《The Monster Inside ➺ Scott. M》Chapter 48

1987, Manchester, England
a cardboard box on a table, Stella looked around the small apartment which she owned. Matthew Williams, the Warlock who promised to get her memories back lived with her. It was her duty to protect him so she was going to do the best she could.
Even if she didn't have to, she would still protect him - she started liking the Warlock. His humour always made everyone smile and he was an amazing friend. The kind of friend everyone needed.
Nimah also lived with her; the two were a couple for over 50 years. Of course, they had their ups and downs; often resulting in a break up. However, the two always got back together. One could say they were soulmates.
Stella; however, was losing hope. It's been five years since she found Matthew. He says he's close to being able to get her memories back, but he usually says it because he doesn't want her to dwell on it. He never believed him, but she still hoped that day would come.
In fact, the man would be happier if the girl forgot about the Mikaelsons. Unfortunately, that would be impossible. Her missing memories were too important to her. Unknowingly, Stella was hurting him. Not by anything she said or did but by what she asked him to do. The mission opened old wounds; memories of his past lover.
He never told them he knew the Mikaelsoms. If he told them he was friends with the most dangerous ones, they would most definitely leave him. But he needed them now more than ever. The Gemini coven was continuously getting stronger and he could not let them find him. He couldn't risk it. Of course, he was able to help Stella years ago, but he was stretching it out as much as possible.
Unfortunately, he began liking Stella and knew he couldn't hide it for much longer. The missing memories affected her greatly and he didn't want his best friend to live in the depressed state forever.

Stella sighed and leaned back on the kitchen table, looking up at the white ceiling. The small apartment was mostly white, making it brighter and more pleasant to be in.
Nimah, the brunette girl, walked towards her with a frown. She placed her hands on Stella's hips and pouted her bottom lip. "What's wrong, Stell?" She questioned gently.
Stella smiled weakly at her; her eyes dull. "I just..." She sighed loudly "...I'll never get my memories back." She said in a sad tone.
The brunette girl smiled sympathetically and hugged Stella, hiding her face in the crook of the ginger girl's neck. "It's going to be okay."
Stella wrapped her arms around the slightly shorter girl "I just don't understand why they would erase my memories." She complained.
"We'll fin-"
"Stella." Nimah was interrupted by Matthew, who entered the room. The rest of the Peaky Blinders stood behind him with wide smiles.
"What is it, Matt?" Stella asked and pulled away from her girlfriend, looking at the Warlock, confused.
Matt smiled widely at her "I think I'll be able to get your memories back." He said and the two girls gasped, before hugged each other tightly; happiness taking over both of them.

Stella, along with all her friends sat in a small, dim room. The ginger and Matthew sat on the floor, surrounded by candles, as the Peaky Blinders sat on a couch, watching the scene unfold before them.
Matthew picked up a sharp, silver dagger and brought it to his palm. He cut it, quickly. He then brought it to Stella's and also cut her palm. He intertwined their hands, their blood mixing as the warlock began chanting a spell in Latin.
The Peaky Blinders watched curiously; they rarely saw a witch or Warlock chant. It was a rare occurrence they were all greatly interested in.

Soon, Matthew let go of Stalla's hand and her eyes turned white. Her pupils disappeared as she sat there, frozen. "Now what?" Tommy asked.
Matthew sighed "Now we wait." He simply answered and stood up, sitting next to the Peaky Blinders.
Stella was stood at the side of the road in New Orleans. A group of soldiers approached her with charming smiles. "Hello there, darling." One of them winked.
She smiled and turned around "sorry but I'm not interested." She said, hoping that the three men would leave her alone. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
A blonde soldier blocked her path and a smiled at her "you won't make some time for... heroes? We just came back from war. We saved you." He said, toying with her emotions.
Stella clenched her jaw "and I greatly appreciate that." She forced a smiled "unfortunately, as I said, I'm not interested." She repeated and tried walking away but one of the men pushed her against a wall.
"Come on." A black haired man said "let's have some fun."
"She said she's not interested, assholes." A loud, authoritive voice said from behind the boys. They all turned around, ready to tell whoever it was to leave them alone. However, They decided not to when they saw the blonde female standing behind them; clearly from the upper class.
One of them audibly growled and left Stella alone. The three men walked away, annoyed that their prey managed to slip through their fingers.
"Are you alright, dear?" The blonde woman asked with a small smile, gently squeezing Stella's shoulder.
"I'm fine. Thank you." Stella said with a smile.
The woman then said something else; however, Stella did not know what. Her voice was muffled, her face blurry as everything before her thrashed around. She didn't where she was.
She closed her eyes and opened them again. This time, she was in a big, white house. The house was quiet, like nobody lived there. That's until the siblings finally arrived. They walked towards Stella, who was silently sitting in the kitchen.
"Hello, love." A blonde vampire said, giving Stella a peck on the lips and sitting beside her.
"Hi." Stella said with a warm smile.
A dirty blonde man stood in front of them and rolled his eyes at his sister. "Stella, never go to town with her." He warned in an annoyed tone.
"With who?" Stella asked confused.
The blonde beside her laughed "Don't listen to Nik. He's overreacting." She rolled her green eyes at her brother.
"No, Astrid. I'm not." He growled in an almost animalistic way. Stella took note of the girl's name - knowing that it was her girlfriend. As soon as that girl entered the kitchen, a warm feeling spread through Stella's body. She immediately knew she loved the woman and that she loved her back. "She killed my chauffeur." He pointed at Astrid with an annoyed expression.
Astrid chuckled "oh, boo-hoo brother." Astrid grabbed Stella's hand "I was hungry." She added "Come on, Ella, let's have some fun. Nik is boring." She winked at her brother who looked like he was about to murder her with his own hands.
Stella woke up with a gasp, the Peaky Blinders and Matthew looked at her expectantly. "Astrid." She muttered before passing out on the carpet.
