《Only you can make me feel better... (Calamity x Drift)》Chapter 25: Midnight problems

It was 18:30 and I was in the bathroom doing my hair. Tonight I would take Calamity out to dinner at Lucky Landing. I wanted to go there earlier with her, but then Rodas just made a problem so that didn't work out. But now, we can finally go there and eat.
I sprayed some men perfume and looked at myself in the mirror and thought I was ready. I thought it was time to go, so I left the bathroom and walked downstairs. I saw Calamity was at the front door waiting for me, while on her phone. She was wearing her stage 3 clothes. I smirked and walked to her, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind. As she noticed it, she lowered her phone and turned her head to mine. I gave her a kiss on her lips. I asked after I broke the kiss. She replied and I released my arms from her waist. We left the house, hand in hand.
After some walking, we arrived at Lucky and went inside the restaurant. We were taken to a seat for 2 persons. We sat down and looked at the menu. There was a lot of sushi to choose from, so we ordered a mix of all the them.
After some waiting, our food was served and we began eating. I asked. Calamity said smiling. I said smirking. I wanted to take her to another beautiful place where we could cuddle and watch the stars. She said. We talked and laughed the rest of the time here. We finished our food, paid the food, and we were now leaving the restaurant.
We went to the edge of the island behind Lucky, and sat down on the grass with Calamity leaning against my chest, enjoying the view. The sunset was gorgeous, with the sunshine reflecting on the ocean. I stopped looking at the view and looked at Calamity. I grabbed her cheek and made her turn around, giving her a sweet kiss. She put her hands on my shoulders, gently pushing me down to the ground. I had my arms around her waist as she was on top of me, still kissing. A moment later, I broke the kiss and we were both slightly panting. Calamity rested her head on my chest, so now we were laying on the grass. There was silence as I was just staring at the stars that were above me.I whispered but got no response back. I looked down at Calamity and saw that she had already fallen asleep. She looked really adorable sleeping like this in my arms. I smiled and continued staring at the stars. Before I knew it, I also fell asleep.

I felt a weight was lifted off me, which woke me up. I slightly parted my eyes and saw Calamity got up and was walking away. I decided to pretend like I was sleeping and follow her when she was a little further away. After there was a good distance between us, I quietly got up and followed her direction. I couldn't see her anymore but I do know which way she went, and that was towards the mountain. What are you up to Calamity?
While I was walking, I heard a horrifying scream nearby. My head shot towards from where the sound was coming from and that was behind the mountain. I walked around the mountain and saw something horrific. I saw a man was laying lifelessly on the ground. I ran towards him and kneeled down next to him. I saw there was no wound or anything, but he had his eyes wide open and wasn't breathing, so he was dead. I had the urge to grab my phone and call John but before I could even move my hand to my pocket, something hard hit my head and everything went black.
I slowly started waking up but my head was pounding badly. I gained more consciousness and opened my eyes, seeing that I was in a cell. But this cell was familiar. Then I remembered. This is the cell area in the villain base. I sat up right and looked around. I didn't see anyone or any cameras, and reached out to grab my phone. To my surprise, it was still in my pocket.
I quickly called John and thank god he picked up. John asked with a grumpy voice. I yelled/whispered. John was now really serious. I explained. John said and hang up. I quickly put my phone away and tried finding a way out by trying to open the cell door, but it was no use.
Just then, the door opened of the cell area and who was standing there made me really happy. I said as I held on the cell bars. She was slowly walking towards me but something seemed off about her. When she was literally in front of the cell, I could see her whole face and saw something that made me shake a little in fear. Her eyes... they weren't the beautiful brown eyes that I used to see everyday. Instead, the center was a little brown/hazel, with green/grayish with a dark outline.
I asked a little shaky. She replied smirking. I couldn't even talk because of how scared I was to be honest. I have never seen Calamity talk like this before. She chuckled, putting her hands on her belt. She said. I asked in shock, but hoped she would say no. She said with an evil smirk. I gasped as she just confessed that she murdered them. But how... How could my own girlfriend murder people?

She said a little confused. I asked sadly. She simply said. I tried telling. Now I knew that this wasn't Calamity. But I couldn't tell what was going on with her. I could see her hand was twitching a little as she took 2 steps away from my cell. She said and I noticed that she was refusing to believe the truth, so I thought that she could maybe sort of be under a spell or something. But Plague cured the spell so it would be impossible for her to be under another spell.
I said, hoping that she would remember, but instead she looked uneasy. I think it was sort of working but I had to do more. Then, the idea of reminding her of more memories popped in my head. She cut me off by yelling at me. She yelled, clutching to the sides of her head with her hands, looking down with shut eyes. I then couldn't think anything else than another spell taking over her. So I did what I had to do.
I said trying to bring back more memories. Calamity groaned even more and fell on her knees, with her hands on the ground. I said trying to support her. She groaned in agony again and then she was just breathing heavy. After her breathing got a little normal again, I thought it was over. But then, her body fell on her right side, with her eyes closed, as if she was just sleeping. I got worried when I realized she was unconscious and didn't knew if I did the right thing or not, so I panicked. I yelled but no response. I couldn't do anything because I was in a cell. I just had to wait until the team would arrive.
After what felt like 5 minutes of panicking, the door of the cell area was burst open and I saw Sunny and Technique were here. When they noticed I was in a cell and Calamity unconscious on the floor, they gasped and ran towards us. Technique went to Calamity and put her head on her lap, while Sunny was trying to open the cell door with a bobby pin. Sunny asked worried after she opened the door and hugged me. I explained while I kneeled down next to Calamity and caressed her cheek.
Technique asked. I said. Sunny said.I suggested. Technique said. Sunny put her finger on the small ear device.Sunny asked. Sunny said and after that, she released her finger from the device. I asked. Sunny replied and I nodded.
After a minute or so, John rushed inside the cell area and came to us. John asked as he noticed us all around Calamity. I explained everything about the murder, her kidnapping me, her eye colors and about her fainting because of the memories. John said and put a finger on his ear device. John commanded. I grabbed Calamity from Technique and carried her bridal style.
Just like that me, Sunny, Technique and John left the villain base and went to our house. When we arrived, John opened the door for me and we all went inside. John said and I nodded. Sunny and Technique had to stay downstairs.
I followed John upstairs as he led us to our bedroom, opening the door and letting me in. He closed the door and put his backbag on the dresser. John said while he was searching something in his bag. I gently laid Calamity on our bed and walked to the window. I leaned against the wall, crossing my arms over my chest and stared outside, thinking about what was going on. I felt really bad because of what Calamity had to go trough.
I heard John walking and then stopped walking. I turned around to see what he was doing and saw he grabbed Calamity's wrists and tied them above her head to the headboard. I wanted to ask but John cut me off. John said a little stern. I didn't really want to get in trouble so I stayed silent. John said and I nodded and followed John downstairs.
When we were downstairs, everyone was there, including Plague. John said and explained everything to the team and asked Plague what was happening. Plague explained. I asked. Plague said. John asked nicely. Plague said and then said goodbye to everyone and left the house.
John said. Everyone left our house and of course Me, Brite and Raptor were left. I walked upstairs with no emotion and walked into our room, closing the door behind me. Calamity was still unconscious. I put my pajamas on and laid down next to her and put one of my arms around her waist. It was still midnight so I quickly fell asleep...
