A few days had passed and the guys and Sara worked out a plan. They found a double who looked enough like Sara, she would walk out with them and the real Sara would be led out the back in the garage discreetly and hidden offsite. The double would lure out Diak and they could deal with him and then bring Sara home safely. And then the 'real fun' begins according to Balaur.
"Guys I'm nervous " Sara said, pacing back and forth in her disguise. "Sweetheart you'll be fine" Cynthraul kissed her forehead and rubbed her back "we'll call as soon as it's done" he added and she shuddered calming down a bit. "I just don't want to be so far away from you guys, like I've gotten used to feeling safe and the idea of not being with y'all makes me feel very not safe" she tried not to cry and bit her bottom lip "I'm sorry I know I'm being a brat. I'm okay" she added with a half smile. "Well you're not wrong" Hele muttered teasingly.
The guys looked at one another and then to her and took a deep breath as Murciél's phone rang "It's time" he said. Balaur walked over to Sara and gave her a hug. She smiled leaning into him and enjoying his scent and warmth. Then she felt him slide his hand in the back pocket of her Jean's and squeeze her ass before pulling his hand out and softly tapping it causing her to jump. He smiled and kissed her forehead before the guys said bye and walked out with the double.
She waited 15 minutes and met the security team downstairs. She met them earlier with the guys and memorized as much of their faces as she could so if anything was out of sorts she'd know. They left in a plain but modified sedan in the opposite direction the guys went. The trip should have taken about 20 minutes total, the area was on a hill, they could see anyone coming in from all sides and were prepared. Sara was pulled out of her daydream by the sound of a car driving aggressively behind them. Four Dodge Chargers armoured with battering bars around them. "FUCK" she yelled as the cars parted and raced around the sedan before forcing it off it's normal path and brought it to a stop.
The security detail couldn't get out so they started shooting as Sara stayed low and out of the way thankful for the earplugs she was given. She took her phone out and texted the guys that she was getting attacked and somehow Diak found out about the swap, giving as much information as she could about the cars used and where they were and landmarks. Next she knew there were gas canisters being shot into the car and she started to cough and pulled up the infinity scarf up over her mouth and nose to hopefully slow the gas.
There was more gas than air and she couldn't breathe nor see as the edges of her vision started to go black. She shoved her phone into her bra as deep as she could, hoping they wouldnt find or feel it in a pat down. She noticed her detail was being taken out as she tried to get to a weapon to protect herself. Noticing the handgun on a thigh holster she tried to reach for it as her arms got heavy and she blacked out.
The brothers reached the meeting spot to "speak" with Diak. Over the past few days Diak had called and made threats on Jackie's life and that of Jackie's boyfriend. They weren't aware Sara already knew about Jackie's betrayal so she played along and used that as a way to lure Diak out. Of course he chose an abandoned factory with lots of empty space so no one could sneak up or hide. The walls and few pillars were basic concrete gray, the three story building was clear all the way to the ceiling and had nowhere to hide. Electricity hadn't been fully wired in so there were stand up work lights in various areas to light the space.

"Lady and gentlemen how are you?" Diak enthusiastically asked and clapped his hands together rubbing his palms."Diak" Murciél hissed "where's the girl and her boyfriend?" he asked his patience already worn thin. "Aw what's the rush? You just got here and I don't get to hang out with you guys all that often" he said with a malicious grin. The brothers looked at one another and sensed something was up.
Mahō opened the mind link and spoke first ' he said bluntly. Hele asked, trying to smell around for anyone else but them. ' Balaur said, noticing Hele sniffing the air. Cythraul replied. Mala'ika informed as he pulled out his phone, already board with Diak. "Something the matter oh great Angel King?" Diak asked mockingly. Mala'ika's brows furrowed in confusion he added noticing the lack of bars in his phone.
As they spoke, they heard a car pull up and caught wind of four new scents. Two men walked in with Jackie and presumably her boyfriend in tow bound with rope and duct tape over their mouths. They were both bruised, dirty and look like they haven't had a decent sleep or meal in days. Their faces were gaunt and their eyes looked hollow like they had given up hope. Had the brothers actually cared it would have been effective. Had she not betrayed Sara for some guy and to get out of her previous employment they may have felt bad. "Here they are, our guest of honors!" Diak exclaimed excitedly "now hand over the girl and these two go free," he added.
"You must be out of your fucking mind! You asked for money to replace lost income, we are not giving her or anyone else up!" Cynthraul said enraged as his eyes changed colors, the pupils going red-orange and the whites going pitch black. "Well I also lost good men, three to be exact" he said his anger seething as he looked to Hele and Murciél "and my former employee refuses to work" he added gesturing over to Jackie. "So hand the girl over or we're done here" Diak said with finality.
"Well we can agree on one thing" Mala'ika said, his eyes changing and glowing as well "we are very much done here, however you're not leaving alive" he added. Mala'ika and Cythraul charged Diak at supernatural speed without warning and punched him, Mala'ika hitting him in the face and Cythraul hitting him in his gut. Diak hit the wall behind him with such force he coughed up black blood before dislodging himself from the wall. Hele had shifted into his Lycan form, black fur sprouting over his body as his back legs cracked and bent into those of a wolf. His torso increases in size and muscle mass while claws protrude from his fingertips. Murciél's eyes turned blood red as he helped Hele clear out the goons.
"Well I must say I am quite surprised" Diak started wiping the blood off his mouth and spitting more to the floor "that this is your lame attempt at killing me and losing that which you hold so dear" as he spoke his voice got gravely, demonic almost. His skin turned grey pale and his entire eyes went white with black circles around them and veins on his skin as he put out both his hands palms facing the ground. "Rise" he said and flipped his hands over, palm facing up. The ground below them started to crumble and collapse as corpses began to rise from under the structure as well as the men they just killed. "Good luck!" Diak called out them with a fake military salute as the ground between Mala'ika, Cythraul and him collapsed completely allowing a swarm of bodies to crawl from their graves. They knew Diak was a powerful necromancer but they didn't realize he chose this location because it was his go to dumping site until construction began.

Diak made his escape and the guys fought through the undead bodies and made their way out. Balaur called through the mind link. ' Mahō called and they all put their hands onto one another while Cythraul and Murciél put their other hand on Jackie and her boyfriend respectively. Mahō teleported them outside to a nearby old and abandoned pier as the building finally gave out, destroying all evidence anyone had ever been there. Dust and debris settled in the air coating all nearby structures. "FUCK!" Cythraul yelled out, his wings spread wide and skin turning black. He turned back to Jackie and her boyfriend who were panicked at the sight of him and a crown of fire now formed right above his horns. "If anything happens to her, you will suffer a fate worse than death" he told them, his voice void of emotions and purely demonic. "Cythraul go cool off, we need you levelheaded and we need to find out where Sara is" Mala'ika told him and Cythraul took off into the night sky. "Signals back up" Balaur said, checking his phone and calling Sara's.
Sara had finally come to in some unknown location. She was cold and her chair was sitting on dirt, surrounded by bottles of wine."Fuck I could use a drink" she muttered to herself trying to get her eyes to focus to the low lighting.
"Gentlemen and gents our guest of honor is finally awake!" Marminy announced Walking over to Sara. "You're cute I suppose," she said to Sara, gripping her chin, harder than needed, and moving her face side to side. "Let's fix that shall we?" She said before punching Sara so hard she almost passed back out. There were black spots in her vision now and she could taste the copper liquid pooling in her mouth. Leaning back in the chair Sara huffed before spitting her blood right in Marminy's face.
"Untie me bitch and we'll see who can fix whose face first" she said with a laugh. Marminy wiped the blood off her face and chest with a towel provided by some goon and hissed scratching Sara across the face leaving four bleeding lines on her left cheek "you fucking bitch, do you know how much this dress cost?" She asked not really caring if Sara knew. "Boss has made contact" a goon called out and Marminy nodded her head to him before turning back to Sara with a sadistic smile.
"Well looks like your boys will meet their end soon enough," she said with a maniacal laugh. "Mhm six Kings and one ain't shit nigga with poor taste in women " Sara replied looking are Marminy dead in her eyes. "HE IS A KING YOU FUCKING WHORE!" she yelled gripping Sara by her throat and squeezing "and he will wipe them all out and do with you as he sees fit. You should be fine with that, cock slut, shouldn't you" she added releasing Sara's neck. Sarah gasped for air and focused on pulling oxygen into her lungs.
Her body was shivering and the cold air was not filling her lungs properly. "See what your boys don't know is they're standing atop a mass grave and all MY KING has to do is summon all those corpses. He slips out, kills your pretty boys without dirtying his hands and then he can be the one true King" she informed Sara moaning at the last part.
"You're sick bitch, and pathetic, just like that sack of shit you call a king" Sarah said and Marminy's eyes shifted pitch white as she kicked Sara's knee and it bends too far in the wrong direction causing the chair to collapse and Sara lands face down screaming in pain. "TALK SHIT NOW BITCH!" Marminy taunted shoving Sara's face into the dirt lifting it only to make sure she didn't die. 'Should I keep my mouth shut? Yes. Am I being fucking stupid? Absolutely. Worth it? To be decided.' Sara thought to herself
Just as Marminy was about to shove Sara's dirt, blood and snot covered face back into the earth Sara's phone went off. "Oh I wonder who it could be?" Marminy said with glee, shifting her attention like a dog who spotted a squirrel. "Hello!" She sang answering the phone. You could hear Hele and Balaur growl in the background as Mala'ika answered "Where's Sara, Marminy?" He asked his tone low and laced with the threat of death. "Oh one second!" She replied enabling the video calling on the phone with the camera on Sara.
"THAT FUCKING UNDEAD SKANK! HIJA DE PUTA!" Murciél raged in the background as Hele full on growled and Balaur let out a dragon's roar. "Would you all calm down? I can't hear you over all that ruckus" Marminy said plainly. Sara was trying so hard not to pass out but the pain was becoming unbearable. The last thing Sara heard was Mahō saying something in another language and Mala'ika telling her to hold on before darkness took her again.
Mahō handed a map to Balaur who held it open on a stack of wooden pallets. Pulling out a gem stone attached to a chain, Mahō wrapped the chain around his middle finger twice and began to cast a spell while Mala'ika tried to keep Marminy busy and off Sara. Cythraul asked through the mind link returning to his brothers. They had informed him of what happened with Sara and it filled him with unbridled rage to the point of snapping but he knew he had to remain calm for her.
She told them they made her feel loved and safe and they had failed her. He couldn't afford to lose it, he had to make amends and make sure his queen felt loved and safe again. Balaur explainedMahō said cutting Balaur off. Balaur continued
Cythraul asked. "Enough, I have her" Mahō said aloud since Marminy hung up on Mala'ika with a batshit crazy laugh.
Balaur put the map away and they all put a hand on Mahō. "A crew will be by for you" Murciél told Jackie and her boyfriend and they teleported to a vineyard upstate as the pickup crew drove up to the pier.
At the vineyard there was a row of three processing buildings. They let their senses go and scout the area as they walked out from between the walls of grapes. "She's in a cellar below that building" Hele informed them pointing to the building on the far right. "There's nine including that bitch" Hele said. "Four on the first floor, the other five below" Balaur added in agreement.
"How the fuck, it just smells like shit, grape juice and more shit" Cythraul asked. "I am a king, like you, remember?" Hele asked but it was more a statement. "Balaur, you and Murciél go first clear out the top level as quickly and quietly as possible. We want to maintain the element of surprise." Mala'ika started forming a plan. "Once we're in, Hele I want you to be our eyes and ears with Balaur outside, you can smell better through all these distractions. Murciél, you and Mahō make the proper arrangements for medical care for Sara. We get her patched up and stable and move her to where we can keep her safe." They nodded in agreement and Cythraul looked to Mala'ika. "Cythraul and I will go get our girl and be home before the hour is up."
Balaur let his rage simmer as a scale pattern surfaced on his skin and his eyes changed, the whites now pitch black and the pupils gold with a black slit. Murciél let his fangs drop and his eyes turned crimson red "now" he hissed and they both made their way into the building with unseen speed. In less than a minute the men were dead and Murciél let them know the coast was clear through the mind link.
Hele took point at the south end of the building and Balaur at the north. Mahō and Murciél made their way inside with Mala'ika and Cythraul. Making their calls, Mahō and Murciél prepared a safe place for Sara to start her healing process. "Ready brother?" Mala'ika asked Cythraul as they snuck their way into the basement/cellar, "always brother" Cythraul replied as he fully shifted to his demonic form. Mala'ika used his magic to cut the lights, absorbing the energy and Cythraul let out hellfire tendrils that wrapped their way around the men. The goons burned to a crisp as the rest of his tendrils circled around Sara protectively. The charred necromancer goons were thrown about randomly and the tendrils returned and lifted Sara gently.
"Oh Marminy..." Mala'ika called out "wherefore art thou Marminy?" He called out again. "SHIT! HOW?!" She swore and ran towards the back of the cellar but she was two slow. Mala'ika was in front of her, his left fist balled in a glowing white light. "Left hand of judgment " he whispered with the threat of death and Marminy's eyes grew wide with fear. As Mala'ika punched Marminy the cellar wall to his right blew apart hitting him and his fist didn't fully connect but still hit its mark.
Marminy flew into the wall next to the newly formed hole, the right side of her body being consumed in white flames that were trying to spread. The rescue team pulled her out and sealed the path with more explosives collapsing the tunnel as Cythraul had returned to the basement after making sure Sara was out and safe and hearing the commotion. He ran to Mala'ika who was already healing, his bones snapping back into place, muscle tissue and skin deformation clearing out the burned skin and wounds from shrapnel. "SON OF A BITCH!" Mala'ika roared his rage renewed, "leave it brother, she will get hers but we have a mate to tend to.
Cythraul and Mala'ika made their way upstairs, "how did they sneak up on us?!" Mala'ika asked Hele and Balaur angrily, not caring that his tone was rough. "They had underground tunnels and nothing was exposed until they blew it open, no air for a scent to travel on." Balaur replied. Mala'ika grunted in response and punched a pillar in the building shattering it instantly and the building groaned from the lack of support.
"I sent Murciél out with Sara first, Cythraul, you and Balaur handle the mess; Mala'ika you can let your rage boil or you can help our woman heal. Choose" Mahō scolded as they walked outside. Cythraul muttered a spell with his hands out facing the building and a demonic aura surrounded it causing it to collapse. Balaur spit a ball of fire into his hand and blew in it gently as it turned white and tossed it onto the rubble making sure there was no evidence of what happened here.
"I have to deal with the souls of the men here, go ahead without me, I'll call on the link when I'm done" Cythraul told his brothers and got to work. They nodded and Mahō teleported them out to the medical facility.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
