Today was a fun day because everyone was talking about how Tyler and I liked each other! In Science, he and James sit behind me and they were whispering a lot. Then later in the day, James came up to me and said, "Tyler likes you... but he thinks you like Jacob. Do you?" "Not as much as I like Tyler," I said. "Okay, then he's either going to call you today and ask you out, or have someone else do it." He smiled slyly.
When I was at my locker, Louis came over and said, "Tyler wants to know if you'll go out with him." "You're lying!" I said, narrowing my eyes. "No, I'm not!" Erin came over and testified, "No, he's not lying, Emily. I saw them talking over there about it." "Okay, Louis," I said. "I'll go out with him, but he needs to ask me himself." [A girl needs to have standards.]
I had study period in the cafeteria today, because my usual teacher has math club on Tuesdays, so we all have to go to different study periods. I always go to the cafeteria instead of the one I was assigned to, because there are like, three study periods that meet in there and it's really fun. So I was sitting at a table with Maggie, Stacy, Melanie, and Hunter and Matt were at the other end of it being assholes.
Tyler was sitting a few tables over. He was talking with Daniel. Then Daniel came over and said, "Emily, Tyler wants to know if you'll go out with him." I guess Louis hadn't talked to them yet. So I told Daniel the same thing I'd told Louis and went back to what I was working on.

After school, Melanie and I decided to walk home to my house instead of taking the bus. When we got outside, James, Scott, Jacob, and Louis were the only people left in front of the school. James saw me and made a gesture for me to come over. I didn't feel like walking that far, so I just looked at him, and he came over to me. Damn straight. [If only that still worked for me.]
"Emily," he said when he arrived, "Tyler was looking for you - he was going to ask you out - where were you?" "What?!" I cried. I could have kicked myself. "Chill," James said. "He'll call you tonight." So Melanie and I walked home and she stayed at my house until 5pm. Then I went online, and James was on. He told me he would call me at 8pm, and we would call Tyler on 3-way.
I was so nervous I was shivering, but James was being such a good friend. We called Tyler and talked for an hour on 3-way. At first it was all awkward silences and James rambled on, trying to fill them up, but then Tyler and I relaxed and started talking, too. James kept bringing up opportunities for Tyler to ask me out, really obviously, but Tyler and I just laughed nervously. Then my mom told me I had to get off the phone. Oh, well, there's always tomorrow. And there's always Michelle's party for Gina. [UM. What?! I am embarrassed by this unacceptable failure to lock it down. I apologize.]

Alfheimr Renaissance
This is a story about a somewhat normal human, on a hike on Hardangervidda in Norway, that end up walking out in Alfheimr instead of Earth. Alfheimr is one of the nine realms of the old Norse religion, home of the light elfs. Its quite a culture shock, and he don't really know the language, culture or religion. The decisions he make have consequences, and some will change Alfheimr. He decide that if he's ever going to get back to Midgard he have to travel to a bigger town, try to find information, make money and so on. So he's trying to be smart, and pretends to be a mysterious wandering magician. Should be easy to fake right? ... and thats the first decision with gigantic consequences, since he doesn't know that only women do magic. A man doing magic is automatically unmanly. Oops. Be warned; English isn't the Authors primary language, and its mostly written in first person view. The story progress will be slow.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week.
