The rest of the year, Karasuno spent it training and taking part in Nationals. You joined the girls' volleyball team officially as their libero and the boys would always come to your games to support you and threatened them subtly not to mess with you. However, as the girls didn't make it to Nationals you followed the boys to Nationals instead.

The boys made it to the semi-finals but lost a game against the winner of the previous Nationals. The third years had to step down to study and Ennoshita took over as captain. The vice captain was Kinoshita and you and Yachi remained as the managers.

You and Noya had a healthy and almost perfect relationship, despite all the PDA you both would have in the middle of practice. Tanaka started dating Shimizu although she was no longer involved with the club and that was shocking but not really. You also found out by accident that Daichi and Suga were dating in secret as well.

Y: haru, come to the storeroom

H: y?

Y: comeee quick ;) i got it

You knew he was 'in the mood' again. You sighed, turning your phone off, tired but excited at the same time. You hurried over to the empty gym and sneaked into the storeroom where Noya was.

"Yuu, I'm here. What we snackin on tod-"

It took you a few seconds to process the sight in front of you. Daichi and Suga shirtless. Both captains had hickeys all over their necks and their faces were extremely flushed red.

Noya stood at the doorway with a handful of bread and chips and sodas.

"OH MY GOD WE ARE SO SORRY!"

It was a weird way of finding out but they later explained that they didn't want to affect the volleyball team and were planning on coming out after they stepped down, which was exactly what they did.

As for Tsukki and Yamaguchi, they never really confirmed anything but Tanaka exposed them after supposedly 'catching them kissing in the clubroom' which they didn't deny nor admit. Everyone on the team secretly knew they were official though. It was pretty cute how nice Tsukki could be to Yamaguchi at times, if only he were like that to everyone else smh.

Of course, Kagehina became a thing. You were the first person they told, other than Hinata needing to come out to explain things to Yachi.

"Tobio, not here. Someone's gonna catch us!"

"I can't help it."

"A-ah Tobio..."

You stood behind the wall with Noya beside you, not wanting to interrupt their make-out session.

"First Daisuga and now this?" you exclaimed, a little too loud. Noya immediately covered your mouth but it was too late.

"Tobio, did you hear that?"

"Yeah. It's Noya-san and Haru-chan."

"HYEH?" both of you looked up and saw the 2 standing right in front of you.

"Well, I guess you know now hehe..." Hinata scratched his head and you smacked him lightly.

"WHEN WERE YOU PLANNING ON TELLING ME? I'M OFFENDED TOBIO, SHOYO!" you huffed playfully, extremely happy for the destined couple.

"Gomen Haru! I was going to tell you after practice today, since it's our monthsary!" Hinata hugged your arm and Tobio nodded aggressively, making you laugh.

"Come on, I'm just kidding! I'm so happy for both of you!" You pulled the 2 into a hug and Noya scoffed.

"Leaving me in the dark eh?"

"Yuu~ don't be like that~" you cooed and hugged him, giving him kisses all over his face. He instantly softened up and smiled.

"Well, last long both of you!" Noya said and walked off with you.

That's how you all spent the time after Nationals. Trainings, trainings and more trainings. The third years would occasionally come back to help with practice which you appreciated so much. You also had training with the girls volleyball team and it was going very well. They were nothing like the girls in America and you were so grateful for their kindness.

As for you and Noya, you managed to keep a good balance between school, volleyball and spending time together. It was always you and him together, going on cute impromptu dates and sometimes, double dates with Daichi and Suga or Hinata and Kageyama. The best dates were when you stayed over at each other's houses and watched movies till late at night, cuddling and kissing till' you fell asleep. In the mornings, waking up in Noya's arms and being able to hold him so closer to you were your favourite things.

In the your second year and Noya's third year, Karasuno's girls and boys volleyball team had conquered Nationals. 'Karasuno's Guardians' became a very hot topic among the high school volleyball community, making you and Noya pretty popular. However, all good things had to come to an end when they had to graduate.

You had also brought Noya to your All Japan Youth Representatives training and the coach was indeed impressed. Noya was then officially invited to be part of it as a libero in which he gladly accepted.

"Haru, p-please don't c-cry... It's h-hard f-for me too, y-you know?"

Noya stammered, tears streaming down his face with no sign of stopping. He used his thumb and gently wiped your tears away and you held his hand against your cheek, leaning into it.

"Yuu, please... I don't want you to leave... I-I don't wanna break... P-Please don't leave me..."

You cried desperately.

"The year has been a-amazing... We've been separated before, I don't want to l-lose you again."

"Haru, you know we have different paths to go now... I wanna travel the world and you want to continue your studies, and I don't want to hold you back baby. We'll keep in contact as much as possible too! I promise we'll meet again and if we do, we're gonna be together for the rest of our lives. We'll get married, for real. Okay? You trust me right? I promise."

"W-What if you find someone e-else? What if you f-forget me..."

"Pfft, I'm more worried about someone else trying to flirt with you."

He looked into your eyes and cupped your cheeks in his hands, then he pulled you into a hug and kissed your forehead lightly. He sniffed hard and took in your scent while you held Noya tightly, gripping his shirt and not wanting to let him go for one second.

"Y-Yuu... you p-promise... right?" you looked up at your lover, barely seeing him through tears.

"Of course. I promise."

Your pinkies intertwined gently...

The tip of your thumbs rested on each other...

And then he rested his forehead on yours.

"Yuu... I love you."

"I love you too."

With that, you reluctantly let go of him. You stood at the doors of the hall with Hinata and Kageyama holding your shoulders to comfort you. You watched as Noya smiled through his tears and waved goodbye to you, and then he was gone.

"Shoyo...Tobio..." You hugged your 2 friends and cried into their shirts.

"Haru, he's not gone forever okay? Anyway, you have the best friends here for ya!" Hinata comforted and pat your head.

"Haru, we need to go. Come on. Tissue, here." Kageyama said and handed a pack of tissues to you. You gratefully took it and cleaned your face with it, and then hobbled your way back home with Kageyama and Hinata following you.

"Thanks for walking me back, and sorry for third-wheeling again..." you sniffled and rubbed your eyes.

"Well, you don't really have a choice. You're going to be OUR third-wheel, you have no escape WAHAHAH"

"Shut up, Hinata boke."

"OI!"

You giggled at their interaction. They always knew how to cheer you up.

"Well, bye then. See you next year!" you waved and was about to close the door when the duo barged in.

"SORRY FOR THE INTRUSION!"

"HYEH? GUYS-"

"Oh? Hello boys!"

Your mom greeted cheerfully, as though she had been expecting them. You tilted your head in confusion.

"Did you really think you could get rid of us the entire summer?" Kageyama smirked, followed by Hinata.

"Wha-"

"WE'RE STAYING OVER FOR A WEEK!"

The duo cheered and placed their things at the side. Hinata started helping you mother with dinner and Kageyama took the time to explain this.

"We didn't know abut Noya-san wanting the...er..yeah."

You chuckled, Kageyama was trying so hard and it was adorable. You nodded and prompted him to go on.

"We wanted to spend time with you and play volleyball, so we asked Misaki-san if we could stay over and she offered a week to us!" the blueberry said with excitement and a pretty smile on his face.

"Thank you, Tobio. AND SHOYO!" you called out and earned a thumbs up from the tangerine.

You sighed and slumped into the couch, holding your phone in your hand and staring at your wallpaper. A picture Hinata had secretly taken while you and Noya were kissing.

"Oi."

You looked up at Kageyama who was also looking at the photo.

"He'll be back."

You smirked with a weird feeling in your heart.

"Yeah, he will. He promised."
