《Trollex x daughter reader》Mom

You didn't know what happened to your mom, or why she wasn't around. Whenever you asked your dad or aunt, they would always say, "I'll tell you when your older sweetie" or "maybe later" asking other techno trolls didn't work ether, they always avoided that topic for reasons you couldn't understand, they only told you that they were not the right trolls to tell you.
You never pushed it, but now, you just really wanted to know. You were looking around your dad's room trying to find something that could tell you anything about your mom, so far you had no luck, well there was one place you hadn't looked yet, under his bed.
You swam over to it and looked under, you saw what looked to be a small box, when you pulled it out it was f/c and had pretty s/fc patterns on it, on the lid it said 'for Y/n' in fancy letters, you placed your hand on the lid ready to open it
"So you found it"
You jumped slightly at the sudden voice, you turned to see your dad at the door.
You backed away slightly, thinking he'd be angry at you, but you were surprised to see him looking sad and grief stricken. "Are you mad daddy?" You asked as he swam over to you
"No, angel fish" he replied, kneeling down next you,
"Is this a birthday present?" You asked, looking at the small box
" some are, sweetie, it's something your mommy left you" he said, looking down, the sad expression still on his face.
You looked back at the box surprised, "can I open it?" You asked
He smiled and said "of course sweetie"
You opened the lid, and saw letters stacked up, the envelopes were also F/c with pretty golden patterns on them,

"Your mommy wrote these for you, some are for when your older and your birthdays"
"Where is mommy? why can't I see her anywhere?" You asked looking up at your father,
That question felt like a million daggers stabbing his soul, he knew he would have to tell you someday, he always dreaded the day though, how could you tell a child that there mother had died giving birth to you?
Trollex sighed, trying to keep himself from sobbing "I'm so sorry Y/n, she uh, she died when you were born" he managed to say,
You gasped softly, looking horrified, tears welling up in your eyes "h-h-how did she d-die?" You stuttered, trembling.
Trollex pulled you into his arms, he took a deep breath and said "she......she died when she laid you as an egg"
You shot up instantly, "I killed my mommy!?" You cried looking distraught, tears rolling down your face
"No!"
Your dad pulled you closer rocking you gently.
"No angel fish, you didn't. What happened was an accident, it want yours or anyone else's fault, don't ever think it was"
He whispered, stroking your hair.
You calmed down a little, snuggling into his chest,
"What was mommy like?" You asked
Trollex smiled softly, "she was one of the most kindest techno trolls ever, she could make anyone happy, she always knew how to cheer people up, just like you baby girl" he nuzzled your nose making you giggle,
Despite what happened, you were glad you got to know what your mother was like, and you had her letters to look forward to reading when the time for doing so came.
However though, for the past week, you couldn't help but feel that it was still your fault, despite your dad saying it wasn't.

It only got worse when you saw other trollings with their moms, it made you feel more guilt and longing for your mother.
Your dad had noticed that something was bothering you. At dinner, he and Bliss noticed your colors were a little grey, and that you looked sad, Trollex would have spoken to you after dinner, but he had a lot of debates to settle and other boring king duties to get out of the way first.
As you were getting ready for bed, your dad came in looking worried.
"Baby girl, I know somethings wrong, is it about mommy?" He asked gently, sitting down on your bed and placing you in his lap.
You sighed sadly and nodded, tearing up a little "yeah...I know you said it wasn't my fault but I still feel like it is..." you whimpered.
Trollex looked at you sadly, feeling his heart ache.
"Oh baby" he said soothingly "it absolutely was not your fault, what happened was a horrible accident" he rubbed your fin ear affectionately.
You felt a little better at hearing that, you sighed softly and grabbed your dad's left hand, giving it a gentle loving squeeze.
Trollex smiled softly and moved his hand from your ear to your cheek, gently stroking it affectionately.
"Now where's that beautiful smile?~" he cooed playfully, gently kissing your cheek multiple times.
You giggled and squirmed in his hold a little "daddy no!" You laughed, a sound that made Trollex heart leap with joy.
You then yawned and snuggled his chest. Hearing his soothing heartbeat which only made you more sleepy, you then drifted off into a peaceful sleep, the guilt you felt from before vanishing completely. Your colors slowly returning back to their bright self again.
Trollex smiled softly and held you closer, giving you a kiss on your cheek.
"Sweet dreams baby girl" he whispered gently.
