《Hadar #Watty2014》Chapter 6

~Fina~
I took his hand, maybe he could keep Jex away from me. Walking back into the large ball room, people were dancing around. As the music played something like classical, we headed to a back corner. There in the back holding a glass of something tonic, was a even taller man. His hair was jet black, along with his clothes. He had a similar mask on, only his was black. The blues of his eyes, popped with the dark contrast.
“Jackson this is….” The man stopped, looking at me.
“Fina” I answered, giving a weak smile.
“Fina” He smiled, as he left me with his friend Jackson. Those blues watched my ever muscle twitch. Handing the glass to his friend, he smiled.
“Thanks Kem” Looking at the man who walked me. It was weird, standing here with someone I didn’t know.
“So Fina, would you care to dance?” His hand proved to be larger then mine, as he waited for me to take it. My brain was saying no, as I looked up to answer his smell made me rethink. Jex was headed this way, and for the life of me I didn’t want to be anywhere near that man.
“Yes” Quickly taking his hand, and leading us onto the floor. Pulling him closer to me, I hid from Jex like some nerd from a bully. It proved to work, Jackson’s size was remarkably bigger then mine and he acted like a wall. Sighing it dawned on me, that I was slow dancing with a man I knew nothing about. His hands were strong, but applied the right amount of pressure to my lower back.
Not once did he attempt to cop a feel, which I found refreshing since all the guys I knew were perverts. The song was nice, and as we turned slowly I forgot all about Jex. This was nice, his warmth on me felt nice. The smell he gave off was must and honeysuckle, which seemed to suit him nicely. I mentally slapped myself for feeling all gooey in his arms, as he leaned his head to me.
“You look stunning” My cheeks flared as his peppermint breath, whisked my ear.
“Thank you” Whispering back, as it was about all I could do.
“You alright?” Again my face heated.
“Yes, its just stuffy in here” Pulling out the girlish move, of fanning myself with my hand.
“Shall we get some fresh air?” I nodded. Relieved he didn’t give me shit, about leaving the dance floor before the song was over. Walking me out, he kept one hand on my lower back and careful moved through the crowd. Though it seemed like everyone, just got out of his way. Odd really. Walking onto a balcony, I leaned my butt against the railing, taking in a deep breath.
“Better?” He asked, sounding a little concerned.
“Much.” Giving him a smile.
“You seem to lack, the excitement the other woman have for this?” Pushing his hands into his deep pockets.

“I have a confession” Titling my head, with a smile.
“Oh?” Looking sweet.
“I don’t care for these things, there more bothersome then enjoyable” giggling, I took the time to look him over. Tall was an understatement, he was at least another two feet off my 5’7” height. At least two of me could hide behind him, and his hands were big enough to cover my face. The black spiked hair that fell in every direction, told me he wasn’t into caring what people thought of him. The stunning blue eyes, showed he was a lot deeper then most would know about.
His suit showed he knew how to dress, but wouldn’t let on about it. What through me for a loop was the black combat boot, he tried to hid under his slacks. I chuckled a little more, as he leaned against the railing next to me.
“I’d have to agree with you Fina. These things aren’t my idea of a good time” Grumbling as we watched the packs, mingle and dance. Something epic blew up in my head, and I couldn’t contain the laughter anymore.
“Something funny?” He drummed.
“I was just thinking” Turning to face him.
“Do tell?” Purring out the sin full words.
“How pissed would they be, if we pulled the fire alarm?” His eyes sparkled with mischief, before a deep laughter made me feel tingles thought my body.
“I do believe they’d piss themselves” Chuckling as his eyes swept over my face.
“Yes, but no one would be the wiser, as they would all be soaked.” Covering my mouth, as I laughed.
“Very true” He hummed, looking over the people.
“So Jackson, what pack are you and Kem from?” His expression, changed to plain.
“Were from Green wood” Gulping, he watched me.
“Are you scared of me now?” He asked, a little hesitant.
“No, but I heard your Alpha was a hard ass.” A deep grin slipped onto his lips.
“That he is”
“Your territory is right up against the Dark forest, is it not?” He nodded, before pulling himself onto the railing.
“It is, but there isn’t anything to fear from the Dark forest”
“Ha tell that to our elders” Scoffing, he chuckled before taking my hand.
“Are you always this blunt about things?”
“I try to be” He had pulled me closer to him, and for the life of me I didn’t mind.
“How do you like being in the River Stone pack?” My face scrunched up, even the name made me twist on the inside.
“Honestly?” I asked.
“Would you have it any other way?” Raising his brow. Smiling I shook my head no.
“I don’t want to be there anymore, I mean my parents are there. But I don’t feel like its my home.” Sighing raking my fingers through my hair.
“Why not join another pack?” Watching my expression, I shrugged.

“Never gave it much thought, besides I heard there is a lot of paperwork for a unmated new member. Its possible I wouldn’t be excepted.” It was all true. If your mate wasn’t from another pack, moving by yourself was almost unheard of. And even then it took months to get the paperwork, to clear through both Alphas. It would be almost impossible for me to move, without a mate.
“I could fix that” He announces.
“Huh? How?” I was seriously interested. If he could get me away from Jex, I would be his slave...not that I’d tell him that.
“The Alpha is a hard ass, but he’d agree to have you” Dropping down, he was almost on top of me.
“Really?” I was jumping up and down like a child. Laughing he nodded.
“Yes, I can speak with him for you if you like?”
“Please, I’d really love that” without thinking my arms looped around his neck, hugging him. It wasn’t till his arms hugged me back, that I realized what I had done.
“Oh, I’m so sorry. That was rude” Biting my lip, I bowed my head.
Shit he was probably thinking I’m a bimbo……
“No worries, its not everyday, I get hugged by a stunning angel.” My redden cheeks thickened, as I nodded.
~Jackson~
These parties make me want to kick kittens, I mean really why the hell are we even here. I could be working on paperwork, running drills with my men. Hell I could be sleeping, that would be a better use of my time then this. Sipping on a scotch, I watch as mindless dancing goes on. There is something to be said, about woman over the age of thirty dressing like princesses. I swear if there not dressed like that, there dressed like sluts. Another sip as I need to numb my brain, before I fall victim to bored.
Its only then do I feel the pull from my Beta, he’s been gone a while. Lucky bastard.
~I found her~ I swear he was jumping up and down.
~Found who, Kem?~ Growling, who the hell cares.
~The war bear girl, she’s here~ If he’s messing with me, I’ll string him up.
~Where?~ refilling my glass.
~She went into the woods, trying to get away from her Alpha. She’s wearing a black angel outfit~ Really? That’s interesting.
~Black angel?~ What’s a black angel.
~She’s a fallen Angel~ He sounded annoyed.
~Aww, good. See if you can’t find out what her Alpha wants with her~
~On it~
Grinning like a thief in the night, I was now half pleased I attended this lame ass party. If this really was the girl, then I was going to spend every second in her presents. Kem had informed me, that she was cute and had a sad look about her when she headed home. That alone made me want to find her, but for the Alpha of Green wood it wouldn’t of fit right. She could know about me, the rumors about me were all true. I didn’t let you live, if you passed into my territory, so when my Beta let her go I was beyond pissed.
Something in the way he said, she wasn’t going to tell made me feel a little bit better. Perhaps she doesn’t like her pack, maybe her mate is abusive. Does she even have a mate. That thought bothered me. The dark forest is my home, away from home. The legend of Hadar is thick, in those parts. Being that I was named after my father, I am feared greatly. The ruler of the dark, pain and suffering follow me everywhere I walk. The tails go on and on, some truer then others. But never the less, if this little bear killer were to know who I was she would flee faster then a blinking eye.
No I wouldn’t let that happen, measures had to be taken. At least then if she wasn’t what I was looking for, I could tell her who I was and that would do the job in its self. Growing impatient I linked him.
~Any info?~ Tapping my foot.
~Yes, she’s not in trouble with her alpha. But she says their not on good terms.~ Interesting.
~Umm, bring her to me. Don’t tell her who I am. I don’t need her scared if me~
~Yes Alpha~
Sipping my drink a little longer, Kem walks in with a stunning black winged angel at his side. Her hair as dark as night, while her grey eyes hold new meaning to the word breathtaking. My palms grow sweaty as I rub them against my slacks, wishing for a change in boxers right about now. The tight outfit, gives her curves more definition. Kem was full of shit, she’s not cute she gorgeous. What the hell was a beauty like this, doing out in the middle of the dark forest.
The black boots were a nice touch, and I smiled inwardly. She had to be the only woman in here, who didn’t look like a princess tramp. Thank god.
“Jackson this is….” My beta looked to her, as he said my middle name.
“Fina” She replied, sounding sweeter then melting sugar. Her name was perfect, easy to say and rolled right off your tongue. Her left shoulder was bare, containing no mark and I grinned sheepishly. Handing my glass to Kem, he smiled giving me a wink before leaving us. Feeling like I needed to do something, I stuck my hand out to her. Asking if she’d like to dance, her look was that of a frightened deer. As she seemed to want to say no, she went the other way. Grabbing my hand and pulling me onto the dance floor, strong grip for a girl her size.
