《Mr. Executive》Chapter 41

The scribbling of my pen against paper reverberates throughout the entire office as Alexander sits there staring off into the distance.
Sighing out loud, I look up at him only to still see him sitting with his head in his hands and peaking from in between his fingers.
It was like he was meeting death at his doorstop not his bloody father.
Discreetly looking at him, I still continue to write on the paper, while letting out a loud audible sigh once more.
Muttering under his breath, Alexander raises his hand and sighs as well.
"Yes Nora?"
"Hmm?" I feign surprise.
"Why are you making weird, annoying loud noises."
I roll my eyes at him as I look up at the clock.
"Well I was thinking since it's nearly five and all, maybe I could go and complete this assignment outside at my own desk." I say trying to pass the hint.
Clearly he gets it as a mortified expression covers his face.
"Don't you dare Nora." He hisses.
"But why Alexander? I'm not ready to meet 'the parents' and all that, especially with the way you look up to your father." I say sarcastically.
"Well I am not doing this on my own." He says huffing.
"This is a family matter Alexander." I say sharply.
"Yeah well for all I care you're family so there." He says smugly.
While I sat there in shock.
Did he really?
"What?" I say staring at him in blatant shock.
"Yup." He says happily, pulling my seat closer to him and pecking me on the lips.
He probably just wanted to change the subject, I think to myself, to disused me from the fact of his father who'll be here in twenty minutes.

The phone ringing brings my attention to Alexander who reaches for it but I smack his hand away and go to answer it.
"That's my job." I say sternly.
"Oh demanding." Alexander voices out as I bend across the table.
No doubt he was staring at my ass.
Almost as if he wanted to prove his pervertedness, he places his hand on my backside.
Squealing and almost falling over the desk, I stare at him wide eyed.
While Alexander calmly stares back, still not removing his hand.
"What are you doing." I hiss, glancing from the ringing phone to him.
"What? My hand slipped."
I roll my eyes at him, "so remove it then."
"It's comfy." He says childishly though his actions were anything but.
Sighing, I knew he wouldn't remove his hand so I decide to finally answer the phone.
"Alexander James' office, Nora Davis speaking, how ma-"
"Nora it's me." Cuts the receptionists voice through my own.
"Oh." Is all I say.
"Mr. David is here to see Mr. Alexander. Should I let him in?"
If that didn't remove Alexander's hand then I had no idea what would.
I nod my head, signaling to Alexander I was letting his father in.
"Great, send him in."
Putting the phone down I look over to Alexander who has a sulky look on his face.
"He's twenty minutes early." Alexander grumbles out.
"Well you have fun," I say as I grab my pen and various papers. "Call me if you need anything." I say happily.
"Oh no you don't." He growls out and cages me into his arms.
"Alexander!" I say, "your father will be here any minute."
"Ugh fine."
The twisting of the door knob makes me pull away from him quickly and to the other side of the room as fast as I could.

The door opens and an almost exact replica of Alexander stands before us. The only difference was his graying hair and wrinkles lining his face.
Other than that he was an incredibly good looking man for his age.
Not that I was into older men or anything, I think awkwardly to myself.
"Father." Alexander says in a stiff and hard voice.
"Ah son! Great to see you again." His father replies back warmly.
Looking from Alexander's tense position to his fathers calm and relaxed demeanor, I frown in confusion.
What the hell was going on?
"And who might this pretty lady be?" He says smiling warmly at me.
"None of your concern father." Snaps Alexander.
"Ah so some random fuck?"
I almost choke on my own saliva as the words leave his fathers lips.
What the hell happened to the nice polite man?
Alexander glares at his father, who simply enters and places himself down onto the seat across from Alexander's desk while I go over to the couch upon his command.
"This is my new personal assistant," Alexander replies back calmly, "Nora Davis."
"Ah!" Says his father once more in his happy mood.
"So you're Nora, so nice to meet you. Stella told me a lot about you."
"She did?" I say in alarm while Alexander groans.
"This is what I was worried about." He mutters though everyone can hear him.
"Oh son don't be so overbearing and self conscious about everything."
Then he turns to me "sorry about my earlier statement but I was worried Alexander hadn't stopped his previous ways, it gives a bad name to the company you see."
I nod, not quite sure exactly what was going on.
"But you know what is good for the company," he says but gets cut off by Alexander.
"Father no please, let's just talk about some new additions I've made and then you can be on your way." Alexander says hurriedly with worry all over his face.
"Nonsense Alex my boy, you know your mother would kill me if I didn't say what I had come for."
"Father,"
"No! Now dear Nora, is it true you and Alexander are in a relationship?" Question his father.
"N-no Mr. James." I usher out hurriedly.
"Oh please call me David. Anyways are you not going to be Alexander's plus one to the charity event tomorrow?"
"Um yes but-"
"Well you're definitely the Nora Stella was talking about. So how would you like to marry our dear Alexander here?" David says joyously.
Completely ignoring my dropped, hanging jaw while Alexander blushed bright red in the face, David still continued to smile from me to Alexander.
Oblivious to the thick tension building in the room.
"Um."
"Why do you embarrass me father. I'm not marrying anyone."
Well okay.
"But why?" David says huffing in indignation.
"Because it's too soon and I said so." Alexander says slowly, voice muffled.
"Well whatever son, we'll discuss it later on at the charity event. Goodbye the both of you."
And with that, he left the office, leaving behind the awkward atmosphere in the room.

Grimm Season 6 Episode 14: In the Nick of Time
After multiple young women disappear in the woods, Nick and the rest of the gang are called to investigate. Meanwhile, Deputy Farris relies on Hank for answers when the kidnapping suspect claims that monsters took his fiance. Elsewhere, Nick has a surprise for Adalind when she arrives at the loft, and Josh contacts his friends from Portland. This story is a season 6 episode 14 fanfiction of the hit NBC show Grimm and, therefore, takes place soon after season 6, episode 13. In this story, we get to see the immediate aftermath of the Grimm finale, see some familiar faces, and answer a few questions that were left up in the air with Grimm's end. This tale is based on the Brother's Grimm fairy tale, Jorinda and Joringel (though I recommend reading the real fairy tale after finishing the book). I do not own Grimm or any of the characters. I wrote this story out of respect and longing for my favorite show that has ended. This story contains violence and mild language.
