Arnav dialed Kushi's number once again hoping against hope that she would pick up atleast this time.

He sighed when the call again went into voice mail.

"Damn it. Pick up pick up" he muttered as he walked to and fro, creating holes in the carpet.

After a few more tries, he sat on the bed with a resigned sigh.

Could he blame her?

No!!

All he ever does is shout at her and hurt her. So how can he expect her to attend his calls.

He picked up his laptop bag and walked out of the bedroom, all set to go to his office and make further plans on how to win his love.

Kushi stared at her phone in apprehension.

That laad governor has been calling her since morning. She couldn't figure out what is left to say. As far as she can remember, they have finished whatever they have to talk to each other.

She wanted to switch off the phone and be done with it, but her financial status doesn't give her that luxury. She needs her phone on, in case the hiring agency would call her with any new assignment.

Her phone rang again and she heaved a sigh of relief when she saw it was Advi.

She picked up the call on the second ring

"Heyy"

"Good morning jalebi. What's up? I saw your missed call" Advaith asked

"Oh I wanted a help. That's why I called" Kushi said

"What is it?" Advaith asked

"How do we block a number in the phone?" Kushi asked

"Why? Whom do you want to block?" Advaith asked

"No one Advi. It is just the network sales people calling multiple times a day and disturbing us. I thought I would just block their number." Kushi lied effortlessly

"Oh I understand. Too much of an annoyance. Just long press on the number, and the option to block will appear. You can do the same later, if you want to unblock a number" Advaith said

"Great thanks. How's work going on? Come home for dinner tonight. Buaaji was saying you haven't come home for three days now" Kushi said

"Work is good okay. Yesterday ASR was supposed to come for the site inspection, but he changed it last minute, as he had some important meeting in the evening" she heard Advath say and Kushi frowned.

Last evening he was there at the temple, taunting her for no particular reason.

Did he just skip a site inspection just so that he could come and insult her?

What kind of sick man is he?

Kushi shook her head, trying to dispel thoughts of an angry Raizada from her head.

How did she develop feelings for such a man is beyond her. She should stop thinking about him and move on.

Life is beautiful. There is no need to ruin it with painful memories and akdu log.

As soon as she hung up the call with Advi, she long pressed on Arnav's number and blocked it.

Great!

Now he won't be able to reach her and she could live in peace.

Arnav stared at his phone in disbelief.

Did she just block him?

Damn!!

How dare she, ASR bristled

He once again started pacing to and fro muttering incoherent words in agitation.

Aman looked on anxiously at his boss, having an argument with his brain, whether to go inside or not.

He gathered all the courage and stepped into the devil's lair

"What?" ASR snarled seeing a prey to vent out his frustration

"Uh ASR. The site inspection of D-fab we postponed yesterday. It is to be scheduled for eleven today. We need to leave now" Aman said

"And you are telling this now. How irresponsible. If you can't do your job properly, what's the point of paying you?" ASR growled

"Sorry Sir"

Arnav ignored the apology and left the cabin.

Advaith Kapoor walked them through the newly opening D-fab office.

Arnav was impressed with the work, though he didn't let it show on his face.

He is not particularly fond of the man anyway.

"This part of the office will be opened at the boutique." Advaith pointed out as they stepped into the last part.

"Hmm. I have been in touch with your CEO. We will sign the collaboration contract soon" ASR

"Sure. Looking forward to working with you ASR" Advaith said with a formal smile.

Advaith's phone which was lying on the couch rang and Arnav saw the caller ID

It was saved as jalebi

It was not rocket science to figure out who the jalebi is.

He turned green with envy.

He had been trying to call her since morning and she was simply ignoring his calls. And now, she was calling this man.

He simply couldn't bear it.

"Excuse me ASR. It is an important call. Give me minute" he heard Advaith said with a polite smile and excusing himself with the phone.

Arnav stood their listening to the one sided conversation

"Haa baba. Teek hai. I will pick you up on my way and we will go home together. Yes yes, dinner at home. Waise bhi I'm fed up of three days straight hotel food. Ask buaaji to make aloo poori for me. Okay will see you in the evening." Advaith said and hung up the call.

As he came back from the call, Advaith was taken aback by the rage he saw in Arnav's eyes, directed at him.

'Well, he hates anything and everything related to me' Kushi had told him a few days ago.

Without another word ASR turned on his heels and walked out of D-Fab leaving Advaith more bewildered.

ASR walked briskly towards his car, a plan forming in his head to keep Advaith away from his Kushi and to keep her with him always.
