《Till Death Do Us Part - A Taekook Love Story.》36 - Where Do We Go From Here?

After a short talk with Jimin, Taehyung returned to where Jungkook was waiting for him. He couldn't believe Jimin didn't tell him about Jungkook being in the police station. Jimin of course refused to talk about that and anyway, there wasn't any time for that right now either.
Jungkook was sitting on a short wall, built surrounding a flower patch. His mind was having so many thoughts as he waited for Taehyung. Jungkook didn't knew how to start the conversation or what to say.
He just wanted a chance to see Taehyung again. And now he got that. He will figure out the rest later.
"" JK's voice did managed to soothe him a bit. ""
"I know, buddy. Thank you."
Jungkook watched as Taehyung walked towards him. He had an unreadable expression on his face.
"So.." Taehyung started off in a tight voice. "Care to tell me what this is about?"
Jungkook rolled his eyes at that. "Nope. Did you bring your car?"
"Uhh... Yeah."
"Good. Then you can take me home."
Taehyung just stared at the younger for few seconds before speaking up. "You want me to drive you all the way home?"
"Yeah." Jungkook's eyes had a challenging look in them. "Why, you can't do that?"
Taehyung blinked few times as he was literally shocked with how this conversation was going. Never in million years he would have thought that Jungkook would even speak to him, let alone asking him for a ride. Something definitely weird was going on.
"No no. It's cool." Taehyung quickly answered the younger. "I'll take you home. I anyway promised uncle Junghyun that I'll take care of you."
Jungkook only gave a nod in acknowledgement of that and after another few seconds of silent staring, Taehyung went to bring the car from the parking.
The first 30 minutes or so of the car ride was silent. To Taehyung, it actually felt like the silence just before a storm hit. He talked with V and his wolf didn't get what was happening too.

After what felt like an eternity, Jungkook spoke up.
"So." Jungkook's voice was so soft and it had a melancholy tone to it too. "It only took a prophecy to make you run away from me, huh?"
Taehyung felt as if his world stopped spinning on its axis with that one sentence. By a miracle, he managed to pull over and stopped the car before he hit anything.
"W-what did you s-say?" Taehyung found it difficult to speak with the lump that seemed to be stuck in his throat. "H-how do you know that?"
Jungkook only shrugged his shoulders. "I have my ways."
"Koo, I-"
"I have to admit though. Of all the things I suspected to be the reason, I never even imagined this one."
"I don't-"
"Did you always knew about it or got to know it later?"
Jungkook was looking at Taehyung and the latter felt that gaze peirced right through his soul. It was too intense and he couldn't help but avert his eyes.
Jungkook let out a low chuckle as he turned his head to look out the car window too.
"Woah." The younger's voice was barely audible. "All of you made a fool out of me, from the very beginning. Was is atleast fun, mr Kim?"
Taehyung wiped his face with his hand few times before covering his face with his palm.
"Can you drop the Kim please?" Taehyung's voice was a little muffled due to his palm but Jungkook heard it clearly. "I really hate it when you call me that."
"Nope." Jungkook didn't hesitate even for a second. "I don't believe you deserve to be called by anything else. Unless you earn them again."
Taehyung sighed loudly. Things were spiralling out of control and there wasn't anything he could do to stop it. There's no point in lying to Jungkook now. He wouldn't believe them anymore.
"I will call you Kim, as long as you keep throwing me away like garbage."

"For God's sake, Koo.." Taehyung let out another exasperated sigh. "I don't think of you as garbage. You're the most precious thing to me in the world, you should know that by now."
"You don't throw away precious things though." Jungkook had to take a moment to calm his heart, just so that he could finally tell everything he wanted to tell. "You keep them close to your heart. You keep them safe and protected."
Taehyung felt those words stabbing his heart like a knife. If words had the power to kill someone, this would be where Kim Taehyung take his last breath.
The silence dragged on for few minutes, as they both stayed lost in their own struggles and sorrows.
"So, Where do we go from here, Mr Kim?"
"I-." Taehyung really didn't knew how to answer that. So he closed his mouth without saying anything.
"Can you do us a favour though?"
Taehyung's attention spiked up at the pronoun, 'us'. "Yeah."
"I can't shift yet. Can you let V meet JK, while in the human form?"
"JK?"
"My wolf."
"Oh."
While it is definitely doable, normally the wolf does not surface and take control of the human form, or vice versa, as it it considered an invasion of one's boundaries. The wolf and the human coexist in a shared mind but their physical forms are different.
There are exceptional situations, like if the human is in danger and requires the strength of the wolf. But who is Taehyung, or even V, to decline a request made by Jungkook. Anyway V had been dying to meet his mate too.
"Yeah. So, can you?"
"Of course."
Taehyung closed his eyes for a second and when he opened them again, it was blazing with a dark red colour.
"Hey, V." Jungkook gave a soft smile, which the other returned. "It's good to see you again."
Then Jungkook closed his eyes and it took him few seconds to open them again. He was not as practiced as Taehyung with the consciousness switch. His pretty doe eyes are now shining with a bright blue.
""
Taehyung, or rather V, didn't answer. Both wolves just wanted to acknowledge each other. There wasn't any need to speak.
After few minutes of being in each other's presence, both wolves fell back and let the humans take control again.
Jungkook was smiling softly to himself, while looking out the window and Taehyung assumed he was talking with his wolf. The elder was so relieved and happy that Jungkook managed to restore the broken connection with his wolf. He would never be able to forgive himself if his actions made the younger lose such a big part of himself.
Taehyung started the car again and just drove. It provided a much needed distraction from all the heavy thinking, as he solely concentrated on driving.
Jungkook leaned his head on the window and stared out in silence. After sometime, Taehyung could hear the soft snoring sounds, indicating that the younger had fallen asleep.
Taehyung made only two stops along the way. Once to cover Jungkook's sleeping figure with the extra sweater that he keeps in the trunk. And the next time to fill up the car with fuel. Jungkook didn't wake up at all, until they reached the pack house.
To say the Jeons and Taemin were surprised, would be an understatement. Sonmi almost had a heart attack when she opened the door to Taehyung, carrying a sleeping Jungkook in his arms.
Junghyun offered a room for Taehyung but the latter opted to return to Seoul. He knew that another confrontation was definitely on his way once Jungkook woke up from his sleep, and Taehyung was not ready for it.
So, he decided to run away, again, Even with knowing how futile his attempts will be.
He knew very well that there's absolutely nothing he can do now, to avoid Jungkook.

Those Zombies Again
One day Sam wakes up in a world full of zombies and tries to survive.PSFirst of all i would not recommend this novel if you haven't read like hundred of novels already. Its pretty weird and depressing novel. This story is told almost completely from MC point of view. Third person.MC is a pretty ugly random guy with different psychological problems. He is antisocial and limited person.Lore - Since MC is limited and barely interested in people or just surroundings, you will get pretty limited descriptions on stuff, it was meant to be like that.Characters - Obviously for the same reason, you will not see much characters, usually you wont get their description or even names.Fights - I personally hate those fights in novels which take like few chapters to describe some shitty encounters. For example MC is making his "move" and then you get half chapter of description of his thoughts and the ways his face is looking, and the way like his opponent surprised and the way crowd is reacting and so on. I really hate all that shit so fights in this novel will be described not that often, only if an equal or a new opponent, and only in a strict and straightforward way, no bullshit. Now this novel is not exactly fantasy, its more like grim realistic-fantasy.But i will have to explain what i mean. Lets take rape in most novels as an example. Usually MC will be justified to rape a girl one way or another. Common example is aphrodisiac. Or the girl were trying to kill him so he had to "punish" her. Or she just happened to jump on his thing and then after rape she become his girlfriend etc, Those are examples of "fan service" in novel. So MC would be justified and readers woun't feel too uncomfortable to read something like that.So there is no "fan service" in this novel, like at all. You will have to read some stuff that will make you feel uncomfortable and you woun't like it.Common sense also means that there is barely gonna be any "random" events which MC is gonna be part of. No treasures and superpowers he founds because he is "special". He will not meet antagonists on his way. This novels world will not spin around MC in any way. He will usually sit in his deep cave and no one around will give a damn about him or even know of his existence. So this novel is not for you to have fun and enjoy reading. Not to make you feel comfortable, satisfied or happy. Its probably the opposite. There are some standards which novel usually sticks to in order to become popular. Obviously i did not meet those standards at all.
