《Mission: Impossible Fallout》- ONE -

Ethan was never the same after he joined the IMF. Missions after missions made him stay away from his life before being an agent. Every mission caused more danger, more thrill, more fights, more terrifying experiences. When was it ever enough for him? Sure, he liked his teammates but he could easily be betrayed by them if he did the wrong thing. He just wanted to spend time with his wife. With Julia. With the one he loved. With the one who kept hidden from society for him to be safe.
August Walker was never the same after his partner in crime, Courtney Jenkins, joined the CIA. He was an assassin. Being an assassin meant that he had to kill thousands of people. Walker began developing feelings for Jenkins since they were always working together. He had no idea that Jenkins was developing feelings for him. They always had loads of missions every day.
Julia was in hiding for a long time. She was never the same without Ethan. She longed for him; his touch; his voice; his scent; his body. She wasn't complete without him. Everyone thought she was dead. They were wrong. She was hidden away from society for Ethan. She couldn't afford to lose him. She never wanted to lose him. She didn't want to lose him. She tried to not imagine her husband, lying on his deathbed, unconscious; not being able to breathe. She couldn't live without him. She wouldn't live without him. She needed to find him before it was too late.
Courtney Jenkins had been with the CIA for two years. Two years she had been hiding her feelings for Walker. He was the only one who kept her safe; who made sure she was alright; who made sure she wasn't hurt. He was the only one who cared about her. She was a bit of a badass; one of the things that August adored. He loved everything about her.

She used to work for MI6 with a guy called Alex Rider. He didn't want her to get hurt. They had a fight, a big fight, and she left. That was when she met August Walker. She was only 19 when he found her in a crowd, fighting off drunk men from touching her in many intimate areas. He saved her, took her to Sloane and that was how her career of assassination began. She liked Walker, he liked her. They worked together and were never apart. But both of them didn't know what move to make. It was like their hands were tied. Sloane had advised them not to get closer. They were only friends. Friends is what they would stay.

Blood Seekers -- The Monolith
Blood Seekers - Book 1, is now on Amazon, including the final chapters not posted here! https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07MYJ5ZRC “You will die!” That's what the developers of Blood Seekers promised them... The most challenging MMO ever created—that’s how they advertised it. Taglines like, “Not your granddaddy’s game,” and, “Only for the hardest of the hardcore,” had gamers going crazy. Set in a gothic, Lovecraftian world, with fully realized A.I. NPCS, gamers were desperate to get their hands on the new game and dive in, and Clay was one of them. It was going to be tough, but he was ready for it. What he wasn’t ready for, was countless players having their minds hijacked and being transformed into mindless, hostile creatures filled with nothing but hate who killed anyone on sight. They called them the Bloodless. Clay’s best and only friend, Rey, moved across the country she was twelve, but they kept in touch online, playing countless games together, and when Blood Seekers was released, they were both ready to step up to the plate and face the new challenge together. But now, Rey has been taken by the plague, her mind held hostage as one of the Bloodless. A mysterious black monolith has appeared at the center of the highest level zone in the game, a place no one has even come close to. Some say it will provide us with answers. Others say it will only lead to more questions. Who’s behind all this? Why are people’s minds being taken? Will we ever get to bring them back? How many more will be lost if we stay logged in? Nothing is certain, but if there’s any chance that reaching the monolith will bring Rey back back, then Clay will do everything he can to reach it. This is Book 1 in a new series from Stephen Roark! I will be posting chapters here until the book is done and published on Amazon!

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
