"Hwyungie.. Hwyungie.."
Taehyung turned around at the sound of little pitter-patter footsteps, to see little Jungkook running towards him. The younger's face looked sad and his eyes filled with tears.
"Slow down, Koo. Or you will fall." Taehyung reprimanded as the younger crashed into him. "Why are you crying?"
Little Jungkook sobbed lightly before it turned in to a full wail. "Mwommy shaid hwyungie weave kwoo."
"Huh?" Taehyung was confused. He didn't knew he was going anywhere and definitely wouldn't leave Jungkook too. "I'm not going anywhere."
That was enough for the small two year old to stop his crying and look at the elder. "Hwyungie nuu goo shcool?"
Taehyung chuckled lightly before ruffling Jungkook's fluffy hair. "Hyungie has to go to school but will be back soon."
Jungkook wiped his tears as he considered that. "Shoon? How shoon?"
"Hmm...." Taehyung had to think for few seconds to come up with something. "Oh- I know! Hyungie will be back before Koo have his lunch. How about that?"
Taehyung had been rather reluctant to go to to kindergarten because he didn't want to get separated from his Koo. But after getting to know that it's only a half a day, Taehyung made his mind up to go. The only thing that came even remotely close to his Koo, was the promise he gave to uncle Junghyun. Even in his small mind, Taehyung knew that he had to study well and train hard, so that he can be a good leader for the pack.
Jungkook had stopped crying, now that he realised his hyung is not going anywhere. "Pwomishe?"
"I promise, Koo."
Taehyung sat on the floor and pulled Jungkook on to his lap as that was their normal way of sitting. Jungkook being an Omega, had always been very clingy. His favourite place to sit was on Taehyung's lap, with head resting over the elder's chest and listening to his heartbeat.
Taehyung gently ran a hand over Jungkook's back, soothing the younger. They stayed like that for few minutes before Jungkook spoke up in his baby voice.
"Hwyungie?"
"Hmm?"
"Kwoo wanna gwo shcool thu."
Taehyung gave a soft laugh at that. "You will, when you're as big as hyung."
That seemed to have gotten rid of all the trouble and problems the small one had with the subject. He nuzzled his face in to the crook of Taehyung's neck, while the latter tightened his hold as a response. "Owkey."

After the first day of school was done, Taehyung was anxious to get back home. He didn't wait to talk with the new friends he made, he didn't wait when his mother wanted to have a small chat with the teacher. He just ran to the car and sat inside, giving impatient glances to his mother to hurry up.

On the way home also, Taehyung was silent. Yoona asked few questions about kindergarten and friends, for which Taehyung gave short answers. Yoona knew her son was just missing his best friend so she went straight to pack house, instead of their own.
When the vehicle was stopped near the pack house, Taehyung quickly got out of the car and ran inside.
"Koo!!"
Taehyung's voice rang through the house and the sound of running footsteps could be heard in the next second. In no time, little Jungkook came in to the view, running with his chubby, wobbly legs.
"Hwyungie!!"
They met in midway, with tightly embracing each other. Jungkook was wailing and Taehyung had tears in his eyes too.
"Anyone would think they had been separated for at least few months." Sonmi said in an amused voice while Yoona chuckled in agreement.
"You wouldn't believe how impatient Tae was on the way. He didn't even wait till I have a proper conversation with the teacher." Yoona shook her head but her gaze was filled with love.
"Same with my one. He didn't even looked at his toys the whole day. Just sat here and there, looking completely lost."
Both women looked at the two kids, who were now sitting on the sofa, talking animatedly about how each of their day went. Jungkook was sittings on Taehyung's lap as always.
Taehyung rumbled about kindergarten and his new friends, making the two adults to listen to it too. It seemed like he had fun and made few friends. Taehyung is anyway a cheery and kindhearted kid, with good manners, so he had no trouble of making friends. Jungkook was little more reserved than that, always trying to stick to Taehyung and pretty much ignoring anyone else. He was happy with his hyung and didn't need anybody else.
________________________________________
Little Jungkook seemed to be sulking a lot these days. He was anyway in a cranky mood in the morning half, when Taehyung was in kindergarten. But unlike earlier days, he doesn't bounce back to his cheery self even when Taehyung comes home.
Yes, he plays and talks and listened to Taehyung's daily update about his kindergarten, but it was not the same as before. Both Yoona and Sonmi noticed it and they asked few times from Jungkook but the latter didn't say what was bothering him.
Things become even more gloomy when Taehyung one day came back from kindergarten, wearing a friendship bracelet given to him by one of his friends. Jungkook eyed the bracelet with a scowl on his face and even refused to have dinner that night.
Taehyung didn't knew what was happening. He only knew that it made him really upset to see his beloved Koo sad. Both were too young to know the ugly emotion behind these actions.

Things took a turn to worst when Taehyung started to go to his friends house for play dates and in turn, they came to his house. The first thing Taehyung did was to introduce Jungkook to his friends, his little mind wanted Jungkook to play with them too.
But Jungkook didn't like to have Taehyung's divided attention. He was used to being the only thing in Taehyung's universe so it made him really angry to have it shared with others.
He threw few tantrums, made a mess of Taehyung's toys and finally, Sonmi took him away. She didn't ask what was wrong as she could guess it. A mother's heart can always look past the anger, and see the pain in her child's heart.
From that day onwards, Jungkook stopped coming to Taehyung's house whenever the elder had his friends over. Which was not that often so all was still okay.
But one day, Sonmi suddenly had to go for an unforseen urgent work so she had dropped Jungkook with Yoona. Coincidentally, Taehyung's friends were at his house on that day too. The little boy made his way to Taehyung's room, excited to play with his hyung but to his surprise, there were few other kids inside.
"Where ish hwyungie?" Jungkook asked in a disappointed voice as he looked around the room and didn't see Taehyung.
"Oh, he just went to-" A kind looking boy started to answer but a girl interrupted his words.
"What are you doing here?" She asked in a irritated way, while the third boy rolled his eyes too.
Jungkook's lips wobbled a bit and his eyes started to moisten. The disappointed he was feeling, combined with the disrespectful way the girl spoke, was too much for his little heart. The tears started to flow down his rosy cheeks.
"Oh great!" The girl threw her hands in a dramatic manner. "He starts crying again."
The other boy, not the kind looking one, spoke up in a loud voice too. "Of course he will, he's nothing but a cry baby."
"I don't know why Tae is friends with him." The girl spoke up again, not at all bothered by the small kid, who now were sobbing too.
"Guys." The first boy said in a reprimanding tone. "Don't be rude. Look, he's crying."
"Hwyungie ish koo's fwend. Mwine!" Jungkook spoke through his sobs, voice shaking due to emotions too hard for his heart.
"Why would he need you, when he has us as his friends?" The rude girl said with a laugh. "You're just a cry baby."
"N-nu. Hwyungie wuves Kwoo."
"Please.. who could love a baby like you? I don't think he even likes-"
Her words were cut off by the sound of door opening. Taehyung stood there, with his hands full of treats and drinks.
The girl looked horrified at the sight as she feared that Taehyung had heard her words. So did the other two boys. But Taehyung didn't pay any attention to that. His eyes were solely focused on the crying younger.
Taehyung walked towards the table and put the food and drinks down. Then he walked back to Jungkook and sat on the floor next to him. Taehyung tugged the younger's hand, until the latter lowered himself on to Taehyung's lap.
Jungkook cried even loudly as Taehyung wrapped him in a tight embrace, making his head lay over the elder's heart. He cried as Taehyung ran his hand, up and down over Jungkook's back, in an attempt to calm him down.
To say Taehyung was angry, is an understatement. His little heart had never felt this much rage, he actually wanted to rip the girl's head off for the things she said. But he patiently waited till Jungkook calms down a bit as he understood it to be the priority.
After few minutes, Jungkook's sobs reduced. He was not as sad as he was. How could he be, when he's in the protective arms of his favourite person.
"Tae-" The girl tried to speak but Taehyung cut her words.
"I think you all should leave." His voice had a strange power in it. "And don't come back. Ever!"
The girl looked as if Taehyung had slapped her, before walking out of the room in a angry way. The rude boy followed too. The other boy started to walk towards the door but then stopped and looked at the duo sitting on the floor.
"I'm sorry." His voice had a genuine regret in it. "I tried to stop- I'm sorry Jungkook."
He looked at Taehyung, who after few seconds of staring, gave a faint nod. With that, he left the room too, leaving the two boys sitting on the floor alone.
"Koo.." Taehyung spoke up in a tender voice, and was relieved to hear the little hum in reply. "I'm sorry for what they said."
Jungkook was silent for few second, before speaking in a faint voice. "Dey shaid hwyungie no wuv Kwoo."
"They are wrong. Hyungie loves Koo. Only Koo."
Jungkook slowly raised his head to look at Taehyung's face. "Ownly Kwoo?"
"Yes." Taehyung replied while wiping the younger's tears with his hand. "And hyungie will not be their friend anymore. Okay?"
The answer came few seconds later, but it was with a much happier tone. "Owkey."
And just as Taehyung promised, he never spoke to the two friends that had spoken rudely to Jungkook. Only Hyunsik, the one who apologised, had managed to continue his friendship with Taehyung. But even he was not welcomed at Taehyung's house anymore.
Taehyung will not tolerate anyone that would hurt his precious baby.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
