《Madara x Oc》Chapter 21

"Too slow" I said mockingly as I dodged around Masura's well placed kick. Madara came behind him and punched him in the side hard enough to send him sliding across the grass. I stood up a bit straighter with Madara next to me, looking as Masura wiped a bit of blood from his lip and leaned up.
"Damn it" He muttered bitterly
"You are the one who asked to go against both of us" I said and he smiled faintly, a bit of blood staining his teeth
"Yeah I know but it was supposed to be a spar not just Taijutsu" He said and I smiled down at him and bent over a bit
"What are you going to use when you're out of chakra?" I asked and Madara nodded next to me
"Taijutsu is not to be underestimated, it is fundamental for any shinobi to know it and it's important that you are the best at it" He said and I nodded in agreement
"Why? So you guys can show me off?" He grumbled, pushing himself up to his feet
"No, so you stay alive" I said and he smiled slightly, rubbing the back of his head
"I guess you're right.. But you guys are crazy strong" he said and I smiled wider with pride
"Yeah and you aren't doing half bad against us.." I said lightly but we all froze feeling a spike of familiar chakra
"Ami" I muttered, immediately darting off to the hospital. As soon as we got in the door the lady at the front desk sighed and simply pointed down the hall. I rolled my eyes, silently cursing the fact that Akemi was considered too old to run the front desk anymore.. Now she was cooped up in an office dealing with the Medical ninja's instead of the patients. I followed the chakra that was all too familiar and found myself outside of a door that had yelling on the other side of it.
"Yep this is it" I said lightly, taking a seat outside
"Are we not going in?" Masura asked and I shrugged
"She really only needs Kagami with her and trust me.. You probably don't want to go in there" I said, reaching out a hand to knock on the door
"We are out here if you need anything Ami" I called through the door
"I hate you mom! You said this was a fulfilling experience and it's not!!" She screamed and I giggled and glanced at Madara who was more pale than usual
"I almost murdered Tobirama when I was giving birth to Ami.. and Hashirama with Masura... but Masura's head seemed impossibly bigger than hers" I said thoughtfully glancing at the boy then back to Madara with narrowed eyes
"I blame you for that" I said poking him in the forehead. He chuckled but it didn't quite reach his eyes as he looked wearily at the door. I relaxed in my seat slightly and listened to my daughter's screams and while I chuckled slightly at what she yelled to the poor attendants.. Madara and Masura were growing more pale by the second. My eyes snapped open when I heard a loud thump like a body keeling over and I sighed getting to my feet
"That was probably Kagami" I muttered
"Stay here boys" I added as I dipped in the room. Ami looked as though she wanted to both laugh and scream as she looked at the poor boys form on the floor
"Hey sweetheart" I greeted walking to the side of her bed. She looked at me through teary eyes and gasped in pain

"Why does it hurt so much" She said and I shrugged
"You are pushing a child out of a rather small place." I said and she whined. I glanced at the two attendants and narrowed my eyes at them slightly.. They were both fairly young and they both looked as though they were freaking out mentally. I placed my palm over her stomach and immediately felt rage boil up in me
"YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOTS" I yelled pushing them both to the side as I pulled my hair into a small ponytail.
"Get the fuck out of this room right now! Go to Akemi Senju and tell her Naria said to fire both of you and never to let you work in this hospital again you unexperienced fools!" I yelled, flaring my chakra dangerously to make sure they didn't argue. They both ran from the room
"Madara, Masura come here and close the door" I growled as I stepped between Ami's propped up legs to save the boys the mental scarring. They both came in and I motioned them to stand on both sides of her bed
"Mom what's wrong? Is he okay?" Ami asked frantically and I quickly ripped open her gown at the stomach
"You are fine and he should be fine.. No thanks to the dumbass's who tried to birth a child ass backwards" I growled as I used medical ninjutsu to feel where the child was placed.
"W-what?" Masura mumbled and I glanced up at him with raised eyebrows
"I don't have enough time or patients to set this up properly so its gonna hurt a lot more than it should.. You are here to comfort your sister.. I'm sorry in advance sweetheart" I muttered and just as she looked at me with wide eyes I focused my chakra, cutting into the skin above her pelvis. She let out a screech and I cringed slightly as I cut slightly deeper. I gently reached in and grabbed hold of a itty bitty leg. I lightly tugged and cupped the his back as I pulled out the wriggling baby. I heard another thud and when I glanced up Masura was flat on his back next to Kagami.
"Thank the gods for Madara then" I muttered
"Here" I said and he moved to gently take the writhing, crying child from my arms. I cut the cord and started to heal Ami while Madara moved to find some form of towel.
"Can I see him" Ami panted and I nodded
"Hold on let me check him really quick" I said and I walked over to Madara who was at the little side station. He was paler than usual and I noticed his hands shake slightly as he dried off his grandson
"More than you expected?" I asked lightly as I helped him and glanced over the baby to make sure he was healthy
"Just a bit" he said sarcastically and I smiled. I grabbed a little blanket and wrapped it around the baby and brought it to Ami.
"Can you wake up the boys?" I asked Madara and he nodded walking over to smack the two awake.
"Sorry I wasn't here from the beginning sweetie, if I had know those two were so incompetent I would have been in here in an instant" I said and she shook her head, her eyes glued on her son
"It's okay now" She whispered and I smiled, placing a kiss to the side of her head
"I'm proud of you Ami" I said quietly and she smiled, raising her eyes to meet mine

"Thank you so much mom" she said and I saw her eyes water slightly.
"See, it is a fulfilling experience" I said and she nodded quickly, her lip quivering
"Now you know how much I love you when I say it.. What you feel right now for this little boy does not go away" I said and a few tears slipped down her cheeks as she reached out an arm to wrap around me
"I love you too mom" She whispered and I smiled hugging her back. I heard the door slide open and I straightened up to see Akemi looking thoroughly annoyed
"I apologize" She said simply and I smiled
"It's fine Akemi.. Come look" Ami said and she walked over immediately to look at the child
"Aw he looks like Masura did" She said and I chuckled
"Speaking of where is the boy?" She asked and as if on cue the two boys stood up woozily
"What happened?" They said almost in unison but Kagami quickly got his bearing and stumbled towards the bed
"Ami I'm so sorry" he said quickly but she smiled and kissed him softly. As soon as they broke apart Kagami looked down and placed his hand across the boy's chest, a huge smile spreading across his face. Madara came over to me and I leaned my head on his shoulder
"I'm sorry" he said almost immediately and I raised an eyebrow even though he couldn't see it
"For?" I asked, looking up at him
"I wasn't here for you when you went through this" He said simply, his eyes still glued to the happy kids, marveling over the newborn. I had no idea what to say for a moment, I had told him that it didn't matter because he came back but seeing Ami and Kagami together gave me some idea of what it would have been like to have a father present I felt a bit of bitterness.
"Mom?" I heard Ami's voice and I blinked and looked up at her
"Huh?" I asked and she furrowed her brows
"You okay?" She asked and then I felt it and I reached up to wipe the tear that had slipped from my eye
"Yeah, I am really happy for you sweetie" I said quietly not really wanting to voice how I was slightly jealous of my daughter. Madara caught on though, he tightened his grip around my waist and leaned his head against mine.
"I'm fine, you don't have to feel bad" I said quietly as I broke away from him to walk over to Akemi.
"They will not be coming back here until they go through training all over again and are cleared by me personally" She said immediately and I nodded
"Thanks Akemi" I said and I wrapped my arms around her slightly frail form.
"What's with you? we never hug" She said hugging me back
"I know, I just appreciate everything you have done for me" I said as I straightened up. She smiled slightly and reached her hand up to pat my cheek
"Don't worry about it Naria" She said but she sent me a knowing look that made me smile. The door banged open behind Akemi and I flinched
"Damn it Hashirama have you not learned how to be quiet" I scolded immediately and the man seemed to wither under the glare I sent him
"I was just excited" he whispered and I sighed as he and Tobirama walked in.
"Congratulations Ami" He whisper yelled and Ami laughed as she reached an arm out to give Hashirama an awkward hug as well as Tobirama.
"Thank you uncle" She said softly and I saw both men smile down at the child
"He looks a lot like Masura" Tobirama said and I smiled
"Yeah I know" I said moving to stand next to the men
"Have you got a name?" Hashirama asked and Ami sent Kagami a glance before nodding
"Kenji" She said and the smile that spread across her lips would have made even the most stubborn man smile.
"I know you just got here boys but you should leave her be to rest up" Akemi said and I nodded
"Yeah, I know I didn't wanna see your ugly mugs after I gave birth" I said and both men looked at me at the same time with nearly the same disbelieving face. I giggled and moved them out of the way so I could pat Kagami on the shoulder then press a kiss to Ami's head along with Kenji
"Sleep well Ami, we will be back tomorrow morning" I said and she nodded thankfully. I moved back and let everyone else say their goodbyes and filter past me out the door until it was just me and Madara along with the other two.
"Kagami" He said, immediately gathering the attention of the young Uchiha
"I know that you didn't have much of a chance to get to know your father" He said and Kagami seemed to straighten up slightly
"Daddy" Ami half scolded but Madara shook his head
"My point is that you didn't get a chance to learn from his mistakes, I have no doubt Ami has talked to you at great length about all my faults and mistakes so at least learn from mine" He said and I smiled slightly
"Don't mess up, because Ami and Kenji are going to be the absolute best part of your life" He said and I saw Ami tear up slightly
"I won't" Kagami said firmly and Madara nodded, reaching out his hand to place on Kagami's shoulder for a moment before bending over to give Ami a kiss on the cheek and Kenji one on the head
"Thanks dad" She whispered and I saw a smile spread on Madara's face
"I love you Ami, rest well" He said quietly and she nodded giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Love you Ami, Kagami" I called from the door as Madara strided towards me
"Love you too mom/Naria" They both said at the same time. I silently closed the door and Masura leaned up from the wall to walk with us.
"Was it all you thought it would be Masura?" I asked and he silently shook his head, a small horrified look still on his pale face
"You okay?" I asked with a bit of a laugh and he shook his head but looked at me
"Is at always like that?" He asked and I chuckled
"No, I had to do emergency surgery because the two attendants didn't realize that the boy was backwards" I said and he got a slightly more grossed out face
"You are going to have to get over your squeamishness if you intend on having a child one day" I said lightly and he scrunched up his nose
"I will just make sure you are there when she gives birth" He said and I laughed. We made it back home silently and Masura immediately wandered off to take a shower while I walked up to my bedroom. WHen I turned around I expected to see Madara who I thought followed me I was looking at open door. I shrugged and changed into my shorts and shirt before sitting back on the bed and opening a book. I was humming lightly to myself as I read over the pages I had read at least ten times when I heard the door creak slightly. I glanced up over the pages and saw Madara moving to kneel down on the bed. I closed the book and sat up so I was facing him and looked into his only visible dark eye
"Are you okay Madara?" I asked quietly, reaching up to feel his forehead absently but he caught my wrist and moved to intertwine his fingers with mine
"I love you" He said and a smile twitched at my lips as I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought him down on the bed with me
"I love you too Madara, and I love my life the way it has played out.. Rough patches included" I said firmly and I felt him wind his arms around me and pull me against his chest. It was quiet for a bit as we both just hugged each other and I was nearly asleep when Madara moved from my grasp. I immediately whined at the loss of warmth and he chuckled
"I have to change my clothes" He said and I whined again.
"Just take off your shoes and robes" I said and I heard fabric shifting. A moment later the bed dipped again and I was pleased to feel Madara's bare skin under my fingertips as he laid down next to me. I moved so I was lying half way over the top of him and nuzzled my face past his hair so my lips were pressed against his neck. I wrapped one arm around his shoulder while he lifted his to wrap around my waist, hugging me close to his warm chest.
(Four months later)
I woke up slowly to the sounds of winds blowing outside the window. It wasn't loud or bothersome.. More pleasant and soothing. I opened my eyes and no matter how many times I woke up in his arms it never once got old. All of his hair was swept behind his shoulders so I could see his peaceful face clearly. His arm was wrapped firmly around my waist while the other was stretched out under my pillow. I moved my hand from around his shoulder to gently run the tips of my fingers through his hair. He stirred slightly and I smiled, moving a bit closer to press a kiss to his nose. He hummed appreciatively but didn't open his eyes.
"Morning" I said quietly, moving my hand through his long thick hair, gently detangle any knots I found.
"I will never grow tired of this" He mumbled and I was sure he was still half asleep. I smiled and leaned forward to press my forehead to his.
"Me neither" I whispered closing my eyes. The hand that was on my waist moved up my body and I smiled when his slightly calloused palm touched my cheek. When I opened my eyes his sharingan was staring back at me and a smile tugged at my lips
"Why do you always do that?" I asked and he smiled, letting his eyes spin black to there usual shade of black
"Because you are always so beautiful" He said, not skipping a beat and I smiled wider
"I love you" I whispered and he pulled me closer to his body, his arms moving to tighten around my waist to hug me close and pull me slightly on top of him
"I love you too" He said and I couldn't stop the soft giggle from coming between my lips. It was quiet for a bit, Madara slowly stroking his hand up and down my back while I ran my fingers across his chest. We had our other hands clasped loosely together at our side and I absently played with his long fingers. I was drifting back to sleep when I heard Masura's door open
"Hey are you two decent?" He called
"No" I said and he made a gagging noise on the other side of the door
"She's joking" Madara said and I whined as the door opened
"You're no fun" I said and he chuckled underneath me
"What time are we meeting Ami for the mission?" Masura asked, climbing up on the side of the bed
"Whenever, it's not as though she will be asleep" I said with a light laugh.. She had moved into Kagami's house since he lived alone already.. But either way it was just down the street from our house so it really wasn't such a big difference.
"Okay well I'm going to get ready and start breakfast" He said and I nodded
"We will be down in a bit" I said, reaching out to ruffle his already disheveled hair
"Noo don't" He whined, running his fingers through it but failing half way down
"How do you deal with this dad?" he whined and Madara chuckled
"Your mom likes to run her fingers through it.. I honestly don't do much" He said amusedly and I laughed
"Just go find yourself a girl that appreciates your hair" I said and he rolled his eyes and turned to walk out of the room.
"I guess that's our alarm to get up" I said, pushing myself off of him only to be tugged back down. He pressed his lips to mine in a loving kiss that made my heart flutter slightly and I smiled widely as I pushed myself up again
"Never gets old" I whispered as I looked down into his dark eyes. As we got ready I absently hummed a song I got stuck in my head a few days ago and Madara chuckled while pulling on his robes.
"Isn't that the song they had playing in the tea shop?" He asked and I sighed
"It has been stuck in my head since we went thereeee" I whined as I pulled on a fishnet shirt
"What's that?" He asked strictly and I smiled
"An undershirt" I said simply and his frown deepened
"I don't like it" He said and I giggled as I padded to the closet
"It's more breathable than a long sleeve shirt.. More importantly check this out" I said as I pulled out the long sleeve, thigh length kimono. It was the same purple as Madara's favorite robe but it had a slightly lighter purple along the edges. The obi was black and so were the leggings I wore under it.
"It's awesome right, check this out" I said, walking a bit closer to him and showing him the hem of the sleeves. Along the hem was the Senju clan symbol stitched in beautifully and I smiled turning around. I felt his fingers touch the fan that I wore proudly across my back
"It's lovely" he said and I grinned turning back to him
"I got it specially made, and I got Ami one too but I have yet to give it to her" I said pointing to the bag sitting by my nightstand
"I'm sure she will love it" He said and I felt my chest swell slightly with happiness
"Do you think she is excited to go on a mission again after so long?" Madara asked as he started to wrap his shins
"I think so, she has been in that house taking care of Kenji for months.. I know I wanted to get out and fight some people" I said with a little laugh as I brushed out my hair. After we all were ready we ate breakfast and made our way over to Ami's house. Masura didn't even bother knocking before opening the door and I smiled seeing Ami half asleep with one leg thrown over the back of the chair and Kenji asleep over the top of her.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
