Jungkook was sitting on the sofa and trying to watch a movie. Key word being 'trying', because certain someone, was not letting him do that.

"Hyungie.." Jungkook said in a reprimanding tone as he half-heartedly tried to push Taehyung away from his shoulder for the nth time but the elder was not budging at all.

A small whine was heard in the next second and Jungkook subconsciously shuddered at the vibrations created by Taehyung's lips, which had been resting below Jungkook's ear for the past minute or so.

Pulling the skin with his teeth and then soothing it with his tongue. Placing chaste kisses as an apology afterwards. And repeat.

Jungkook sighed and paused the movie, again. He turned his head to the side a bit to give a scowling look to Taehyung, while trying to stop the small smile that's threatening to spill over to his face.

"Hyungie, can you stop being clingy for one second, please?"

Taehyung was stilled for moment before abruptly pulling his arms away from Jungkook. He even scooted to the side of the sofa a bit, making a little distance between him and Jungkook.

A look of fear flashed across Jungkook's face. He was only joking, he hadn't meant Taehyung to take his words to heart of act upon them. His hand reached forward to touch Taehyung's shirt while his lower lip wobbled a bit. "I-I didn't mean-"

Taehyung didn't let Jungkook finish his words as he scooted closer and wrapped his arms around Jungkook again, even more tighter this time. He resumed his work on Jungkook's neck like the previous conversation didn't even happen.

"Your one second gone."

Jungkook let out a breath that he didn't even realise he was holding as he let himself be shrunk in to Taehyung's chest. He should have known really, Taehyung is the most understanding and level-headed boyfriend anyone could have asked for. There was no way he would misunderstand something silly like that.

But that one damn second of doubt scared Jungkook so much and made him realise just how tight the hold Taehyung has on his heart.

"You scared me." Jungkook whispered in a shaky voice, making Taehyung halt what he was doing.

Then a sigh followed. "Baby.."

"I know, I know." Jungkook rushed to answer. "I was teasing, you were teasing, it's just that.."

This time, Taehyung pulled his head back to look at Jungkook and gave a soft smile. "Just what?"

"I was being stupid, I guess." Jungkook was full on pouting now. "I'm sorry, hyungie."

"Silly Koo." Taehyung cooed before raising his hands to pinch both of Jungkook's cheeks, softly of course.

Jungkook snuggled more in to Taehyung's embrace and the elder settled on the sofa comfortably. He then resumed the movie they were watching.

They were silently watching for about 15 minutes before Jungkook spoke up again. "Oh, hyungie, I'm going shopping tomorrow. Need to buy some gifts for mom and dad. And also for uncle Taemin."

"Gifts? Of course you can get them gifts but what for?"

Jungkook looked a little mortified and it got the full attention of Taehyung. "Koo?"

"Nothing special. I was just thinking that maybe we should take something for them, when we go back next week."

"Oh." Taehyung blinked few times as the idea sounded really good. "That's good, why didn't I think of it."

Jungkook laughed softly. It was actually JK's idea, to which Jungkook completely agreed. He would love to buy for gifts for the elders. He owe his parents an apology anyway.

Taehyung watched the younger boy with fond eyes. He wasn't sure whether Jungkook was doing it consciously or not but the younger had lately started to embrace his Omega side more.

It was really subtle, like making meals for Taehyung, trying to make him relax after a hard day at work and now, thinking of buying gifts for their parents.. Jungkook was subconsciously trying to look after his family in a way a typical Omega would do. He was slowly turning back to his soft, kind and caring self. Exactly how he would have been if life didn't threw a curveball at him.

It didn't make any difference to Taehyung though. Each and every side of Jungkook's is treasured and worshipped by Taehyung. Let it be the strong, confident and independent side or the soft, kind and sort of pliant side. Taehyung absolutely loves all of it.

"Sure. You want me to come too? I can probably ask Joonie hyung for a day off?"

"No, it's okay. I can manage."

"Never said you couldn't. I just wanted grab the chance to take you on a shopping date again."

Jungkook didn't say anything and just chuckled. And Taehyung joined him too. Then they both turned their attention back to the movie.

"Hmm.. mom would love a necklace. Or a bracelet maybe." Jungkook was quietly mumbling to himself, looking at the line of shops. "And for dad and uncle Taemin..hmm.."

"-are you sure this will work? I don't want to get caught."

Jungkook couldn't help but hear a sanippet of a conversation as two people walked passed him. He didn't pay any attention to it as it was not his business. Until, one of them mentioned Taehyung's name.

"We can't let Kim Taehyung get away this time. We have to-"

By then, the duo were out of Jungkook's earshot. Jungkook was kind of frozen for few seconds as he contemplated what to do. It could very well be some other Taehyung but what if.. what if?

Not wanting to take any chances, Jungkook decided to follow them. The two men did seem like they are in a hurry, making conversation in hushed tones. Jungkook closely followed them, trying to listen in to what they were saying, without making it too obvious.

He couldn't hear much but he managed to catch Jimin's name, making him be sure that they were indeed talking about his hyungie.

Jungkook wanted to stop the two guys and confront them but didn't want to attract other people's attention too. Luckily, the duo seemed to be walking out of the shopping mall, and towards the parking lot.

Once they all were in a somewhat secluded part of the parking lot, Jungkook called out to the two guys.

"Hey!"

The two men quickly turned back to look at Jungkook, with a confused gaze in their eyes. "Yes?"

"Heard you two talking about Kim Taehyung." Jungkook said in a voice that oozed confidence.

The two men shared a quick glance before one of them spoke up. "Uhh.. I think you got the wrong one."

Jungkook took a step closer, JK already staring to harness that inner power he got as a result of marking his alpha. "Listen, you piece of shit-"

Jungkook couldn't complete his sentence as he felt someone gently holding his shoulder. He turned around, and there stood a pretty girl, with a wicked gleam in her eyes.

"My my!" The girl stared in an awed voice. "You're a handsome one, aren't you?"

Jungkook pushed the girl's hand away from his shoulder. "What the-"

Suddenly the girl threw some powder at Jungkook's face, making the latter fall down on the ground immediately, already unconscious.

"Too bad, it's all gonna go to waste."
