if we could we would come to you but we don't have the money" Harrison said. "She's 18 Harrison, surely you can understand that?" Mum and Dad both said. "Yes I can and I'm going to be here to support her so are the Holland's. So it's up to you now what you do" Harrison said still keeping calm. "Well I'm sorry son, but I don't want any part of it" Dad said. "Me neither" Mum said. "I do!" Charlotte perked up. "What!" Mum and Dad said in unison. "They're right! We haven't been to see them. The least we can do is support y/n" she said standing up. "Harrison, I may not be able to come over, but I will damn well be here if you and y/n need anything" Charlotte said leaving the room. "I'm sorry, but we cannot support her when we don't believe in it" Dad said. "Right, well you've made your choice" Harrison said and ended the call.

Enter the world of Cespes, a land of magic, mystery, and monsters. Now, the Ancient Gods have gone silent even as magic enters the Golden Era.
