The second Daichi steps through the front door, a maid is there to greet him. It's one of Kyoya's maids. "Oh, Master Daichi, I'm so glad you're here," she says.

Daichi's eyes widen. His day was so bad he forgot about Kyoya. How could he be so rude? Kyoya probably doesn't even need him. He doesn't need anyone, not even Daichi. Oh, how Daichi needs him. The events of the day had proved to Daichi that he was useless without his better half. All he did as cause trouble, but sweet senpai kept him and those around him safe.

Why couldn't Daichi just do that?

The maid starts to lead Daichi through the halls, but along the way, they run into someone else... Akito. He looks absolutely miserable. Is he sick too? "Ah, Daichi! You're here." His brash tone always has Daichi on edge. Every time he speaks, it commands a whole room to listen. "Finally. Kyoya's been insufferable all day! Causing trouble for the servants. Kept asking for you nonstop. How weak. Better find him."

Insufferable? Daichi isn't quite ready for that big word, but he's sure, since it's from Akito, it's a bit rude. So he does as asked and continues with the maid to his and Kyoya's room, leaving big brother behind.

Inside, Kyoya's sitting up , trying to stand. He's only wearing pajamas, but he looks a bit better than he did in the morning. Upon finding him, Daichi goes straight to his side, and pulls him to stay on the bed. The maid excuses herself and leaves the room.

"Daichi, oh, finally," Kyoya says. His voice is a bit raspy, and Daichi worries if it hurts him to talk. "I've missed you all day."

Someone presses pause on Daichi, and he can only stare at Kyoya for a few minutes. He did miss him? Really? But what does Daichi have to offer? Huh... No time for that. Kyoya's been at home alone all day.

"Does throat hurt?" Daichi asks, eyebrows scrunched.

"A bit, but I've had all kinds of medicine to help. The maids were just--" Kyoya is interrupted when Daichi hands him a glass of water. Understanding what he wants, Kyoya takes a sip and sets it to the side. "Better?"

"Are cold?" Daichi asks, ignoring Kyoya's question.

The older boy nods, and Daichi instantly latches himself onto him. Kyoya must admit. He missed this all day. No Daichi hugs, kisses, pets. Oh, it was just so bland and cold without him. "Thank you, puppy, but you'll get yourself sick."

"Don't care," Daichi says, nuzzling his head into his senpai's side. "Should do -- something do -- do something for senpai."

"You want to take care of me?" Kyoya asks. Daichi nods. His eyebrow quirks up. "Why? It's okay. I'll give you some time to form it."

After some time, Daichi starts to speak slowly. "Senpai always does everything for me. I don't do anything back for you. But... senpai, you deserve my everything."

Kyoya can't help but be surprised by Daichi's word choice. You. It's a word he avoids. He thinks it sounds demanding and aggressive, but he knows it grabs people's attention. He really wants his senpai to listen to him.

"You really think you don't do anything for me? Daichi, I was lost all day without you. I like protecting you and doing things for you. When you're here, I feel calm and relaxed. Even if something bad happens, I know I'd be all right as long as you come back to me. Just be my little puppy. You don't have to do everything. You are my everything."

"You are -- are you -- yeah..." Something clicks in Daichi's head, and he looks up at his senpai with bright eyes and a wide grin. "You are my everything."
