Yesterday was Valentine's Day and Tyler is so cute! We sit together in Science now, because James has been absent and I'd rather sit next to Tyler than Stacy. He said, "Come down to my locker after class, and I'll give you your present." So after class, I went to my locker first and got my stuff for Social Studies, then went downstairs and put it in the classroom. Then I walked to Tyler's locker, which is not too far away, and he was there with Louis, who was like, "Oooh! Emily's here for her present!"
Tyler reached in his locker and handed me a heart-shaped box of chocolates, the kind with assorted fillings. I was like, "Thanks!" and turned to walk away, but he said, "Hold on, I have something else for you." And he reached in his locker again and this time he pulled out a long-stemmed rose. [Then he reached in again and pulled out a rabbit.] It was in a plastic case, with white confetti all around it and a bow of netting tied around the case. He looked so adorable standing there, holding the rose out to me. I took it and hugged him. "Thank you!" I said. Then Ms. Allers told us to get to class.
The chocolates were in a gift bag, covered with tissue paper. I took them out to eat them during Social Studies, and that's when I saw the note. It was written in orange [of course it was] and folded up, held in place with a paper clip. I unfolded it to find that it was the front and back of three pages! I read it slowly and cherished every sentence. I almost cried out of pure joy.
I swear, I have the best boyfriend in the entire universe! He knows I love it when he writes me notes, and that note made me even happier than the rose - which, by the way, is unusually beautiful and vibrant. My mom took a picture of it! I love the idea that he cares about me enough to spend all that time doing something he dislikes - writing notes. Oh, I love him!

Collective Thinking
Dyna Graves grew up thinking she was special. An exception to the average. Not necessarily above her peers, but simply outside their context. However, toward the end of her high school life, she started to realize that nobody was really special. At least not in any fantastical way. Just as she started trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, she got an invitation. A psychic institute scoped her out, realized her psychic potential, and asked if she would undergo psionic training at the Carroll Institute. Almost immediately, Dyna realized that she wasn’t quite up to the same level as many of her peers. Surrounded by clairvoyants and mind readers displaying obvious abilities made her own lack of ability all the more apparent. That was, up until the researchers and scientists of the facility realized that there was a bit more to Dyna Graves than met the eye. After an explosive incident during what should have been a routine experiment, Dyna quickly found herself wrapped up in a world of cutthroat espionage. The story can also be viewed on my website, https://www.towercurator.com/collective-thinking/. Cover art by Zoern.

Hunter - A LitRPG/Xianxia apocalypse novel
A character-centric plot-driven GameLit/LitRPG apocalypse novel with notes of Xianxia. The Omniverse arrived, and with it, judgment. Humanity was found lacking and put in stasis until the Omniheaven deems it necessary. Only those with enough willpower were given a chance to prove their value and free humankind. Ricardo Black was one of them. But unlike his brethren, his talent was too average to attract those who could change his destiny. So, he finds himself alone on a shattered Earth, all technology destroyed, all weaponry made useless, all shelters blown up. Surrounded by monsters, he has one year to prove his value before Earth is open to the alien races of the Omniverse and whatever they bring with them. In the brutal struggles that follow, a certainty defines his being: It doesn't matter what this new world throws at him; He will prevail. Release schedule: 1 chapter every Saturday.
