《The Puppy Type (OHSHC)》5. The Twins are Idiots 6. Daichi Hates Kids

"Let's all play the "which one is Hikaru?" game," the twins announce. "So, can you tell which one of us is Hikaru?"
"Well, it's hard to say."
"You're identical."
"Many ladies have tried to tell us apart, but so far none have succeeded. The only one we've ever had tell us apart is our very own Daichi." The twins gesture to the boy sitting in between all the girls. "Care to show them how it's done, Daichi? Which one is Hikaru?"
Daichi is sitting in with the twins today since Kyoya is faithfully writing away in his little book. Daichi loves the "which one is Hikaru" game. He loves watching the girls try to guess correctly. He points at the twin on the left, Hikaru.
"Correct!"
The girls, so surprised, clap for Daichi. Quickly the twins start to run around and confuse the girls, so they forget who is who. Just then, Haruhi walks by.
"That's the dumbest game I've ever heard of," she says.
"What? Have you got a problem with it, Haruhi?" the twins mock.
"Not really. I just don't understand why the two of you are so popular," she admits.
"That's not very nice."
"I'm disappointed,'' says Hikaru.
"Apparently, you don't understand the merits of having a pair of twins as members of the host club," Kaoru adds.
"Listen up. Having a couple of good-looking guys with homosexual tendencies earns the club high points. It also helps that the two struggle between their attraction and their friendship."
"And in our case, because we're twins, our relationship is taboo and therefore more intriguing."
"And besides, who hasn't fantasized about twins?" Hikaru goes over to seduce one of the girls, who starts blushing like mad. "Having two loves is better than one, don't you think?"

"It's a young woman's romantic fantasy," Kaoru says.
"Well, um, yeah, you're right. I can't take it," the girl says.
Just then Tamaki bursts in with a laptop.
"Hikaru, Kaoru!" he shouts. "When I gave you control of the club's website, I did it so on one condition that you take it seriously!"
Everyone looks over to a frantic Tamaki.
"We take our job very seriously, boss."
"In fact, last night we worked on it till dawn."
"Is this what you worked so hard to create?" he bursts.
He shows the screen that everyone quickly crowds around. Daichi tries to get close to see what it is, but he's pulled away by Kyoya.
"Not for your eyes, little one," he says, not taking his own eyes off his notebook. Daichi merely slumps against Kyoya in defeat.
"You look great, Haru-chan," Honey compliments. The picture is of Haruhi? Daichi feels just a tad more desire to want to see the picture now.
"Tell me when!" demands Tamaki. He's tearing the twins' a new one, but they don't care at all.
"Huh?"
"When did you take naked pictures of Haruhi? You bribed her, didn't you?"
"You're imagining things. It's obvious that the photo's been altered."
"It was photo-shopped?"
"We did a pretty good job, huh?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"As we were saying, in order to entertain oneself in this otherwise boring life..." Hikaru starts.
"...one must find himself stimulating toys," Kaoru finishes.
"I am not your toy! Okay?" Haruhi shouts angrily. She doesn't seem to be too happy about the picture they had up on the website.
Daichi's focus however is elsewhere. His head whips over the second he sees a darkened doorway. Immediately he jumps up and runs to hide behind Kyoya. The older boy just pats his head as Daichi clings to his jacket.

" You want a toy? Toys... toys... If you like toys, then you should come and visit my black magic club. We've opened a marketplace that boasts black magic items from across the globe. We're also holding mass around the clock. If you visit right now, I'll even throw in a free curse doll. You could have Belzenef as your free gift." The creepy voice floats through the room, and Daichi isn't the only one scared. Tamaki is practically quaking.
"Why is he talking to us through a crack in the door?" asks Haruhi. She isn't at all spooked.
"Wait a second. Has that door always been there?" The twins aren't afraid either.
"Nekozawa-senpai likes to hide," Kyoya explains. ''He doesn't really care for brightly-lit places."
"Don't get involved with that guy, Haruhi," Tamaki warns. The boy is practically shaking. "If you do, you'll end up being cursed. It happened during final exams at the end of the last school year. Oooh, it's terrifying just to talk about it.
"On that fateful day, I accidentally stepped on that weirdo Nekozawa's cursed doll, Belzenef. Afterward, I took my exam and the entire test was written in some strange lettering. I looked at the others around me for help and I realized I knew none of them. I was all alone in a different dimension!"
"Did that really happen to you?" asks Haruhi.
"That only happened because you were so scared you accidentally walked into the beginning Greek class and took their exam," Kyoya answers.
"Then why is Daichi so afraid?" Haruhi asks.
Kyoya glances at the child behind him. "Nekozawa-senpai tried to take off his collar once. He said Belzenef hates dogs, and Daichi would be cursed if he kept wearing his collar."
"You shouldn't underestimate the dark powers of Belzenef, the curse doll," says Nekozawa. "All you have to do is write the name of someone you hate on his back, then that person is certain to come face to face with misfortune."
But Belzenef is the least of their problems. He isn't quite sure how it starts, but suddenly the twins hate each other. He doesn't know why they're fighting, but he just wants it to stop. It's been going on for so long now, and when they finally reveal the reason, it's because they tricked Haruhi into letting them come over. Daichi really hates when he's the one that's being smarter than the twins.
6. Daichi Hates Kids
Five words. Daichi hates kids. 'Nuff said.
A/N: For the fifth and sixth episodes, I didn't really have a specific role or involvement for Daichi. I did want you to know that Daichi could tell the twins apart, because that will come into play later. Other than that, there really wasn't anything. Thanks for reading anyway :)
