《Sarafina De Luca》Chapter 36

In the years I've lived, I thought I didn't need anyone but myself. At every hard moments in life there would always be a solution, at some point everything would become okay, become normal but that never happens because every time it becomes okay and normal, something goes wrong, sometimes I would think this is life and I can't do anything about it but keep fighting like I am,
"Oh come on! Sarafina, you had this coming!" She says and I glared at her,
She reached for something behind her and I wasn't surprised when I saw a dagger in her hand, she took steps closer to me "I trusted you guys!" I said and she smirked "We never asked you to," She says "I trusted you with my life," I continued, she stopped and she stared at me with her eyes so cold,
"That just proves how pathetic you are," Her voice held venom and hatred,
"How was I supposed to know that the friends I thought as family would be one of those people who had ruined my life and his," I paused and waited for the reaction I expect,
"Shut up! You know nothing!" She exclaimed, angrily
"Then tell me! Bri," I said,
"I've had enough!" I heard another voice say and my eyes snapped towards Joshua before I could do anything or say, I felt a sharp pain at the side of my head and I fell to the ground. I closed my eyes and clenched my jaw.
I looked up and met Joshua's raging eyes, the look he had on his face was new to me. He looked like a monster which is being let free "Oh Joshua," I said with a chuckle "Always the gentleman" I say as I stand up,

I felt another presence behind me and I didn't have to turn behind to see who it is when I already know,
My hands moved and my eyes were glued to the laptop screen, It's been an hour or maybe more inside my office and in front of this laptop,
Suddenly, a knock broke the silence in the room and I looked up "Come in," I said and I heard the door open and my eyes found Gavino's,
"Gavino," I greeted with a nod and he walked silently to the seat opposite me "Is there something wrong?" I asked after a while,
"You have locked yourself inside this office for hours, take a break." He says and I stopped typing and met his gaze,
"Are you worried, Fratellino (Little Brother)?" I asked with a small smile and he glared "I'm serious, Antonio" He said and I hummed in response.
There was another loud knock and I leaned back my seat "Don't tell me you brought the-" I was cut off when the door to the room was pushed open and I saw Vito enter in, his face held a panicked look,
"Vito, what's wrong?" I asked, waiting patiently for his answer.
"It's Sarafina, I can't find her anywhere," He replied, I scrunched my brows and checked the time,
It's been two and a half hours since she left, why isn't she back yet?
"What do you mean you can't find her? Where could she possibly go?" Gavino asked and I looked at him,
"She had gone shopping with that friend of hers but it's been two and a half hours and she's not yet back," I answered, removing my phone and looking for a familiar name,
I placed the phone against my ear and waited but it was sent to voicemail, I cut the call and tried again and it was sent to voicemail again and I sighed in frustration,

"She's not picking up!" I said,
"Try her friend's number," Gavino said and I shook my head "I don't have her contact number," I said and I turned to Vito "Can you get her location?" I asked and he nodded his head in reply,
"I need the laptop," He says and I nodded, passing him it.
He typed something on it and we waited, Vito scrunched his brows "What's wrong? Have you found it?" Gavino asked,
"I'm trying but it keeps declining," He replied, "I need to go to the IT lab at the warehouse, it will be much easier there,"
"Then let's go." I said,
It's been hours since we arrived the warehouse and there is nothing on Sarafina, we tried calling her and getting her location but none of them worked,
I paced around and ran a hand through my hair, where could she be? Why isn't she back yet? What if she is in danger?
I heard footsteps approaching and my head snapped upwards and my eyes met Gavino's,
"Did you get anything?" I asked and he shook his head in reply, I sighed and rubbed my temples, I felt a hand on my shoulder "She can take care of herself," He says "Let's wait till Vito get's something on her," He said and I nodded, he turned around and was about to walk out but I stopped him,
"What?" He asked,
"Do you know a place where she would go?" I asked,
He looked in deep thoughts and I saw his eyes grow slightly wide "Wait, there is one place where she might be at," He answered and I furrowed my brows,
"And where might that be," I said,
"Are you sure this is the right place?" Leonard asked, looking around and Gavino nodded. We followed him inside the abandoned building and to the far end of it,
I watched as he clicked on something and I looked around for something to happen but nothing did,
Suddenly, I heard a elevator door opening and I stared at it in shock before going in,
The elevator door slid open and I stared in amazement and shock as I stepped outside the elevator,
What is this place?
"Woah," I heard Vito say,
"How the fuck did she make this place?" Leonard asked in amazement,
"This is so cool!" Lorenzo said,
I saw Gavino walk up to the computers and he scanned them. I made my way towards him,
"Anything?" I asked him,
"I'm not the expert here," He replied and I shot him a blank look,
Vito walked up to the computers and at at the chair before he started to type and do his magic,
In the meantime, I scanned the area until my eyes landed on the outfit she wears, the same outfit that is known as the famous Black Rose.
In a million years, I would never had imagined my baby sister, who once used to be that adorable, innocent and cute kid who could melt my cold heart, to be a part of this dark world we live in.
My sorellina is a fighter, I don't know what she has gone through and I know whatever it is, it is worse than I ever have but even now she melts my cold heart,
"Antonio, we found something!"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
